Pricing is absolute ripoff

I joined up to now to through EE as they sold me a deal that sounded very good.
I got home and signed in to discover that you do not get all content yo have to choose from 4 packages each costing £9.99 each and it’s not 4k and and only stereo sound with ads .
if you want the privilege of 4k surround sound with no ads it will cost you another £6 pound per package!!
Absolute ripoff!!!

Fraud company

Fraud company. Careful, they don't respect uk consumer laws and think of themselves as more than a streaming platform to justify taking your money. Order cancelled one week after purchase and they keep charging my card. Their email addresses online don't work and their chatbox is an AI bot. Had to raise a complaint against them to my bank and will send a copy to ofcom.

Unfair price increase mid deal

On 7th April 2025 Now TV emailed me offering me six months of Sky Sports for £29.99 per month, for which I had previously been paying £27.
They applied this to my account without any action on my part.

Then, three weeks later, on 15th May 2025, they emailed me offering me six months of Sky Sports for £31.99 per month.
Again, applied to my account without any action from me.

I still had over five months left at £29.99 but they increased the price to £31.99 when I was less than a month into that offer.

So I tried to complain. Complaint form only allows 150 characters. Even with 150 characters the form errored when submitting, so I went on the "chat bot" and went into a loop of "this does not answer my query" & "cancel chat".

I am torn between cancelling and sending them a registered letter. They would presumably ignore a letter.

NOW tv Day Pass. Waste of money

The app was hopeless for NOW TV Day Pass. My money went through but I could not login. The screens were repeated.
When I eventually got onto the match the sound went off and stayed off soi watched with no commentary.
I am extremely annoyed

Worst tech support in the business.

They discontinued LG TV app and now I can only watch on my laptop. I asked for support for linking to my TV with HDMI and was told this wasn't supported. Their support service took ages to reply, and then they only sent me template replies telling me to read their more than useless website. Corporate cynicism at its worst.

Purchased for the F1 season but the replays of the Qualifying and races are not available for 24 hours after event ??? It's quicker to watch on channel 4 and costs you nothing.

I subscribe to the SKY sports app.
NOW have just upgraded their app to become almost unusable. I only want to be able to get to Sky sports guide but it has now been merged in with everything else and very difficult to see what the viewing options are.
It wasn't great before this 'upgrade' but at least you could go directly to Sky sports and see a guide of current live sports only programmes and choose. I'm seriously considering unsubscribing from NOW as it is becoming just too much trouble trying to manoeuvre through the crap. Suggest you sack the idiot who designed this upgrade and get someone more practical.

This should be minus 5 - Now TV Broadband is useless

This should be minus 5. My mum passed away and getting the department that deals with this to call you back is impossible. They really don't care. The broadband has been cut off, we only want to switch it into my dads name and update payment information but now my OAP dad has no internet and cannot do anything. They've had 5 phone calls and each time they promise to call back, no phone call comes, they've even promised a call in half an hour, obviously its been and gone. He is lost with my mum and he's lost with out any internet. I'm looking elsewhere for him a contract and when my broadband deal is up for renewal I'll be looking elsewhere. It doesn't help that they don't have anyone in the UK so they don't understand or appreciate the circumstances. Avoid Now TV, even if it costs a little more, the better service will definately be worth it.

Scammers. I cancelled my subscription 4 months ago and I’m still being billed. Tried everything to contact the to no avail. There is no number nor email to contact. The chat box doesn’t work.

Unreliable connection

Unreliable connection. Drops out every evening and I have to use my I phone hotspot. This morning not working again. Just waiting for my contract to end as contacting them is almost impossible.

Customer service is a farce.

I’m trying to renew my contract but it’s been an appalling experience. None of the choices provided seem appropriate so eventually I got through to a customer services man. He spoke so quickly and with such a pronounced accent I was constantly asking him to repeat himself which made me feel guilty. I told him I would call back later but less than 5 minutes later he called me which stressed me out. Round and round we went. I want to renew the day before my contract ends so I don’t lose what I’ve already paid for but he is insisting I do it a month early to get a lower price.
I’m posting this in frustration but I know no-one from customer services will deal with the issues I’ve raised. Why should they? They have millions of customers and do not care if some of them are unhappy.

I cancelled sky sports on now TV on the 13/1/25. But they still took my payment out on the 21/1/25 I've tried to get in touch on their automated message system nowbot but all I get is sorry we don't understand so i cannot get in touch because they don't have a telephone service so im finding it hard to get my refund

Further to my struggles with Now TV…

Further to my struggles with Now TV Although I have been filling in their complaints forms since 20/12/24 I still have not had any satisfactory response from this company. Filling in their complaints forms results in an email from them saying' as we haven't heard from you we are closing the case'. They have denied that I phoned and renewed my contract before Christmas and so seem to be able to take £38 on the direct debit without investigating. Well I have every intention of complaining to the CISAS if they continue to deny my phone call. I am waiting NowTV !
