AVOID – False delivery promises and zero care for the newborn
If you are expecting a baby, please save yourself the stress and go use another company, surely anyone else couldn't be as bad as this one. They like to portray themselves as a family-run and understanding business, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The owner clearly cares nothing for the whole newborn experience; they just care about making money.
We ordered a £1,100 travel system in November. I explicitly told them I had an order ready with another retailer, but their sales team promised us guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Based on that promise, we went with them. This was a lie. Their own staff member later admitted to me on the phone that the original collection date they sold me was "always wrong" and should never have been promised.
Starting a family has been a real challenge for us, and he is our miracle baby. Instead of enjoying the final days of the pregnancy, I spent them incredibly stressed, chasing Newbie & Me. They ignored emails and failed to call back. I had to call them over 20 times in January alone.
Our baby was born at the end of January, and we still had no pram. To cover their incompetence, they gave us a scratched, used "loaner" pram and stand, which was heartbreaking and embarrassing to use for our newborn's first days. Even when the actual order finally started trickling in weeks later, parts like the carrycot stand were still missing. The owner was consulted multiple times about our situation. When I asked if they could just deliver our actual pram and pick up the loaner so I wouldn't have to travel with a newborn, the owner flat-out refused. He insisted I make a 3-hour round trip myself just to fix their mistakes.
Even at the very end, when our only focus should have been our newborn, we realised we hadn't even been given the small accessories that were part of the "Ultimate" bundle we paid for. Shockingly, they hadn't even written "Ultimate" on their copy of the invoice. It was only because my receipt explicitly stated it that I had the proof to show they still owed me these items. I have no doubt they would have argued against giving them to me if I didn't have that paper trail.
When it came to resolving this, I had to chase them with multiple emails and phone calls just to get basic answers. Head Office initially offered a totally insulting £50 compensation. After fighting this, the local manager bumped it to a £100 store voucher. They made it explicitly clear that they do not offer cash compensation, even when they are 100% at fault. Think about that: after completely failing us, their way of making it right is forcing us to spend more money in their store.
The amount of time I spent chasing them to sort out their own mistakes is unacceptable, and their lack of accountability was embarrassing. They may boast good reviews, but please look closely at the negative ones that is where the truth lies. This company shows its true colours when things don't go to plan. They are happy to promise you the world to get your money, but once they have it, their customer service vanishes. Save yourself the stress and avoid them entirely.
Avoid at all cost.!
Avoid at all cost.!! They are amazing at selling you the item of your dreams but the minute theirs an issue they are none existent. Ive been filled with fake promises & lies to the point I exploded as my baby was left with no pram !! I seen red.. I also did a chargeback with my back. Ameer advised me to cancel this charge back and he will refund me. That didnt happen I am now trying to reopen the case to do another charge back. Ive been told lies after lies from meg & ameer for the last week to get a refund for this broken pram. I candy have been helpful they collected the pram straight away. This shop is a huge scam ! Take your money but dont give you the goods. Please avoid!!! THEY ALSO BLOCK UU ON SOCIAL MEDIA 🤣

Excellent customer service
As first time parents, we didn't know where to start when buying a pram, but we received excellent support and advice from Lauren at the Birmingham store. Recommendations were tailored to our needs and budget, and every question we asked was answered. Made the whole process so much easier, can't recommend enough!

I often watch Newbie and Me videos on…
I often watch Newbie and Me videos on YouTube, they are very informative and offer great reviews on prams and helped me decide which travel stroller to go for. They very kindly offered to price match the one I decided on which was on offer with a competitor. A girl called from the Leeds store, put my order through over the phone, asked when I needed it by, I just said this week, and sure enough it arrived this week. I also received a email confirmation of my order form so I knew everything was correct and as agreed over the phone. Very happy, great service, great price. Thank you 🙏

Avoid if you want your items by the time stated
Ordered a puschair, said next day delivery when checking out, but then checked and that only applies to orders placed by 1pm, no worries I assumed it would then be dispatched the following working day for deliver the next day. How wrong I was. I only ordered from them as they offered next day delivery, wish I checked their reviews first as it seems this is a common issue they have. Why offer next day delivery if you are not going to fulfil this

The only place I could find the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 for a cheaper price as everywhere still seems to have it at full price. It also came with a free carrier!

