Beautiful rug
We received some great advice when choosing a rug, and although the delivery process was a bit confusing Georgiana was also really helpful with this element. Needless to say the rug is beautiful and a bonus is that it arrived ahead of schedule

The OKA Harrogate store is a credit to the company. Last week I ordered some cutlery which was out of stock online, so I rang up to see if they were able to deliver it from store - which they were. Zoe was super helpful, lovely to chat to and very efficient… she sorted payment easily and then packaged up my order brilliantly which arrived quickly. Taking advantage of the sale I’ve now just placed another order which Zoe and Louisa have helped me with - again nothing too much trouble and genuinely a delight to shop with. They’ve gone out of their way to ensure I’ve had a good experience, to the point where I’d actually make that my first port of call rather than using the website from now on. Thank you guys - you’re brilliant.

Not a friendly shop
Very disdainful staff in the Harrogate shop. Worked at their own pace (2 of them fawning around one customer with no interest in me!!) Couldn’t help me with some prints that I liked but offered to order them with an extra £50 for delivery. I’ve bought lots of lovely items over quite a few years, but I feel this may be my last purchase. I’ll look for different prints elsewhere. Disappointing.

We have just ordered some new furniture from Oka - again. Since they shut the Edinburgh store, it has been difficult, but with the help of ChatGPT we found what we were looking for.

The Harrogate store is well laid out and inspirational and I usually find what I’m looking for. However, I find the staff to be quite unfriendly and generally not very welcoming.

BRILLIANT OKA SERVICE IN HARROGATE
I have been a customer of Oka since they started the company. They are a brilliant company particularly the Harrogate store. The staff are brilliant and have been so since the store opened. Yesterday I went there and was served by Carole and Zoe who knew exactly what I needed and were kind enough to wrap the stuff carefully and take it to the car. Great service Zoe and Carole. Thanks for your kindness and knowledge of products also thanks for your recommendations which come from knowing your customer and customer retention which is so important these days as the online shops try to catch up. Always a pleasure to visit
Michelle and Emma always make our shopping experience in Harrogate's OKA branch, a pleasure. They're both warm and friendly and always go out of their way to help us find what we're looking for. We love to browse round the shop but more often than not, we end us buying something because everything is so beautiful.
