Sad experience
"I am fully aware that New Idol Models is not a modelling agency and does not guarantee work, representation, or bookings. That was never my complaint.
My review was based on the quality of the services I actually received — namely:
- Substandard photographs that were far below professional quality.
- Digital images delivered six weeks later, even though these are typically produced quickly.
- An exorbitant total cost of £1850 for digital products that were rushed, poorly edited, and unusable.
- A promised £50 refundable attendance deposit which was not refunded despite your own written terms.
- Claims of hair, makeup, and a stylist on hand, which were not provided as advertised.
None of this constitutes defamation. These are verifiable experiences based on what I paid for, what I was promised, and what I actually received.

This actually captured my experience, I had travelled down with my whole family from Bournemouth to London for the sad experience, they'd never look after you ever after. The service that I had to pay nearly £2000 for service that should never be charged over £200
I paid a significant amount for a portfolio that was meant to include a month of support, but I only got a call once. Very disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend spending money on something you don’t really need. They seem more interested in taking your money than offering real support or follow-up. I’ve wasted nearly £2,000.

To clarify, your attendance deposit is fully refundable, and there is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything on the day. Most clients simply choose to put the deposit towards their images or packages — but this is completely optional and entirely your choice.
We also want to highlight that our team includes award-winning makeup artists and professional photographers who have worked on major European fashion shows and have been featured in well-known publications. We invest heavily in experienced industry professionals to ensure clients receive the highest possible quality and service.

Assessment Shoot
I enjoyed the assessment shoot mostly because it was a new experience (I have no modelling background). Raf and Magdalene (photographer and make-up artist) were great; very chatty and welcoming and they put all of us at ease.
One potential area for improvement for NIM is to be on time, but otherwise it was a great fun day.

SCAM!! AVOID!! The 5 star reviews are fake. If only I knew what I know now. They will insist on payment for photoshoot and agency referrals plus extras there and then before you leave the building. The agencies they refer you to will also ask you for money to join. Any agency that asks for money to get on their books is also a scam. (don't believe me? check online) Fortunately I realised my mistake before paying any more money. The only upside is some of the photo's I ended up paying £1400 for including referrals and other extras have greatly increased interest in my online dating profile.
