Atrocious- Novotel Broad Street Birmingham. I would describe this hotel as a pig with lipstick on. At first impression as you walk in the reception looks modern and smells lovely. Then the give you a cardboard key for your room and it’s an absolute sty
The rooms were last touched in about 1981 they are absolutely shocking. I am disabled and asked for an accessible room. Which they hadn’t booked and they said we can try and upgrade you to accessible WTAF why is it an upgrade to be disabled? Equality at its best.
We come to Birmingham monthly as we have a business here. I cannot express how bad the rooms are the sheets and quilt don’t fit the bed the TV is so old you have to have it on full blast just to hear it. The corridors and rooms are all a shocking brown colour it’s so dated they still have woodchip wall paper.
Hardly any sockets in the room and the WiFi is. None existent. 2 nights we’ve been here and it is by far the worst hotel in Birmingham.
This even makes the travel lodge look appealing. The staff are lovely but I think that’s because they are trying to compensate for putting you in a pigsty of a room.
Again I am disabled they gave me room 529 because it has rails in the bathroom. The shower is over the bath. But not at the end where normal showers are placed in the middle of the bath screwed to the wall. I wasn’t even able to shower myself because it was unsafe my husband has had to shower me. Dignity out of the windows and no F***s given in this hotel.
It’s over priced as the same as Leonardo across the road which even though the staff are terrible it’s streets ahead of this dump.
Breakfast is entertaining NO granola and they have put wheetabix and rices crispies in a jar to make them look more appealing.
We’ve paid almost £500 for a two night stay with breakfast and all we’ve had is 4 slices of toast and jam. The jam is like baby food it’s absolutely disgusting
We will never stay here again the room is rusty and dirty the travel lodge rooms are better.
Please please don’t waste your money here go else where or perhaps try the streets they are more up to date and comfortable

Because we went to watch linkin park at Wembley stadium on saturday 28th june 2025.The room was very nice and the breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice.The staff are very friendly and helpful.If you need to get around book an uber.Overall a nice hotel to stay at.

ITS IS SHAMEFUL THAT NOVOTEL HOSTS THIS ATM TO SCAM THEIR OWN GUESTS. $235 USD WORTH OF BRAZILIAN CURRENCY COST ME $600 USD, AND MY BANK CHARGES 0.00 INTERNATIONAL ATM FEES.. I AM EXCEPTIONALLY ANGRY YOU CONTINUE TO CHEAT YOUR OWN GUESTS BY PARTNERING WITH UNETHICAL PEOPLE TO TARGET THOSE WHO TRUST YOU. I AM DEDICATED TO LEAVE WARNINGS ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM POSSIBLE, UNTIL THIS NO LONGER BOTHERS ME. I ASSUME THEY SAW WRAPPERS OF OUR OWN PURCHASED ITEMS FROM ACROSS THE STREET AT THE FUEL STATION (500% CHEAPER). I WILL DELIVER THE SNACK BAR SCAM ITEMS TO THE FRONT DESK TO AVOID THIS, NEXT TIME. THE ROOMS ARW DESIGNED FOR 2 BEDS, BUT THEY CRAM IN ANOTHER BED, LEAVING NO FLOOR SPACE FOR SUITCASES. Novotel Stansted
Novotel Stansted. Wow, such a splendid experience! We stayed overnight 10th June 2025 and used the car ‘stay over’ for 4 days.
Every interaction with the staff was first class . Oumaima at reception, the catering manager was absolutely first class and the food enjoyable.
The room was comfortable and extra efforts throughout. (Bernardo in finding a good car parking place and helping with subsequent need to have keys available to garage for car collection- excellent).
Sara as ‘captain’ had energy and that ‘extra step’ attitude to help make everything a treat !! Well done team.

Coffee at Novotel Kolkata
I travel to the Novotel Kolkata on a regular basis, the staff here are wonderful, polite and extremely accommodating, I had a snack in the coffee area and was served by Ankita and Santanu, both were extremely polite and helpful, it was a very pleasant experience.
No accessible room
I booked a stay at Novotel Coventry M6. I booked an Accessible room as I have a problem with my leg.
I was shocked to be given a normal room with facilities that I cannot use.
Furthermore, on the morning of checkout, housekeeping open my bedroom door before my checkout time TWICE, even though there was a no do disturb sign on the door.
Very poor experience. I expect more from such a chain, especially around customer accessibility needs.

