Outstanding, professional service from start to finish
Novello Chartered Surveyors delivered A1 service from first contact through to booking, confirmation, and the final survey.
My surveyor, Ahsan, was approachable and attentive. He took on my list of concerns and provided a thorough, clearly explained report, first verbally (as promised) and then in writing. He focused on facts, set sensible priorities for any works, and outlined how to manage the rest over time.
Thanks to his diligence, I now have exactly the information I need to turn the house I’m buying into the home I want using the clear reference points he provided.

Amazing Service
The company were quick to respond to the request with a quote and booked us in within a week.

Great experience
We recently used Charlotte from North West for our house survey, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Great initial booking process. They were not pushy when I mentioned we will get back in touch when we were ready. Rafaquat our surveyor was amazing! Really helpful with the follow up questions we had and really gave us the confidence for next steps. The report was thorough and I would use Rafaquat over and over again! Exceptional Experience
As a first time buyer I was unsure what surveyor to go with, after contacting multiple companies and asking for a recommendation from my estate agent Novello was the recommended.
From the very beginning they have been very helpful, answering any questions you may have. Survey was booked 2 weeks after initial contact. Ian contacted me after the survey giving me a description on what was found at the property, within 24 hours I received my survey report. The report was very detailed with pictures.
Couldn’t recommend this company anymore due to their exceptional customer service & experience.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. While the initial conversation was informative and the representative seemed knowledgeable, the interaction quickly turned uncomfortable when I questioned the value of the service being offered.
Instead of clearly demonstrating why their service stands out, the discussion became overly hypothetical and, at times, felt dismissive of my perspective as a customer. I was left with the impression that my decision not to proceed was being judged rather than respected.
I have no issue paying a premium when the value is clear, but I do expect to be treated with basic respect throughout the process. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would not consider using this company in the future.

I recently used this company for a survey on the house I’m buying, and overall a great experience. They were incredibly easy to deal with from start to finish, and were the most competitive on price out of the three companies we asked for a quote. The turnaround time was quick, which really took a lot of stress out of the buying process.

It was very easy to book a survey and pay online and an appointment was quickly made with my estate agent to access the property. I received a phone call following access with a brief summary and reassurance there were no major issues, which was helpful and put my mind at rest. We opted for the level 3 survey with drone images of the roof. The report arrived the next day, was easy to understand, included plenty of images and advice on issues to resolve/improve. Chris was happy to answer follow up enquiries. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Danny Price and his Team did a thorough job in Surveying this property for me. I as happy other the cost as they went through every nook and cranny. They gave good advice as to what Council Certificates the property required and any building repairs needed. Would recommend if you want a thorough survey and fast Report.

Very poor quality and service
Very poor quality and service. If anyone is looking at commissioning them for RICS level 3 then it's a waste of money and time as in my case they just did a visual inspection and couldn't even differentiate between concrete or bricks while the same was immediately captured by the lender basic valuation survey. Post purchase customer service and complaints process is also just a shamble with no interest in resolving the problem. Forget about refund I didn't even get the corrected report and had to commission another structural engineering report and agree to lenders term as it was too late to negotiate with sellers

We are sorry to read your comments, however we do feel it is important to clarify a number of points.
As stated previously the property has been substantially altered and modernised, including external rendered finishes and later alterations, which can conceal the original form of construction during a non-invasive visual inspection. To the roof structure has also been significantly modified to create additional accommodation, a configuration that is not commonly seen in Easiform built properties again presenting inherent limitations for inspection. An RICS Level 3 survey is a detailed visual inspection, and access to all structural elements is not always possible, particularly where alterations conceal original construction. In relation to construction type, surveyors consider a range of information available at the time of inspection. Whilst EPC data is not relied upon, it is reviewed alongside other sources, and in this instance neighbouring properties were also recorded as standard construction, which is a relevant contextual factor. As stated last week the report will be amended and sent over to you.
With regard to your comments on service and the complaints process. Your concerns were reviewed in line with our formal procedures, and we responded accordingly.
