Such a humiliating experience! I created an account a long time ago, spent so much time completing all the tests and applying to jobs, and then one day my account was blocked. I tried contacting them for more than two weeks, with no reply whatsoever. Nobody will give me that time back, and I strongly advise you to not sign up. Look for better options, with better reviews. I am astonished at how they are still allowed to exist as a company.

This is the type of place that is trying to HURT YOU! Do not TRUST THEM!!! Asking for passports and lot's of information and website is shady and strange. Asking for too much. Just look at the reviews. Be very careful.

I had an account with OneForma and took a couple of certifications. Then when I tried to login one day, my VPN was on, and because of that my account was disabled. I contacted THREE different people at OneForma and not a single one of them were interested in helping me out. In fact, they just ignored me!
I wouldn't waste my time with this "company". They're obviously not a serious business.
No, I can't contact you on SM as I don't use it. Why don't you tell your employees to respond to either of my emails instead? There was no information anywhere on your website about my account being disabled if I use VPN. So why don't you issue a warning first, instead of just disabling the account immediately? How can anyone be expected to follow your rules if we don't know what the rules are? And then you punish us for something we had no knowledge of... Not very professional if you ask me.

Unfair Treatment After 6 Months of Work and Identity Verification

After working with them for over six months, and providing sensitive personal documents such as my passport for identity verification, I was suddenly removed from a project with an unfounded accusation of "suspicious activity." This decision was made without any clarification.
Many freelancers like myself have experienced long periods where we were forced to wait months for new tasks, all while remaining committed to the project. Despite the inconsistencies, I completed my work as required, only to be accused of "malicious performance" when it came time for payment. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue with Centific, as many freelancers are reporting similar mistreatment—being removed from projects without proper explanation or compensation.
This unprofessional approach and lack of transparency are incredibly frustrating, especially after sharing sensitive personal information and dedicating months of work. Centific’s treatment of freelancers is concerning, and it raises serious questions about their practices.
If you are considering working with Centific, I urge you to be cautious. The way they handle project terminations and avoid paying for completed work is unfair, and many freelancers are facing the same issues.

Completely impossible to actually connect a Payoneer account if you're not a US resident. I initially blamed Payoneer themselves but they have been KIND ENOUGH TO CALL ME and try to troubleshoot it. Meanwhile Oneforma ignores my emails to their correct payment resolution address.
Also, there's a thriving trade on FB where people buy and sell verified accounts thanks to this artificial barrier. How's this encouraging actually hiring good specialists?

Update March 25th 2025: Following this, I've got an answer from Oneforma Global: Again giving me the bs about their payment cycle between 10th and 20th. Today is the 25th and even if oneforma global guarantee that I will be paid in March, still nothing.
* Canadians: oneforma is looking for Canadians but payoneer won't give you an account. So oneforma won't pay you more than 300$ by paypayl. This is the catch. Stay away! don't waste your precious time!
I've worked many hours during December Holidays. I've shared personal text for a project. Oneforma owes me 900$US - status ready to be paid and I don't receive any payment after 2 months. Also their link with payoneer is questionnable. Payoneer won't accept my account for some obscur reason they won't share with me. So, as per oneforma, I can't get paid over 300$ by paypal. I've send and created many tickets with support, nobody reads them. This is a total waste of time and headaches. Very disapointing because I enjoyed doing that kind of work. To add to the insult, they keep sending me emails to participate in other projects!

I worked on their translation project, and the pay was shockingly low considering the professional-level quality they expected. I’ve worked with local companies that pay three times their rate. On top of that, their review process seems questionable at best—more like an excuse to cut payments even further. If you value your time and expertise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I'm starting to think this company is a scam. I've done many certification and surveys. I've probably been signed up for 2 months. I get emails for jobs often but cannot apply to them as my account has been flagged for vpn. Everytime I contact support via email I get the same automated responses. I've checked my side I only use one device on my personal internet connection with no VPN. But nothing. And no further assistants. I don't think there is any human available. Based on these reviews I will probably close my account and consider this a scam and create some sort of awareness to it.

OneForma offers self-employed contractors/freelancers so-called "competitive rates" of USD 11 per hour for highly skilled machine translation post-editing work. You need to be a native English speaker based in the UK to do this work.
USD 11/hr (GBP 8.72) is significantly less than the UK National Living Wage, which is currently GBP 11.44/hr (rising to GBP 12.21 from 1 April 2025).
This doesn't even take into account the self-employed person's obligation to pay income tax, national insurance, pension contributions, expenses (that new laptop, lifelong learning costs, etc.).
The result of a rough calculation of how much a self-employed person would earn in real terms, after deducting ONLY the equivalent of the income tax, national insurance and pension contribution obligations normally deducted at source by an employer, WITHOUT INCLUDING the cost of running a business is just:
5.08 GBP/hour
This is a SCANDAL!