Liars!
Newbie and Me have responded to my initial negative review of them in which Newbie and Me's response contains false statements, So only fair i address them to make others aware how bad this company really is.
In regards to providing updates to when you received them why was it the case that i had to constantly email and phone for these rather than getting these without chasing, looking back through the email chain i cant see a single instance where you provided any updates without me having to ask for them.
In regards to retailers having different estimated delivery dates the new company I ordered from also did not carry any stock and comparing the delivery labels of the the partial items i received from Newbie and Me and the items I received from the other retailer were both dispatched from Allison Baby UK who are the distributors of Nuna goods. Newbie and Me had my order for nearly 5 months (before i requested cancellation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) The other retailer took 5 days from placing my order to me receiving the exact same goods. Therefore blaming nuna's distributor is false as they were able to deliver the exact same goods to another retailer all whilst you were continuing to blame the distributor. (clearly the problem is with yourselves and the distributor, and not the distributor themselves.)
I never stated my emails in general were ignored, My multiple requests for cancellation and a refund were ignored as you continued to respond to these emails with new delivery estimates (which you continued to miss) thus completely ignoring my multiple requests for cancellation and refund.
Finally, and to clarify I phoned the store on the 30th January 2026 to cancel and followed this up in writing with an email cancelling the order under the Consumer Right Act 2015 on the 31st January 2026, I sent further emails after these dates reiterating that i wanted to cancel and want a refund. You phoned me on the 7th February 2026 (which went to voicemail) and then emailed me on the 10th February 2026 to advise that the pram was now in and i could be booked in for collection however you were still missing some parts of the order. I emailed you back the same day to once again advise that I have cancelled the order under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and want a refund. At no point did i agree to be booked in for any collection, and suggesting i requested a refund after this is a total lie. I have the emails and call logs to prove this.
***Newbie and Me's Response below***
Throughout the process, we provided updates to you whenever we received them. The estimated arrival times we communicated were based on information supplied directly by the brand, Nuna, and their distribution updates. As a retailer, we rely on the delivery schedules provided by the manufacturers and suppliers, and unfortunately these can sometimes change outside of our control.
It is also important to note that different retailers may have different estimated delivery times depending on whether they already have stock physically available in their store or warehouse. In our case, we were awaiting the items to be sent directly from Nuna rather than holding those specific items in-store at the time of your order.
We would also like to clarify that none of your emails were ignored. We remained in contact with you throughout and responded whenever updates were available to share. At one stage you were booked in to collect your order, however the collection you didn't turn up for and you later advised that you wished for a refund instead.
We apologise for the delays you experienced and for the frustration this caused during an important time for you and your family.
Kind Regards
Newbie and Me

