Weak Service & Dont Trust Account manger of Odoo SH or Online

I make subscription since 3 month and I pay more the 350 USD and still my Website it's not running because of:
1. In Middle East How's it going the programmer give you limited access
2. Odoo Store all produts are 3rd party Which They reply We cannot recommend Someone safe and trust, why?
3. I bought product from OODO store & it is not working for many reasons. like example (one product require other app to work when I install it require to use Odoo.sh 18 & 19 same time in one data base) which is not possible
4. Other problems, you cant upload more than one photos on the products
5.you cant calculate Total payment without paying subscription because sometime you need to 3rd party or odoo force you to Increase your requirement service and that will increase subscription fees.
6. very weak support team my example (after subscription Two or three months Odoo is not responding & they change Account Manager so you don't know to whom contact)
7. be aware in their policy terms you can't cancel subscription especially in Odoo.sh
8. there are more disadvantage points i will inform in future.

Regarding website development and technical setup, Odoo works with an official network of certified partners who can support you with implementation, configuration, and custom development. For projects requiring specific integrations or advanced adjustments, working with a partner is often the most effective way to ensure your website runs properly, especially if you are not at ease with software configuration.

Concerning the Odoo App Store, it is primarily composed of third-party applications developed and maintained by independent publishers. These apps are not developed by Odoo prior to publication. The responsibility for functionality, compatibility and support lies with the respective developer. When issues arise, users should first contact the app publisher directly. Odoo may step in to mediate if no resolution can be found and all reasonable solutions have been exhausted.

Regarding the rest of your points, we invite you to contact us directly with your database details and ticket references so we can analyze the situation thoroughly and work toward a concrete solution.

Have to agree with a lot of the…

Have to agree with a lot of the comments.
This ERP is A VERY STEEP LEARNING CURVE.
Their promo materials and videos make it look easy IT ISN'T.
Onboarding data is an absolute pain in the backside!
Every other ERP simply lets you upload the data and is inteligent enough to auto create companies too, and the appropriate relationships.
NOT ODOO
You have to import companies first, then attach the individuals to the companies.
I like what Odoo promises on their marketing material but after 4 separate attempts to get data into the system cleanly, I've given up.
Vtiger, Hubspot, Zoho and Salesforce let you upload data once without a ton of errors.
If Odoo could sort this one absolutely horrible process for a user, I am confident they will secure more new customers.
As it stands, due to the high level of complexity, I had no choice but to end the testing and its a real shame as I wanted to use it.
The customer support is none-existent too; they simply do not get back to you which adds a further layer of frustration.
When they sort out the two niggles above, I would be happy to try again but as it stands, the data import tool sucks as it is error prone when no otehr CRM has the same issues...

I can complete in Hubspot and Vtiger in one hour that took 4 straight days in Odoo. Save yourself a headache and consider something else.

Took a while to figure out how the…

Took a while to figure out how the system works, not as intuitive as I expected. Support was hit or miss, sometimes fast, sometimes nothing for days. Once you get past the learning curve it does the job, but don't expect it to be plug and play.

The first time I registered with Odoo…

The first time I registered with Odoo for free in 2025, I got an email and a call from a dedicated and local to me, customer service / Account manager person to provide support with the onboarding. I though it was very generous from their business, providing I was a free account testing the platform.

Their Ai element inside the App to answer basic funtionality questions works incredible well... and today..
Because I am so pleased with how easy has been to integrate the crm into my business... I wanted to change my Login details into a more permanent email address (the one I use google calendar for, etc).. I got connected directly and very promptly with a Customer Assistant HUMAN! Lan Nguyen, whom rised the Ticket and sort out my request within the same afternoon...

It WOuld be amazing if their "contacts" tab/app could sync with google contacts... instead you have to do a import/export manually with -csv files... which is a bit of a pain and not ideal becuase of the template, etc.. BUT HEY! THIS IS FREE RIGHT!!!? can´t complain.

About the experience...
FAST, EFFICIENT, exactly what the future of companies need. I have recommended Odoo to people I know and It will be my first choice in the future for other business aplications, their service does make a difference!

Absolutely Horrendous

Didn't receive what I paid for. Anti-consumer practices including a strict no refund policy which is refused tooth and nail when you don't receive what you paid for. Any staff support takes their sweet time. Numerous hidden costs— including staff support costs sold separately and ridiculously overpriced. False advertising— the platform is advertised without showing the complexity or advanced mess that is all the settings and configurations that require deep knowledge or a steep learning curve and constant maintenance. Paid for the highest plan. Didn't get what I paid for. Have been stuck in the trial for the entire billing cycle. Manager never got back to me when I asked for a manager and was informed that a manager would reach back to me. Will not spend another penny on Odoo ever again.