Just had an afternoon tea at Novotel Greenwich very disappointing it felt like they had forgotten our booking and quickly put something together. Although the food was ok it wasn't special and when I cut a scone it was hard I thought I gad broken the plate. Definitely not worth the money
Novotel Brickell... A fabulous stay
We stayed at the Novotel Brickell in Miami before boarding a Cruise Ship. The hotel was fabulous. Staff very friendly and polite. The rooms were spacious and clean. Unfortunately didn't use the rooftop bar or had food,, but I'm sure it would have great seeing the standard of the hotel that we saw

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay at your hotel from April 2nd to April 4th, 2025.
During my stay, I used the iron provided in my room, which unfortunately malfunctioned and caused significant damage to my shirt.I am requesting compensation for the damaged shirt, I trust that Novotel Ipswich values its guests and will address this issue promptly.
disappointed of services
I was so disappointed of the dining experience we had at the Novotel Edinburgh today. I had purchased a voucher for a special occasion, my husband’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations.
To begin with, we ordered a Caesar salad but received a different salad with tomatoes instead. When we brought this to the staff's attention, the mix-up was acknowledged. The waitress fixed the mistake, but when we got our Caesar salad, it did not include the chicken, which was a key component of the dish. We were disappointed…
Furthermore, when our main courses arrived, there was another error: My husband did not receive the steak he ordered, and the dish that came was not what he expected. We didn’t complain about that because at that point, I felt there was no point. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Overall, the service and food quality are below standard. I wish customer service would take this seriously and improve its services.

Recently i made booking in Novotel Zurich Airport messe hotel in zurich
First of all hotel is under rennovation and still they are operating in dirty environment. In booking websites it shown as a 4 star hotel , but this hotel not even eligible for 1 star , reception you have to cellar and they provided only one towel for entire family , when we asked answer is limited availability , i never saw this kind of hospitality in 4 star hotel , it is just like student or traveller dormitory with premium price . Break fast also not as per novotel standards
Booked a trip to Paris through Gate 1…
Booked a trip to Paris through Gate 1 and the Novotel Vaugirard Montparnasse was our hotel. Luggage storage was a restroom. We had to open our luggage in hallway near elevator. Our floor flooded before we got into our floor. We were then placed on that same moldy smelly floor, with no option to be moved. Other travelers stuck in elevator for 1.5 hrs. If you wanted to use stairs they went through a storage area scary, and you would need someone to guide you. The desk person on 2/28/25 around 8 am on arrival was rude and not helpful (white female). Jeffrey (black male) another front desk staff person responded to me “like I told you”. No way to talk to anyone. We were just trying to get some English speaking channels on TV. Customer service by these 2 was awful. Gate 1 has a choice and so do customers.
Novotel Hotel Auckland New Zealand International Airport
A recent experience left me extremely disappointed. I booked a room at Novotel near Auckland International Airport in New Zealand through a booking agency bookingdotcom and, two hours later, realized I had mistakenly selected the wrong date. When I contacted Novotel for assistance to change the date on my booking, they redirected me to call the booking company—whose provided phone number is based in the Netherlands—even though I was in New Zealand. I couldn’t get hold of the booking company, and Novotel refused to help change the booking date. As a result, I was forced to forfeit the full amount for the original booking and pay again for a new reservation. This experience reflects very poorly on Novotel, and I am deeply disappointed by their unhelpful and rip-off behavior.

Central reservation team booked the wrong dates and then argued and refused to help even though the call was recorded. Daughters birthday wknd was ruined and no one cared at Accor/Novotel. Disgraceful. Worst customer care I’ve ever known. So many other hotel options be wise and chose a better one than we did!

I booked the liverpool novotel for 21 june 2025. As i brought tickets to see Billy Joel in concert the same day at Anfield.
The concert has been cancelled due to billy joel having life changing surgery.
So i no longer need the above hotel, i contacted the to explain whats happened ?

Nice hotel ruined by breakfast experience
The Novotel Leme hotel is located one block away from one end of the copacabana, which works well. Reception is good and rooms comfortable. Everything falls apart at breakfast. The food itself is fine. But the breakfast room is a chaotic place. Finding a table a challenge, with guests clearing previous guests table debris themselves. In 3 days there only once were there glasses for juice available, so folk were taking coffee mugs for juice.. and yes..2 mins later there are no coffee cups for coffee. Finding cutlery is hit and miss, and locating a clean bowl for cereal or fruit nigh on impossible. As people leave breakfast the comments overheard are this is insane, this is chaotic.
Breakfast spoils what is otherwise a nice hotel.
extra payment for breakfast and noisy cleaning work till late night
I had a recent stay at Novotel Hammersmith London. I have paid for my breakfast for 2 days. Apparently the hotel took payment for 2 persons per day for breakfast money, whereas the booking was only for 1 person. I was waiting for the deposit to come back to my account. And the return amount didn't look right. When I called the reception and I was told it has deducted payment for 2 persons breakfast for 2 days in advance. So I have paid £30 extra for no reason. This was not mentioned beforehand. I paid the breakfast money along with my deposit and realised when the deposited money was returned back.
Also I would like to highlight that the cleaning activities of floors above my room have continued till late night 11pm for continuously 2 nights. I woke up by the loud noise from upstairs and went up to check and found the cleaning team were on duty at that late night. I have spoken to other occupiers and had the same noise issue and dissatisfaction heard from them. I had to struggle with my sleep and also needed to wake up early for my course and definitely the noise didn't help me get a good sleep.
