They try to bill me for a renewal of a domain already moved away
This happened for 5 different domains, for a crazy request of 346,43€
The helpdesk says the domain transfer doesn't end the subscription because there can be other services related, but they were only domain names and they tried to charge me for that, no other services.
10/10 I have been using one.com since 2012. Never a problem unsolved. I am preparing to a simpler life and the I got all the help I needed in a few minutes by the agent. all is good again.

We where charged for a different and much more expensive plan than we had for years.
one.com claims we upgraded the plan ourselves, but we did not and we would never as it was not a needed upgrade for us.
Been a customer with one.com for more than 15 years, but customer loyalty makes no difference. No refund, no compensation, not even an understanding customer care agent.
Now we will have to move our hosting and email to a company that is not actively trying to grab money from their customers for insane plan changes and crazy fees. Dont get me started on their 9 USD fee to support older versions of PHP... You are a Wordpress hoster - it should be included.

Customer Service is good, but their prices are getting higher and higher each year, I dont want to give one start due to their good customer service but if it keeps happen I might change the review and move some other provider.
We have been a One.com customer for more than 16 years. Recently, One.com started charging us for PHP Extended Support, even though our website is hosted on Squarespace and we have never used PHP, email hosting, or web hosting services from One.com.
The most frustrating part is that it is extremely difficult to get hold of customer service, and there is no clear way to resolve the issue. We feel that unnecessary services are being added and billed without sufficient transparency.
As a result, we will be moving our domain to another provider.
EDIT: Following my review, one.com contacted us and helped resolve the issue promptly. I appreciate the assistance and have updated my rating from 1 to 3 out of 5 stars. While I still believe customer support should be more accessible and easier to reach, I am pleased with how this matter was handled once contact was established.

I've been a long-time, loyal customer of One.com, but over the past 7 or 8 years, they seem to have become very greedy. Each year they have increased the price, not just by a small, understandable amount but by quite large leaps. This year, the price for the Guru plan has increased by £57.60 per year. Up from 274.64 to £332.24. This disproportionate increase seems to happen every 2 to 3 years.
I've stuck with them for so long because I like the simple layout and ease of use, but that's become more complex of late as the company tries to get you to purchase add-ons, for example, rather than one.com automatically updating the PHP to the latest version, they sent an invoice for £7.99 per month for them to maintain the slightly older version of PHP. It is something that can easily be overlooked because the PHP upgrade used to be done automatically, and when you have 7 or 8 websites, this can add up to a considerable amount.
I was hoping the price increases would settle down, but it looks like greed has got the better of this once-excellent company. The relentless annual price increases have made it too unpredictable.
Unfortunately, I think I will now have to look elsewhere for a hosting package.
I think they are using the Ring (Amazon) business model: moderate prices at first, then, once you have your customers, massively increase prices while reducing services.
Very sad.
