Nice unit but firms no help
Good price for the refurbished unit I wanted to buy with a reasonable delivery time. However the adhesive pads supplied disintegrated meaning there is no way to fix the mount to the windscreen. There is no practical way (e.g. phone,) to contact Oobuy for help. Garmin no better on phone for over an hour and still not able to speak to someone.

Great experience albeit I had to cancel
Ordered a Garmin Epix via their website using Apple Pay. Got a dispatch notification that afternoon. The tracking number wasn’t working so the following day I reached out to them. Dan replied within an hour to tell me that the order would be delayed by a couple of days due to stock issues. I asked to cancel and he issued a refund very quickly and apologised for the inconvenience. Can’t knock my experience, it’s obviously a shame that the stock is issues hampered things. I can also confirm they are a genuine Garmin seller. I asked Garmin themselves who confirmed it.

This is a fairly long response, I urge you to read it as it speaks volumes regarding the appalling customer experience from this company and demonstrates a staggering disregard for customer service. What company, that represents a quality brand and claims to be professional and customer focused would accuse a customer with a legitimate claim of ' threatening us with false negative reviews if we didn’t pay him a ransom'. This IS a blatant lie ! I did no such thing and I want to set the record straight regarding my subsequent review of oobuy.co.uk. More especially, the response from them after my review. This is a fabrication and complete lie ! I am staggered that the allegedly C.E.O. of the company, Daniel or Sarah ? who's position is unclear, would stoop so low as to make this outrageous statement. I did NOT threaten anyone with false negative reviews, or demand a ransom ! His statement is a blatant lie. These are the facts
1. I purchased the Dezl 1000, July 2023, after reviewing their website, which at the time went out of its way to disguise the fact that all items being sold were refurbished, not new. They have amended the site to reflect this since. I paid £399.99 for it, admittedly a good discount.
2. I had good service from the Garmin unit for 8 months until the unit completely failed. I am an HGV 1 driver and need my sat nav for work.
3. I tried to contact oobuy through their website mail, had no response, I then used their chat bot service, several times but had no response.
As my choice to purchase from oobuy had been in response to a web based advert, plus the fact I had already been scammed by a Chinese company with a similar quality website and service I became suspicious about the location / origin of the company. I thought I was looking at a right off of almost £400 and the prospect of paying for a repair. This is why I wrote the review. It did the trick, as shortly afterwards I had a response from Sarah. Clearly annoyed by my review she pointed out that they are a U.K. based company, trading for 10 years and that the website clearly stated all the goods were refurbished. She also claimed I had not written any e-mails and I had used the chat bot service, which the website invited me to do, at the weekend when they were closed. Pitty the chat bot didn't advise me the service was closed for the weekend, if that were the case why did it encourage me to engage in the conversation?
Confirmation of the company's location and registration was at least relief as it opened me up to a myriad of customer rights under Consumer Law, which would noot have been the case if it were a China based 'Drop and Ship' organisation I feared it was.
Daniel then took up correspondence with me, firstly claiming I had not tried to contact them and that the review was unfair and damaging to their company. His focus was on shifting blame, insinuating I had lied about the attempt to contact. At the end of the e-mail he reluctantly agreed to replace the unit, which I was already entitled to under the guidance of the Consumer Protection legislation I accepted the offer for a replacement.
Some time went by, I had not received any instructions from them on how the replacement / swap was to be conducted. On return to U.K. I contacted them again for details, promises to send the details of the procedure were sent, but never received. Each response included a demand to remove the review from Trust Pilot, before the exchange could be organised. Remember this is my right as a customer, under the Consumer Protection legislation. Had Daniel not effectively held me to ransom over the review, in other words you remove the review and I will do what I am legally required to do, I would have genuinely removed the review and written a much better account of my experience with oobuy.
As I mentioned, I am an HGV 1 driver, a tramper by trade, and a good Sat Nav is a vital tool in my ability to keep myself safe, effecient and reliable. It's not a fancy gadget, I rely on it for my trade. I needed to resolve the matter myself. So, in the end I contacted Garmin Support direct and explained my position. I had a call from customer service to clarify what had happened, provided them with copies of all the e-mail correspondence and they were appalled at the atrocious level of customer care from oodbuy. They immediately sprung into action and replaced my refurbished unit. So, Daniel show me your evidence of the attempted extortion !

I ordered a Garmin Forerunner 935 on a Sunday of a bank holiday weekend.
Received order confirmation email straight away.
Received Royal Mail tracking number on the Monday.
Delivered on the Thursday.
The watch looked and works like new. I have waited a few weeks before reviewing to be sure the battery capacity is ok.
I was fully aware before buying that this was a refurbished item and that it would not come in the original packaging. I am completely satisfied with the item and the service I received.

My Garmin Venu SQ Music arrived very quickly and is in as-new condition. Well packaged, all instructions etc included. As a product, so far I prefer it to the Apple Watch. Thought it was really good value too. All good!

Despite this, the watch arrived with me at midday on Thursday with user manuals and original cable. The condition of the watch is so good, that if I didn't know where it had come from, I could easily have been convinced it was brand new. And at nearly half the RRP.
After originally being a little skeptical, this experience has left me in no doubt that I'd use Oobuy again with hesitation
