Great location food and facilities and marvellous service from all the staff on site who couldn’t do more to make the holiday a great experience

Booking experience, organisation, greeting at the airport, transfers, room, cleanliness, food, staff all wonderful. Couldn't fault them despite a typhoon! However, the main reason I went was for tennis coaching which was not good. It was just a series of activities with little or no actual guidance. They would set you off on your task and then spend the rest of the time chatting to each other. Nowhere as good as Buca Beach club where I got to meet Mark Petchey too!! The padel experience was also not good. ridiculously overbooked with long queues to book. Only managed to play once all week.

Wonderful staff / both activity and hotel.

Great food and sports facilities. Sailing kit well looked after and bikes.

Buca is getting a little tired. Very little difference. Between this and messini now.

Enjoyed everything from start to finish. Staff were enthusiastic and fully committed to enhancing the experience.

Have been asked about the booking process. I am flexible as to where I fly from, but you don't get that option in a straightforward way when booking online. I wanted to go to a particular beach club for 14 nights, and would have been prepared to go from virtually any southern airport. But I had to see what was available from each airport instead of being shown on one page where I could fly from for that duration for that particular club.

We love this place - it’ll be our 5th year next year.
Staff are young, enthusiastic, and kind - I love the away they are with the little ones and they are very skilled in their particular sports when they are coaching.
The food is amazing, nutritious and healthy while being plentiful and delicious - with all the allergies and diets catered for too.
The equipment is top quality and if you get sunshine it’s a perfect holiday ( we did get sunshine this year.

straightforward. no problems

The online booking process was reasonably straightforward as we were booking for 10 people. Unfortunately my payment did not go through but when I rang up the person I spoke to immediately had all my details to hand and quickly completed the booking.

Esmie was very helpful. We had some questions as our booking was for a group of 10 & when she needed to check with resort, came back with the answers promptly.

The Nannie’s in the kids club were excellent. Les Mills Body Jam was fab! The bikes were great, when we were able to go out. The pools, bar the children’s one, were freezing. It was confusing to have different sign up options for different activities ie Neilson App / Apollo / hotel desk sign up. Cleaner was good. I liked having the choice of which days we could eat in the restaurant.

We had a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable stay at Neilson Active Holidays! From start to finish, everything was brilliant, and we had such a wonderful experience.

A special shout-out to Sive and Stef, who were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly helpful, professional and approachable, always going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their friendliness and positive attitude really made a difference to our stay.

Thank you both for making our holiday even more special. You are a real credit to the team! We have made some wonderful memories and would happily recommend Neilson Active Holidays. We hope to be back again soon! ☀️
