I purchased a Garmin watch from the're…

I purchased a Garmin watch from the're ebay shop, it said it was reconditioned, that was OK, told delivery would be 48hrs, 48hrs came and went no communication 🙄, contacted them after 3 days as concerned, no communication from them, went through ebay to resolve twice before reply, no apologies, just thanks for your patience! Told it would be with me in another 3 days! Watch came, no watch box it did say plain box, presumed at least a watch box, no it was in a jiffy bag! Ordered Orchid colour, more lilic not what I wanted, picture showed a dark Orchid. Raised complaint, told me i could keep watch with 10% discount, not what i wanted, asked for refund, they sent to eBay who closed case.
Not a good seller
The seller has now refunded. Thank-you,
yes there was a mis understanding on my behalf , I had raised with ebay that the parcel hadn't be received and they closed the case, but at the same time I raised a return and refund, in-between that been acknowledged with ebay the discussion with the seller was % discount or returned.

Customer opened a not received request instead of a return. eBay close the dispute then the customer proceeded with negative reviews even though we provided returns info.

I was dubious after reading reviews but…

I was dubious after reading reviews but thought I’d give it a go,
Said delivery would be between Wednesday and Friday they sent me tracking number which didn’t work Tuesday they told me it would be with me Friday, Friday comes and they tell me it’s not even arrived in their warehouse yet,
The communication was good but they avoid answering the questions,
Even though they didn’t even know when their delivery was arriving they still tried to tell me what day exactly my item would be with me,
I should have gone with my gut but you live and learn so I asked for a refund which was processed quickly thankfully

Unfortunately there was an error within our stocking system this which which has effected a number of orders. We have as you have said, updated our customers along the way with not two but three emails.

It is very rare that our stocking system has a glitch, but unfortunately it has this time. We offered the compensate this order along with the continuous updates. However, we must accept the negative review for this as although it’s a system error, we are the retailer and we have let you, our customer down which again we cannot apologise enough for.

Charlie sent an out of hours live chat on the website during the bank holiday. Then proceeded to leave a negative review.

We contacted Charlie on the Tuesday for which he realised he hadn’t actually messaged us, and decided he wanted a replacement item so we sent the information across

Good customer service

Oobuy provided a smooth and fast delivery process for my recent purchase. While there was a slight issue with the product received, their customer service team was responsive and offered alternatives to address the issue. Although we couldn't reach an agreement initially, they were understanding and accommodating throughout the communication process. Overall, I appreciate their efforts and commitment to customer satisfaction

don't pay for express delivery!

Having paid £4.99 for express delivery the item arrived 3 days later with the royal mail 48 hour service. After querying this with oobuy, I was informed this was standard practice. The additional postage fee simply ensures they post the next working day and doesn't reflect the delivery service used.

There are two delivery option on the website, standard which is 3-5 working days.

Express which is 1-3 working days.

Neither of the above services do we use specific couriers or methods for as different couriers operate in different areas far better than other couriers. The highlands for example, we use specific couriers for as they guarantee a two day service.

Furthermore, I can see your order arrived on the 2nd working day which falls before the last day of the service you chose?

REFURBISHED !

REFURBISHED !! I didn’t know this until now!! Bought a Garmin Dezl 1000 sat nav in July last year, it’s broken down!! Tried contacting them for returns procedure but have had NO response or acknowledgement. Just tried ‘chat’, again nothing!! Will never use them again, my second issue with a company pretending to be UK based, they’re another drop ship scam company from China. If you got your goods well done, if they breakdown Consumer Protection will not work for you. BUYER BEWARE !!

This customer was threatening us with false negative reviews if we didn’t pay him a ransom.

We are a U.K. based company with all of our company information available on the website and of course companies house.

Said customer was offered a replacement item for his item which developed a fault 9 months after purchase, for which he refused.

Mixed reviews. Not great after service.

Was very smooth transaction. However the arm was not in the box and they were adamant it was due to weights on shelf and at despatch. I have ordered one from Amazon as basically that was the end of that. The colours are not bold and vibrant like the picture on website says. So for me a bit of false advertisement there. And after looking at reviews, lots of people say the same. They did give me some settings and these were better. But still not representative of the advert.
On the whole a very good unit. But very a disappointing that a part was missing. And not replaced.

Zero Customer Service

How does this company have good reviews for customer service? We have been trying to contact them to return faulty goods for almost a month. No one answers their contact form and there is no phone number. Shockingly bad

Bought a refurbished Garmin 1030 plus

Bought a Garmin 1030 plus. Great price and quick delivery. Did send an email that went unanswered and also it isn't clear that device was refurbished. Still price is good and device looks fine.
