I had an accident when a tree branch landed on my car in 2021 i was taken to hosp car was a write off i got paid out £666 for the car an had to pay policy back £514 I got £154 for my car in all I got no injuries payout they refused to make the land owner pay up nearly 5 yrs later I am still paying this off an no payment for injuries
There no worth it i didn't hit the tree it hit me while driving on a main Rd

My husband has a ongoing claim with one call claims when accident happened paper work pictures sent etc now they have that information I haven’t heard anything from them I was supposed to hear from the repair people for the car to be assessed within 5 working days that is up haven’t heard anything I was asked if I wanted to be kept updated I said yes I did so we knew what was happening but nothing since they took our information which was about a week ago when I ring they say they can’t talk about on going claims so I don’t know how I’m supposed to know what is happening I look in the portal to see if that has been updated but nothing there either

Awful claims process
The reporting of my claim was easy. I did it as soon as I got home and was very shaken. 4 weeks later I’m waiting for a valuation of my vehicle as it’s been written off. The TP insurers have accepted liability. Nothing is happening! I can’t speak to anyone, the portal doesn’t work, emails and live chat are terrible. I have raised a complaint, they say they have 8 weeks to investigate! I just would like this resolved and someone to sort it! I am fully comp after all. I wouldn’t recommend insuring your vehicle with them. The claims process is poor. It’s been extremely stressful and continues to be!

From the first phone call everything has been excellent they dropped a hire car off and picked mine up the driver rang when he was 20 minutes away and the same dropping my car back and picking up the hire car the customer service throughout was excellent always keeping me informed about what was happening and the staff have been very helpful throughout