Once access to the platform has been granted and the subscription period has started, the service cannot be “returned” like a physical product. For this reason, refunds are not part of our policy once the service is active, which is standard practice for digital subscription software.

Concerning support, response times can vary depending on the complexity of the issue and overall ticket volume. Some requests require deeper technical investigation before a proper answer can be provided. Support is included in all paid Enterprise plans and is not sold separately. You may be referring to Success Packs, which are optional implementation service hours designed to assist with setup, training, or onboarding. These are separate from standard technical support.

Odoo is a complete and modular business suite. Its flexibility allows companies to structure a wide range of processes within one system, but this can feel complex if there is not a clear vision of how workflows should be organized from the start. We generally encourage customers to use Odoo as designed — “out of the box” — rather than trying to replicate every detail of a previous system with complex custom flows. The One App Free plan is a permanent offer that allows you to use one official Odoo app for free, without time limitation, as long as no additional apps or paid features are installed. A free trial, on the other hand, is time-limited and gives temporary access to multiple applications for evaluation purposes. Once the trial period ends, access to paid features is restricted unless a subscription is activated.

Access is not removed without notice, reminder emails are typically sent before a trial expires. If additional apps were installed during the trial, the database would require a paid subscription to continue running with those features.

Don't waste your time with Odoo...

Don't waste your time with Odoo... most people who recommend it are being paid a referral fee... the support is extremely slow and almost non-existent in my experience and the services are slow and difficult to learn... I have wasted hundreds on dollars on Odoo and hope you don't make the same mistake.

I paid for a product which is not working

I paid for a basic product (appointment calendar) and it is not working. The client service is shitty : once you’ve paid they do not answer you anymore. I am now stuck for my freelance professional activity because my patients can not book an appointment.

Great MFG implementation

We had a fantastic experience working with Andrew on implementation. He took the time to learn our processes and helped us determine the best ways to utilize Odoo for our unique manufacturing situation. Odoo as a platform has exceeded my expectations and has so many out of the box features and allows for automations or custom actions that can extend it beyond standard operations. Do not expect the implementation to be done for you, there was still a ton of work put in by our team to ensure success, but we certainly felt like we had a great partner in the process and are quite happy with the resulting system.

Funny how they say ''make an easy website'', and then they make the website for you. They drop a random adress on ''your site'', everyone that visits your site sees your phone number, adress and e-mail. You can't change that. Odoo, what is this?

The AI does not generate a fixed or locked website. It creates a first draft based on the information provided by the user (type of business, objectives, pages needed, brand identity, etc.). Every element of the website can be reviewed, edited and customized before publication, and of course fully modified at any time after the website is live as well.

The AI is designed to save time and provide a solid starting point, not to replace user control or creativity. Content, structure, visuals, and branding remain entirely editable, just like any other Odoo website.

Never was able to upload our customer…

Never was able to upload our customer files from Zoho or our CRM. We are a software company and have implementation specialists. We told the sales rep this was a deal breaker and was told they would get it to work shortly after we signed up.. We were going to do month to month starting Dec 5th but, the rep talked our president into a 1 year contract. He Slid a no refunds clause in there. President signed contract on Dec 5th. Paid for the whole year. All of the sudden they wouldn't help me import our data unless we paid for implementation. Kept getting errors on account name. Asked for a full refund on Dec 10 verbally and Dec 15th in email format. They refuse to refund our money to this day. Still billing us and we had to go back to Zoho on Dec 20th or we wouldn't have had a CRM the past 2 months to use. Would not recommend this CRM company to any business at this point. Your reply is dishonest as you have refunded several customers. Also your sales rep and manager are aware of the errors and we were told that they would not help us when we called In to support as we didn't purchase an implementation pkgs. We will keep filing complaints and dispute charges ongoing. There is also two ongoing complaints with the BBB.

After reviewing the situation internally, we could not find any submitted support ticket related to the import issue. Our team did request additional technical information in order to investigate the errors you mentioned, but we did not receive the requested details. Without the necessary files, logs, or clarification on the error messages, it is not possible to properly diagnose or resolve an import problem.

Data import from other systems (including CRM platforms) is possible in Odoo using standard import tools. We also provide detailed documentation and tutorials explaining the import process, file structure, and common validation rules. When errors occur (for example on account name formatting), they are typically linked to file structure or field mapping and can be resolved once the relevant information is provided.

Regarding refunds, Odoo is a software subscription service. Once access to the platform has been granted and the subscription activated, it cannot be “returned” like a physical product. Subscriptions can be stopped according to contractual terms, but refunds are not part of our policy once the service period has started.

If you would like to resume the import investigation, we remain available, provided the requested information is submitted so the case can be reviewed factually.
