0 stars- liars and thieves

0 stars! Liars, cheats, fraudsters!!! I tried to draw out a mere £30 (plus £1.50 charges). I walked away with £30 cash, however when checking my bank ac, I’d been robbed of a further £90 (plus £4.50 charges). 3 months later I received a letter from Nationwide saying that Notemachine Ltd found no discrepancy. Have been robbed! Shame on you noteworthy ltd and shame on Nationwide for not doing more to protect its customers!!! Absolutely disgusted!!!

DO NOT USE THESE MACHINES!!!!!

DO NOT USE THESE MACHINES!!!!!! I would give no stars if I could. I have just used a machine inside a food hall. I have used this numerous times without a problem but have seen others who have had problems. I assumed it was the customers card at fault. It clearly is not. This time the machine swallowed my card for no reason then just said it was out of order. I was only asking for a balance. I called the number on the machine and the girl I spoke to was disinterested at best and said she had no idea why it happened and could only put me through to my bank. I now have to wait 5 days for a new card and pin. After reading the info on here i will never use one of these type of machines from this company again and warn everyone I know. Who owns these machines anyway and what body regulates them. Are they part of some organized scam? How is this being aloud to happen? What happens to all the cards that they find when the service engineer opens it up? Even if the bank cancels the card it still makes me feel something is not right. I am going to investigate this further through Trading Standards Watch Dog .

Terrible company

Terrible company. Press this button, press that button, press the button you have already pressed. Are you sure ! A notoriously faulty machine swallowed my card today and failed to open its operating screen to press its siull buttons. Calling the number of the machine the operator could not have been less helpful. COWBOYS !

Don't understand the negative reviews

Don't understand the negative reviews on this company, I have a notemachine cash machine around the corner from where I live and use it several times a week and have done for the past 3 years without any issue.
What I will say is atm machines can have issues I have experienced them from natwest ones and the post office, in those situations it also too 3-5 working days to refund.

Note Machine not a good company

Tried to withdraw £250 on 16/08/20 from a machine at Costco in Cardiff and no money came out. Called Note Machine who told me the money was automatically returned to my account in 3 days to a week. I have called them several times and the story changes but the theme seems to be that it is the fault of my bank in USA.
Here we are at 2/10/20 and still no money in my account and my bank has not had a reply although they did start an ATM investigation on 24/08/20. These Note Machine customer service people either dont know what they are saying or openly lie and I think it is both. I have reported the whole thing to Costco head office who are investigating.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THE NOTEMACHINE

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY. THEIR MACHINE RETAINED MY CARD AFTER MAKING LOUD BEEPING SOUNDS, WHEN KEYING MY PIN. WHEN I PRESSED CANCEL TO GET MY CARD BACK (NEED MORE TIME), THEY MACHINE DETAINED MY ATM CARD FROM NATWEST. THEY ARE SCUM BAGS/ FRAUDSTERS. I WILL CAMPAIGN FOR THEM TO BE STRIPED LICENSE AND STOP TRADING IN ENGLAND. THEY CANNOT PAY FOR THE PAIN AND EMOTION SUFFERING THEY HAVE COST. INCONVENIENCE OF NOT HAVING FOR THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS PLUS AND TODAY IS FRIDAY.
EVERYONE/PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID NOTEMACHINE AT MORRISON STORE. THAMESMEAD SE28. IF YOU USE THEM BE QUICK, BECAUSE OF THE SCUMS SETTINGS. THEY DONT DESERVE ANY STAR.

INADEQUATE - don't use

I withdrew money from NoteMachine in Penrith. It told me to take the notes, but the metal lid on the machine didn't open. The money was stuck behind this lid. I called the number on the machine, but the people were SPECTACULARLY unhelpful. Still trying to get my cash back.
Broken machines, incompetent staff - AMATEURS

NoteMachine are fraudulent.

For those of you complain of NoteMachine, i have made extensive enquiries concerning this shameful outfit, and been stone-walled at every turn.

The Morrisons store at Fakenham in Norfolk, February '19 had an ATM which had run out of funds - nonetheless less the £200 that I requested was still taken from my account. I phoned the NM HQ in Crickhowell and was told, bluntly that the funds would only be returned following a demand from my bank. Over the weekend, the machine was not re-filled with cash. How many further and failed attempts were there, with NM charging our banks for every supposed transaction?

NM charge our banks - the fund holders, 25p for every transaction and the banks, for reasons that are beyond me, agree to this.

The Financial Standards Authority (FSA) assure me that there are no relevant Laws which cover the ownership or the operation of ATMs. I have contacted Trading Standards, my local Authorities, my MP and Watchdog - - no one is interested.

NoteMachine are very well aware of their fraudulent conduct, - fraud being decided because with no warning on the ATM and of it being at fault, they continue to charge for a service which they know very well they cannot provide - - and still, they maintain a silence.

Note ATM Machine. Morrisons, Frodsham

I used the Note machine in Morrisons Supermarket in Frodsham last week to withdraw cash. No money was issued yet my account has been debited by the full amount. After various phone calls and a week later I have still not been refunded by my Nationwide bank or by Note. The service is appalling and it is hassle, hassle, hassle all the way. I cannot recommend Note cash machines.

Morrisons note machine Frodsham,we used…

Morrisons note machine Frodsham,we used this machine Thursday 14th May at 9.53. Withdrawing £50 or so we thought, no money was dispensed on contacting Morrisons staff we were informed it wasn't their problem as it is not their machine, we were told to contact n.m. using the number displayed, there response was we can't do anything phone your bank, I don't understand why it is my banks problem when they do not own the machines after reading all the problems with N.M. at Morrisons Supermarkets I would expect them to have a better input if any the way N.M treat their customers.

Wednesday 29th April at 18.10 hours I…

Wednesday 29th April at 18.10 hours I put my Barclays debit card in Morrison’s ATM Notemachine, which gave me no money and kept my card. The staff supervisor, Jo and her colleagues kept telling me to call my Bank Barclays because it was nothing to do with Morrison’s. After several attempts to contact Barclays where I was in the phone each time for 11/2 to 2 hours until they cut me off, I was unable to report the loss of my card! This is not the first that Morrison’s Notemachine in their Frodsham branch has been faulty and there are no maintenance staff on call as the supervisor manager states they were not responsible for calling them. In fact it seems to me and other customers that Morrison’s have no concern for the welfare and safety of their customers and deny any responsibility even though they are a service provider within England and Wales, and therefore are under the laws of England and Wales. As a service provider they, Morrison’s have a statutory duty of care to all their customers and their property within their stores. Very poor.
