100% dissatisfied with this service

100% dissatisfied with this service. If I could give less than one star, I'd give no stars. We made a reservation a month prior to pick up date, but never received a confirmation of driver. Two days prior we started calling to find out when we could expect a driver to contact us, only to be told that they don't source the driver until the day prior. The day prior we started calling again and kept getting told that they would call us shortly. They never did. We called again at 5pm local time and we're told that we'd get a call at 8am CST the next day (pickup day). Never happened. We called them again and were told we were the #1 priority. Mind you, this is the date the truck was supposed to be picked up. We finally called them back at 6pm and were told there was no available driver. This company NEVER contacted us, not once. Had we not initiated contact 48 hours prior I'm convinced they never would have reached out. Had we not called them repeatedly, I'm sure we'd never have heard from them. Even the very last contact when they confirmed no driver was available we initiated the call. This company sucks!!!

My experience with nexus was great

My experience with nexus was great. Melissa was my primary contact and made set up extremely easy even though I through a few road blocks in the process. Melissa was quick with a solution. THANK YOU. The drive they chose was first rate easy to work with was on time and very prompt with communications.

We contacted Nexus about a month prior…

We contacted Nexus about a month prior to when would we would need our truck picked up. We set the date for April 16 and we got a confirmation. I contacted them on the 15th and asked about what time they planned on picking up and was told they’re still trying to find a local driver. They said they would contact me the next morning on the 16th. I call them at a little after seven in the morning Pacific standard time and was told that it was still too early on this side of the coast to get a hold of anyone and to give them 2 to 3 hours. I called again at about 11:15 and was told they’re still trying to find a driver and they were waiting for some callbacks. I explained that we needed an answer because if they weren’t gonna be here, we needed to make other arrangements. Our time was not fluid we’re moving out of state. We had things set to specific timeline. My husband then called and was told the same thing. He then asked to speak to supervisor and when he asked them yes or no, is somebody going to be here to pick up our vehicle? He was told that no driver was assigned yet and to please give them a couple of hours. He also explained about our timeline. He then told them that since no driver has been assigned. they’re fired. If you have a month and you wait till the day prior to find a driver, your business practices are horrible, you have no consideration for the people that you’re supposed to be helping. They claim that they help military members transport their vehicles. So this is a warning out to anybody who is military or retired military like we are please avoid this company, you don’t need the headache or the stress.

Missed Windows, No Notice, and Costly Delays

Pickup:
- Received a call at 8:30 AM saying I should be on location since we were within the 8 to 12 hour window
- Called at noon for an update and was told the window had moved to 2 to 3 PM
- Called again at 3:30 PM and was then told the window was actually 3 days and that I should not be annoyed
- Was told the driver would still arrive that day and that I would get at least 30 minutes notice
- Around 8 PM, I received a call while at dinner that they had already arrived with no advance notice

Delivery:
- Initially saw delivery listed as Tuesday the 31st
- The driver could not communicate clearly due to a language barrier, and I was told it might be late Monday or early Tuesday
- Based on that, I changed my flight at a cost of about $300
- Later I was told it might actually be Tuesday afternoon or evening
- The car ultimately did not arrive until Wednesday morning, making the flight change unnecessary

Overall:
The actual transport itself was fine, but the communication and constantly shifting timelines made the experience frustrating and unreliable. I understand there can be variability in logistics, but the lack of clear and consistent updates, along with conflicting information, made planning around this difficult and costly.

Bait and switch leaves you wasting your time

Absolute, horrible company bait and switch was quoted $1250. So I made the order. Waited eleven days, calling and checking every day. I finally got a return call. Stating that the shipment was now gonna be 2100. And that they found a driver. What a waste of time and effort!!

5 Stars – Awesome Experience!
Had my Toyota Corolla shipped from Birmingham to Dallas with Nexus Auto Transport, and everything went super smoothly. My driver, Erick, was great — he called right away, we figured out pickup and drop‑off spots easily, and he kept me in the loop the whole time. He even sent photos when the car got delivered. It honestly felt more like chatting with a friend than handling a business deal.