The service is visually appealing, but this doesn't cover up its significant issues. The biggest problem with the company is their support, which seems nonexistent. Despite numerous attempts to contact them through their provided emails (contact@ and account-review@), I have never received any response.
The first issue I encountered was when my login button stopped working. I sent a message to their support but never got a reply. After randomly trying the site a few weeks later, it worked again. However, more recently, the site flagged my account for "suspicious activity." I have no idea why, as I don't use VPNs or anything else that should cause problems. The only thing that changed was my internet service provider, but everything is fine on their end.
I have sent support requests to both emails mentioned above but received no response. Seeing that other users face similar problems and given the generally low reviews, it seems best to stay away from this company. While they do send enticing job offers, the overall experience leaves a sour taste. It almost feels like a scam—my information was collected, but the service itself fails to deliver.

I am extremely disappointed with this company's recent actions. I've worked full time on a project for almost 2 months, then when it was time for payment, no news at all. Communication ceased. No one answered my emails and messages for 2 weeks, then when finally someone agrees to reply to my email, this person accused me of being a cheater, of malicious behavior and of irresponsible actions.
I tried to resolve this issue amicably, providing proof that I am not this person via several exchanges, but this person kept accusing me in each email over a week creating a toxic communication. I provided justification, comments on the work done, precise ids, proof of ID and copies of my diplomas, proof of compliance to the requirements. All of this to finally being informed that my payment was withheld. So, I worked hard for almost two months and as a return, no payment but silence, then insults and nothing.
I've worked with this company for over a year now, and everything was fine up until now. My record can demonstrate that I am an honest hard worker and that I provide services with all my effort, over 8 hours a day, including on weekends.
When contacted via Skype, Teams, email, I've always answered within 24 or 48 hours, I've always kept communication open, even if I wasn't working on a project. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for some of the PMs who seem to only answer when they need you. I also reported some connection issue to one of the client's platform several times, raised questions about some tasks but no answer at all.
I have heard from other freelancers who have had similar experiences with unpaid work on this platform, but haven't really thought about it, until I personally experienced it... This is a massive disappointement and impacted my trust in Centific's ability to treat its freelancers fairly and professionally.
Update 03/24/2025: - emails sent to contact [at] oneforma.com for a notice of dispute.
- PO disputed, nothing has been resolved, the informal dispute resolution as per Section 8.2 of the agreement is a joke.
I've been answered with automatic emails and then they said they lost previous chain of emails.
No effort nor good faith collaboration was made to resolve the conflict, I'm encountering refusal to provide detailed payment calculation to prove there was no malicious behavior and silence since I've last requested for the third time.

I spend 4 hours on quizzes and received 0$ as no tasks available (studied and passed them all). I have 18 certifications passed on the portal and they are useless. 0 communication about the dates, available work or score after the exam.
Waste of time.
Also they have a lot of issues in the portal like links with guideless are not work etc.

Unfortunately I have to report the bad experience I had recently with this company.
I am a hard worker and before that an honest person, and this has always been recognized in all my academic and working experiences. Until now, when I received a treatment I don't deserve it, being accused of something I didn't do it. I've been working for this company for years, and I thought it was a good company where the merits are recognized and the hard work awarded. Yes, there are cons that sometimes you need to face, but it's part of the game. But after all the hard work I did, the effort, the sacrifices, the hours spent studying, passing demanding certifications and delievering high quality work (and all this always with enthusiasm and dedication), they accused me of something I didn't do it, even I don't know it, and moreover not giving me the chance to reply, to talk with someone and being listened and to prove that I didn't do anything, just using standardized email and then ignoring me.
After all the months spent in this project, I was left with this injustice and this really disappoints me, because it's something I don't deserve.
All the good work I've always done for this company isn't worth anything.
And beign treated as something I am not is something I didn't think I could experience in such an international environment like this.
And what makes it worse is that they acted as I wasn't a person, just a number among the others.
They should remember that behind that pc there is a human being.
So I had to reconsider my opinion of this company.
I can't accept it because I didn't do anything but they don't care, they are always right and you are wrong. I regret this situation and I feel like a fool who spent all this time working professionally to receive such a behaviour.
If this is the result of having always worked so hard and professionally, it's a massive disappointment.

I attended MilkyWay Project, omg such a waste of time. They expect you to study some really long documents with lots of details. Then you take two exams with 70/100 score threshold. If you are able to pass those two exams you take the final one via TryRating expected score of 85/100. It’s so easy to fail with that too many details. They expect you to evaluate a map accuracy even if it is not your home country. You put so much hope and effort without payment and getting nothing. Highly, hugely not recommended.

Hello World!
I have created an account, did some surveys and tooks some certification tests successfully on the platform. It was good. However, one day unknowingly I had a VPN on and tried to log in but I got disabled.
From that day on, I have sent a ton of emails and messages to the LinkedIn page of the platform, but there is no support system actaully as it seems.
Given that I recieved a job this morning on the platform and need to log in to my account to begin, but I do not have access to my account, it made me think that there is not actually support system. It took 10 emails and 7 days of my issue, but there is no response yet.
