Orange is a thieving lazy company that doesn't care about customers.

Orange is a telecom company. And they intentionally make it impossible to contact customer service. They do not respond. The numbers they provide for customer service are disabled. It's an overpriced terrible company. And it shows how little they value customers. They don't care because they don't have to. If service works then great. But if you ever have problems you will receive no service or help.

They lie and cheat in official stores

Why are workers at official stores of the company allowed to cheat people. First, sharm el sheikh airport store, the worker sold me 65 GB package, when I installed the app, I saw it is 20 GB, GO 260, of course they overcharge us 20 Euro probably he thought I'm staying for 7 days and wouldn't notice, after 10 days Internet stopped working. I go to again official store in Genena city Shopping centar in Sharm, lady very kindly sells me 18 GB package for 400 Egyptian pounds after asking me how many more days I'm staying, again the message comes from Orange it is GO 80, which is 80 Egyptian pounds and not 18 GB. How is this allowed I don't understand, Orange is a big company. Shame what kind of message Egyptians send to the world.

Absolutely Terrible – Most Manipulative Service I've Ever Dealt With

Orange Egypt has hands down the most deceptive and manipulative offers I've ever encountered. Their promotions are full of hidden conditions and misleading information, designed purely to trick customers into subscribing.

To make matters worse, their customer service via 110 is by far the worst I've experienced anywhere in the world. Long wait times, unhelpful agents, and most importantly – they intentionally provide misleading information just to push you into activating services or offers you don’t need.

It’s extremely disappointing to see a major telecom provider operate this way. If you value honesty, transparency, and proper service – stay away from Orange Egypt.

Pretty much zero coverage from Hurghada…

Pretty much zero coverage from Hurghada to luxor or cairo, all pretty poor in a week I managed to use less than 500mb data it was that poor and so slow when you had a signal that pages still couldn't load as they timed out, customer service none existent, I contacted them several times and a week later (back home) still no reply shockingly bad. Last holiday in tunisia I used maya whom were brilliant signal and contact was almost instant when I had an issue. Don't know why I didn't use maya again tbh. My guide told me actual orange sim is better (£10) gave it a go and slightly better but still wouldn't use orange again, £27 esim 20gb you wouldn't be able to use 20gb in a week the system is too slow, id probably not bother and rely on hotel wifi than go with orange again

Very bad service

Subject: Extremely Poor and Unprofessional Service from Orange Egypt

Content:
“I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the extremely poor service provided by Orange Egypt, whether in terms of internet quality, customer service, or overall professionalism. Unfortunately, the company operates with clear negligence—the internet is slow and unstable, frequent disconnections occur with no real solutions, and when contacting customer service, we face delays, unprofessional behavior, and no real efforts to resolve issues. It feels as though the goal is simply to waste the customer’s time rather than provide actual solutions.

I am fed up with dealing with a company that does not respect its customers and fails to address its ongoing service problems. Despite repeated complaints, there has been no improvement or genuine concern. If this situation continues, I will be forced to switch to another provider, and I will make sure to warn others from falling into the same trap and dealing with such an unprofessional company.

I hope there will be an immediate and serious action to improve the service because the current situation is completely unacceptable.”

The branch of the company at the…airport

The branch of the company at the airport is cheating people. The 36g he said was actually 6G, and the airport people were just playing dumb.I find it hard to believe that this is one of the four major telecommunications companies in Egypt, and it is the official facade. Why is there such a thing? Why are there so many cheats in Egypt that I don't like this place at all? I suggest you download the official programI find it hard to believe that this is one of the four major telecommunications companies in Egypt, and it is the official facade. Why is there such a thing? Why are there so many cheats in Egypt that I don't like this place at all? I suggest you download the official program “my orange” to confirm how much traffic you have, but this only happens in Egypt, and I don't think any other country will cheat customers like this.

If there 0 star I will give, orange is the most messed up service you could receive in your life, the customer service people treat you as you work for them, not sure from where or how they have the power to control you and cut the service and start it as they wish.

I will never ever buy it again and I wish they go out of business soon than later.

It is again the most messed up services and I wished that I never bought

Orange Fraud at the airport

Official Orange Desk at the airport, right after the passports control, Guy at the airport had a stand with the prices, I tried to get 15gb for 8$, paid, got only 1 gb, he inserted the card into the phone and activated go15 packet, said that 15 gb will appear after the apk download. Of course it was a scam.

BE AWARE!

Scam beware

Scam beware - Bought a SIM card from Hurghada airport, the guy at the kiosk put the SIM card in our phone and said it would take two hours to activate. However it didn’t and we needed to keep in touch with family. The next day we still do not have any data and spoke to customer services via twitter, they said they will have to query it with the agent even though we provided a receipt and SIM card numbers as photos.
This is really really bad, surely they can check their end and not make us wait even longer, have to find wi-fi everytime now. We have been scammed by orange at Hurghada airport and customer services are being very unhelpful. We paid for 43gb each. And still waiting