I almost went with another company, but Nexus got back to me right away while the other place took forever to respond. Really glad I chose them — I’d definitely use them again!

This experience was amazing!! The pricing was beyond fair!!! They were upfront with all the cost!!! The driver was amazing!! Great company

Great company. They had me setup with a carrier within 2 days. The carrier that was assigned DC Auto Transport did a fantastic job. No bait and switch here, the price they quoted me, I paid. Car got shipped from Baltimore to Chicago in 3 days.

We recently used Nexus Auto transport…

We recently used Nexus Auto transport company to move our new car across state lines, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They were prompt, courteous, and highly professional throughout the entire process.
Our vehicle was handled with great care and arrived right on time, transported securely on a flatbed. The driver was especially professional—he kept us informed every step of the way, providing updates on his location and expected arrival time, which gave us real peace of mind.
We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and professional car transport services.

Positive experience shipping car cross-country

Had a wonderful experience all around shipping one car from San Francisco to Georgia. Easy and fast pickup scheduling (within ~2-3 days), good communication, and a faster-than-expected delivery, all for a reasonable price in my area. I would recommend Nexus to any of my contacts in need of an auto transport service in the future!

Damaged Vehicle

On February 24, 2026, I contracted Nexus Auto Transport to mov my vehicle from Virginia to Texas. Communication was initially fine then got worse. The truck showed up later than scheduled and picked up the vehicle. The vehicle was in mint condition. When the vehicle was delivered it had a bad film of chemicals all over it. In addition, there was a significant gouge in the paint and front end. Nexus was contacted and advised it was not their issue, and I would have to contact the trucking company they contracted for the transport. When I asked for the insurance information, they said I would have to get that from the company as well. When I attempted to contact the trucking company, I would get no response to text, email or phone. After many more emails and calls to Nexus they finally provided an insurance certificate and advised I had to contact the insurance company. When I attempted to contact the insurance company, they advised they were the liability carrier and could not cover damaged cargo. There was no cargo insurance listed on the certificate of insurance. Again. I contacted Nexus, since the trucking company, would not respond, and they stated they cannot help that it is my problem with the trucking company.

The damage cost $1,400 to repair out of my pocket because Nexus failed to assist with the carrier they contracted. In addition, four weeks after the transportation, I received a toll bill for failing to pay violation from HCTRA because the truck driver had taken my vehicle off the truck and used it for his personal use in Houston going through $100.00 worth of tolls. The vehicle was then delivered to the destination.
This company has been a nightmare to deal with and now will not respond as well. A $1,000 transport has now cost me $2,500 and I now have to file lawsuits against the carrier and Nexus to recover my damages for something that could have been handled by the insurance company except that Nexus is using uninsured contract carriers.

Stay away from Nexus Auto Transport

Stay away from Nexus Auto Transport. I had my 2017 Ferrari F12 delivered from Florida. The car was PPF’d upon purchase and never driven since. The driver took detailed pictures of the car upon pickup at the dealership with no notation of any damage. When I received the car yesterday, the lower carbon fiber front bumper was scraped on both sides. I provided pictures to them of the car prior to being picked up and pictures of the damage, which they dismissed. The pictures they provided when they picked up the car showed no damage and there was no notation of any damage reported by the driver at pickup. I will be reaching out to my attorney to have them be accountable for the damage

Highly recommended!

Great experience with this company! From our first interaction with Martin to the scheduling with Roman, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. The initial booking was easy and painless. We had to reschedule our pickup twice — no problems or hassles there at all. Our driver, Makhmed, was fantastic. The car was delivered in enclosed transport, as promised, and super fast. Makhmed was friendly, courteous, and took great care of our vehicle. This company made a very stressful cross country move as easy and smooth as it gets! If we ever need to ship our cars again, we will certainly be using them. Thank you!

Horrible!!!

Fantastic Service and Communication

Fantastic, far above expectations for communication, scheduling, coordination, and transparency. My car arrived in excellent condition and the driver was stellar. I did not have to worry about anything between Brian and Ilrke. They are true assets to Nexus!
