Ordered some frames 6 days ago

Ordered some frames 6 days ago. Called to find out what's going on and when they will arrive. Spoke to a extremely rude lady who told me it was my fault I ordered those particular frames as they are a non stock item. I would have to wait another 11 working days before they received them. Asked for a refund and she asked why and it was my fault ! Asked to speak to someone more senior only to be cut off.
Disgusting service. Will never use the site again that CARRY NO STOCK.
It seems you buy frames then they order from others. Just middle men.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I can see that you placed an order for a frame that is not a stock item. As stated on our website, these frames have an estimated delivery timeframe of 7–14 working days. This information is clearly displayed directly beneath the product description before the item is added to the basket.

Your order was placed on 11th February, and you requested cancellation after 4 working days. When you contacted us, our customer service team advised you of the standard timeframe, as they are here to provide clarification when customers enquire about their orders.

I understand that you also received a call from our Customer Service Manager, as there were some concerns regarding the timeframes displayed on our website. During this call, it was confirmed that the information provided to you was correct and that the stated timeframes are accurate.

A full refund has now been processed and should be with you shortly.

Don’t Use This Company ~ 5+ Weeks For An Order!

I ordered a pair of sunglasses on the 11th of January and they still hadn’t arrived 4 weeks later, so I called Opticians Direct and to be honest the lady I spoke to really couldn’t have cared less ~ she may as well have just said ‘computer says no’, her attitude was that bad and all she did was confirm the order was delayed by another 2 weeks.
The website is no use either ~ that’s just said ‘Order in Progress’ since the order was placed.

So, unless you want to wait 5+ weeks for your order and staff with a bad attitude, don’t order from this company.

While we completely understand that waiting longer than expected is frustrating, our team member did apologise for the delay and provided the most up-to-date information available at the time.

There was also a mention of compensation, on your side, as to stop a poor Trustpilot review, the frame you purchased was already heavily discounted in our sale. While we always try to help where we can, additional discounts are not always possible. We do not feel it’s fair to suggest that our staff member was dismissive — she remained polite and professional throughout the conversation.

We genuinely value all of our customers and work hard to provide both competitive pricing and good service. We’re sorry this experience did not meet your expectations and hope you’re pleased with your sunglasses once received.

Delivery time is ridiculous

Delivery time is ridiculous, I ordered 3 weeks ago and my order has been stuck in acquiring frames th whole time - so not even close to getting them. I emailed customer service and was told 7-14 working days, I’m not chasing again I’ve just asked for a refund. Should have gone elsewhere - regretting my choice and hoping for refund asap

As we do not operate over weekends, this can equate to up to three calendar weeks depending on when the order was placed.
