Neat Kitchens Reviews 

We recently moved to the area and the property we purchased required some updating including a new kitchen. In order to have the kitchen upgraded we also needed some extensive structural, plumbing and heating reconfiguration involving the removal of walls, a chimney breast and the relocation of the boiler and hot water tank.

We were uncertain how to proceed given the amount of work involved and the diversity of expertise needed. We happened upon Neat Kitchens in Portishead and began discussions with their design team on what we wanted to achieve and the preparatory work needed in order to realise our dream. We were introduced to Matthew, at Neat, early on who completed a site visit and then went away to assess the work and came back with an estimate on the cost of completing all of the work required which we were comfortable with and agreed to proceed.

We then started to work with Daniel, Neat’s Lead Kitchen Designer, to bring our ideas to life. Daniel was very adept at making suggestions to optimise the layout, maximise space and making the right choices regarding the design and fine detail. It took a few iterations but we were able to land on our perfect kitchen.

We there then introduced to the team who would collaborate on the necessary demolition, making good, plumbing, electrical and ultimately the install of the kitchen during a joint site visit. We agreed a start date and received the plan including the timeline of the work and were delighted at how quickly the work could be done, given the scope.

During the entirety of the project, we were kept fully up to date on progress and engaged throughout to make critical decisions. Everyone was great at solving the obstacles that are unavoidable when your house was built in the 1800’s, which meant that all challenges were overcome. Special mention goes out to Matthew (Neat Kitchens) and Nigel (NMC Construction) for their innovative ideas on the fine detail and problem solving.

In less than 2 months we experienced a complete transformation of our separate breakfast room and kitchen into a spacious open plan kitchen with beautiful, high-quality cabinets and finishings along with a new casual sitting area. We are thrilled with the outcome and would fully recommend Neat for your kitchen as well as your renovation work.

I have no hesitation at all in recommending Neat Kitchens. Dan came up with a design that accurately and creatively reflected what I wanted, and the fitting team were very professional. I particularly liked the fact that they managed the whole process so that I only had to liaise with one person as they managed the co-ordination of the whole project. I was a bit nervous as the kitchen was done while I was abroad, but the communication was very good indeed. When a decision was needed from me I got photos showing the options so I could choose exactly what height I wanted the handles to be, for instance. We also had a couple of calls via WhatsApp so I wasn't worried that I would be coming back to any unexpected surprises - just a gorgeous, stunning kitchen.

Fantastic service from Neat kitchens from design through to fitting. They were super flexible alongside our extension build- accommodating changes and working alongside our builders to ensure the best finish. We love the kitchen- it’s looks fantastic and has thoughtful design touches such as in cupboard lighting, bespoke dresser and splash backs that make it a pleasure to use. Neat Kitchens have just completed a fantastic job completely refurbishing our kitchen and utility room. We are delighted with the end result. Dan was our designer, and he was professional, experienced, diligent, and most importantly patient when dealing with our, almost inevitable, changes of mind, and revisions. The showroom being local made our frequent visits easy! Matthew was in charge of the fitting, and he was similarly professional and very experienced, and managed the whole process expertly. Both Matthew and Dan made us feel that their primary objective was to ensure we enjoyed the best possible experience and end result. They certainly achieved that objective. We are pleased we used this local company, as it was easy to pop in and enjoy the personal touches, and would certainly recommend them. We love our new kitchen.

Great experience from start to finish. Helpful, conscientious people. Designed a fabulous kitchen. Installers polite, efficient and kept disruption to a minimum. After service great too, ensuring we were completely happy with everything.

Our new Masterclass kitchen is completed and we are thrilled with it. We had looked around Neat Showrooms several times to get ideas. The staff there are friendly and approachable. Jon visited us several times to discuss suggestions and ideas. We were given printed plans which was good to see what the finished kitchen could look like.
They have excellent kitchen fitters/installers who were friendly and tidy and very professional. Always left the area clean and tidy every evening. Matthew kept us up to date with developments and oversaw the whole project. We would highly recommend Neat Kitchens.

Lily did an amazing design for our new kitchen and it was executed smoothly and beautifully by Matt and team - particularly given our challenging timescale due to expecting a baby!
We came in looking for inspiration and Lily really listened to us, and came up with tons of great suggestions from extra height cupboards to extending the breakfast bar to create more storage space. She really understood our budget and constraints with first pregnancy and holidays occuring during the planning phase and made sure we knew when we needed to make decisions to stay on track.

Matt handled every detail of installation and kept us informed every step of the way so it was truly stress-free. Cleaned up every night, considerate when we were working from home, left us with a sink as long as possible including fitting a temporary sink to ensure we still had water over the unexpected bank holiday!
The team also went above and beyond in replacing an upstairs pipe & tap which had recently leaked.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Neat to anyone.

what a professional and speedy transaction!
I was having great difficulty in sourcing a replacement built in oven and microwave until i walked through door of Neat Kitchens in Portishead.
Survey arranged the following day, next day a message to advise of replacements and prices, given a lead time of 7 days, guys turned up bang on time on the 27th September, fused spur installation required, successful fitting by two very competent and tidy engineers and gone by midday!
I would thoroughly recommend this excellent company. Quality from start to finish .

Neat Kitchens are an exceptional superb professional company. I recently had them refit my kitchen. The products they offer are top quality. The team from designer -Daniel through to fitters Matt, Warner and others are a credit to the company. I had no issues with giving them keys to come and go as they needed always knowing they were completely trustworthy. Going above and beyond the standard fitting to helping out when I accidentally locked myself out and had Warner drive over on a Saturday afternoon with my keys to save me having to call a locksmith to gain entry.

I would 100% recommend anyone looking for a new kitchen to go to Neat !

They were always at the end of the phone keeping us informed with progress with the fitting dates, delivery of appliances.

We are delighted with our new kitchen from Neat. The double act of Daniel on Design and Matthew on Delivery worked very well. Daniel listened carefully to what we we wanted and gave us a design that matched our needs exactly. We quickly got through the detailed elements and went ahead. All the appliances were ordered and they were ready ahead of time. We decided to vacate the flat during the work and left Matthew to get on with it, only returning once to check progress. The work was done very expertly and the rest of our flat left clean and ready for our return. There was an important aspect to the work that involved blending in with some existing features. This was done very well. We were kept up todate and consulted throughout the process and the work was completed within the promised timescale.
We would recommend Neat to anyone.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. During the planning phase Dan listened to our requirements and matched the final solution to our budget with a very professional design. The fitting team were awesome and so friendly too and remained flexible throughout the whole process as minor adjustments were made to the plans. Using high quality products, the kitchen was completed ahead of time and to an exceptional high standard and has received much praise from family and friends alike.

The installation team were really friendly, helped out by rescheduling everyone when I got Covid 48hrs before they were meant to arrive. Big thank you to everyone who gave us such a beautiful kitchen within a sensible budget. The end product looks lovely and we are really now looking forward to sharing it with friends and family, the wine fridge is getting well stocked.