DO NOT SHOP HERE
What should have been one of the most exciting purchases in preparation for the arrival of our baby has instead been a prolonged and stressful experience, marked by poor communication, unexpected changes, and repeated delays.
We initially visited the Crewe store on 9th November 2025 and chose a Nuna travel system in the colour “Cedar.” We returned on 29th November 2025 with the family member who was kindly purchasing the pram for us, only to be informed that the Cedar colour had been discontinued — something that had not been mentioned at all during our visit just 20 days earlier.
I was then shown a photograph on a staff member’s phone of what was described as a “close alternative,” the colour “Chestnut.” After considerable discussion with my partner over the phone, we agreed to proceed and paid a £100 deposit to secure the order. At that time, I was clearly informed that lead times remained the same and that the complete travel system would be available for collection in store on 1st February 2026, upon payment of the final balance when all items were ready to ship.
The final balance was paid via bank transfer on 13th January 2026.
On 2nd February 2026, having heard nothing, I contacted the store to chase the order and was told it was not yet in store but would be followed up with the supplier. On 4th February 2026, I was then informed that the carrycot part of the bundle was unavailable and out of stock with the supplier. I was asked whether I wished for the remainder of the travel system to be released.
This raised several concerns:
- I was originally advised that full payment would not be taken until the complete travel system was available. However, the balance was taken weeks before the items were ready.
-If there was a known delay or stock issue, why was I not contacted proactively?
-Why was the rest of the system not dispatched immediately upon receipt of full payment?
After agreeing on 4th February for the remaining items to be released, it then took until 23rd February 2026 for them to arrive in store — nearly three weeks later and over three weeks beyond the original promised collection date of 1st February.
Our baby then arrived on 11th March 2026. Following his arrival, we chased the carrycot again as my partner only had one week off work and we wanted to make the most of using the carrycot element of the pram during that time. During this contact, we were advised that it may be possible to fast-track the order and that we would be contacted if this was successful. Unfortunately, we did not receive any follow-up communication.
On 23rd March 2026, we contacted the store again and were informed that the carrycot had still not arrived. We were then contacted on 24th March to advise that the carrycot had come into stock and delivery to our home address was arranged for later that day.
While we now finally have the complete pram, this has come far too late. Precious time has already been lost making memories with our newborn using the carrycot — time which cannot be recovered. This is particularly disappointing given that the carrycot is only usable for a limited period due to weight and age restrictions.
Since placing our order in November 2025, I have also become aware of multiple poor reviews left for the store, many of which describe issues strikingly similar to those we have experienced — particularly around delays, communication failures, and stock availability. Throughout our interactions, we have repeatedly been told that the issues lie with the supplier, “Nuna.” However, these reviews reference a variety of different brands and suppliers, which strongly suggests that the problems are not isolated to one supplier, but instead point to wider issues within Newbie and Me itself.
Had we been aware of these consistent concerns prior to placing our order, we would have made a different decision and chosen to purchase elsewhere.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the entire process. A significant amount of money has been spent, and the level of service received has fallen far below expectations. It has taken approximately seven weeks beyond the originally agreed collection date for us to receive the full travel system.
The lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and failure to meet agreed timelines has caused unnecessary stress at what should have been a special and memorable time for our family.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company, they sell you a dream and it turns into a nightmare, they lie about stock levels and lead times, fast to take money for “pre order” but don’t deliver the goods, ordered a pram system in November, paid as soon as we were told and said items would be in stock 1st of Feb, now been told its not coming till 23rd of March, baby is already here and waiting for items we paid for 3 months ago
This company have scammed me out of…
This company have scammed me out of nearly £1200. The travel system was bought and paid for in September. We still do not have the travel system or a refund. My baby was born months ago and this company are happy to leave me out of pocket.
Please avoid at all costs they’re very clever and my bank is unable help me get my refund!
Amazing experience
Popped into the Leeds store today just for a look (I’m pushchair obsessed!) the staff were amazing and so knowledgeable. Not pushy at all. Showed me lots of options and even helped me with positioning of my little one in his existing car seat. Will definitely go back

Wheres my money??? Been weeks now. Emails not answered. £1200 owing!! Since September 2025.
LIARS
Please don't believe their responses on here.
They have replied to our previous review - absolute lies
They have absolutely sold the item that we were waiting for to somebody else. So now I am thousands of pounds down - and without an item. I would of gone and picked it up if they at least kept it. So now they are double in profits at my expense!!
WHEN ARE TRADING STANDARDS OR SOMEONE GOING TO SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!
We would like to clarify that we do not sell items that have already been purchased by another customer, nor do we withhold refunds. Orders are processed through our system and fulfilled in the order they are received.
On some occasions, delays can occur due to supplier stock availability or delivery timeframes, particularly with certain baby brands that ship directly from the manufacturer. In situations where an item cannot be fulfilled, customers are offered either an alternative, the option to wait for restock, or a full refund in line with consumer regulations.
If you have experienced an issue with a specific order, we would encourage you to contact our customer service team with your order details so we can review the situation and assist you further
Thank you

hair on the Cybex baby carrier
After a long wait and numerous emails, we still have not received any proper solution. The product we eventually received arrived in a completely unacceptable condition.
The Cybex baby carrier, which we paid nearly £200 for, was full of hair. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a baby product. Even if it had been a display item, a product in this price range should arrive in a clean and hygienic condition.
I reported the issue to customer service several times and sent photos and videos as evidence, yet the team repeatedly claimed that this was “impossible”. This is extremely frustrating, as the evidence clearly shows the problem.
I am very disappointed with both the quality of the product and the attitude of customer service. For a Cybex baby product and a £200 item, a much higher standard should be expected.
