Impressed
I was impressed when I received my order. I ordered yam, plantain, bell-peppers and tomatoes. Every item was without defect. My peppers and tomatoes were as fresh as newly harvested. The plantains weren't overripe. It was almost as if, my order was carefully selected and only the best was shipped. I'm not even certain I will get everything as fresh as this in any African shop. I would absolutely recommend Niyis to anyone looking have good African food items delivered. Thank you for making it a worthwhile shopping experience for me.

Absolutely brilliant customer service
Absolutely brilliant customer service. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Been shopping with them for some months now, and I always get, quality fresh produce, timely dispatch, and professional courtesy after sales service always.

After I placed my order, I got a prompt call informing me about a small cancellation and refund due to an out-of-stock item.

Disappointing 3kg box of red snapper
Ordered a 3kg box of red snapper. No where on the website did it state the size or quantity of fish equalling the 3kg. Was surprised and very disappointed to receive a box of small fish.

Our website specifies the type of fish, as well as the fact that it comes in a box of 3kg. Snapper fishes as a standard come in sizes between 10 inches and 14 inches.
As we already told you when you contacted us, we provide on our website the information we think is needed for our customers and we try our best to be as clear as possible.
While we understand that the number of fishes would have been useful for you, it is not essential information. However, we further explained we are always happy to give any extra information to our customers should they feel the information we provide on the website is not enough or if they have specific requirements.
As so far we didn’t have anyone asking how many fishes are in the box or complaining about the lack of information regarding this, we just didn’t think this was important information for our customers. However, we do appreciate your feedback and we are always happy to improve based on customers’ needs and feedback, therefore we have already added the estimated number of fishes to our website.
