Unbeatable customer service!

I have been staying in rented homes for over 10 years now and no other company has come even close to Poplar's customer service. I get responses back the same day and issues get rectified quickly.

Unethical at best

We used onerent to rent a place in Seattle. It was the worst experience. They do a lot to get you to apply and sign the lease. Really aggressive tactics and are unethical.

After we signed the lease, I was contacted by one rent that there was an update made to the lease agreement which they represented was just an update on how we pay rent. Come to find out that the lease stated that the landlord was on the hook to pay for water, garbage and the updated lease tried to make water and garbage our responsibility as tenants. They misrepresented the change and called me rather than my husband that is an attorney to try and get one over on me. This was the beginning of a long list of grievance I have with this company. This is an unethical company, I recommend not to do business with them.

Washer Machine Service Request (Althea Helped!)

I had a washer issue and contacted the Maintenance team from Poplar and Althea was the individual who helped me throughout the process. They allowed me to select my own contractor and get reimbursed on my next months rent! Job well done by Althea and the team for making the process so smooth and seamless. Response times were always quick and I felt like they really listened to my requests. Great Job!

A great place to leave “ Diamond Creek…

A great place to leave “ Diamond Creek Apartments Morgan Hill”.
The entire staff are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. I live here for 3 years and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful apartment.
It was a pleasure working with
Ariane Joy Zamora and Roxanne very nice and responsive to questions and concerns. They both excellent. We would highly recommend you guys to anyone Ye guys have an amazing team! Keep up the great work. Thank you

It took three weeks to replace the…

It took three weeks to replace the stove; which is unacceptable. And no one has followers up after numerous requests for how I will be compensated for my extreme inconvenience.

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns. We’re sorry to hear about your experience.

We sincerely apologize for the delays in addressing your maintenance concern due to unforeseen circumstances such as very limited availability of tech vendors, and back and forth with the owner in acquiring approval of the estimate, and next course of action. Upon further investigation, our team went on to look for a licensed technician who can visit your premises to diagnose the issue, the initial appointment was scheduled on October 26th between 12 pm-2 pm, however, the vendor contacted us to have it rescheduled due to no available tech can take on the job, therefore, advising us to move it on the 28th or 29th. Knowing how urgent the concern was, our team didn’t agree for the appointment to be pushed that far along. Our maintenance team expedited the work order with the said vendor and was able to set the new schedule on the 27th instead. After the tech’s visit, it took them 2 days to deliver us their diagnosis and estimate. After we received and reviewed the report from them, we coordinated with the owner and recommended having the oven replaced with a new unit, considering the cost of the repair. We reached out to you for an update and asked for the stove details and measurements so the owner could place an order for replacement. Finally, the new stove was delivered and installed on November 6th. We also convinced the owner to approve and provide compensation for the days you were unable to use the appliance. The owner agreed to a $150 compensation, which will be deducted from your December rent. There were a few hiccups that resulted in delays, but please know that our team did all we could in the given situation and used all resources to ensure the completion of your maintenance request.

Again, our deepest apologies for the inconvenience. We highly appreciate your honest feedback as it will help us grow and improve from here.

Rest assured that we will strive to deliver better service moving forward and that this won’t happen again. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.
