Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Terrible service terribe product and terrible people.
I have stopped my contract after 1 month as I couldn't even watch netflix after being assured my broadband would be excellent for gaming even. They made me pay for the whole year. I payed the whole year amount but after that the monthly payments were still being drawn from my account (which was refunded immediately). I have called countless times and every time they said it will be solved. This has happened for the whole past year. On february 11 this year they withdraw again the monthly payment with no refund. Called them again for the refund and its been 20 days still with no refund. This company is a fraud and it should be shut down for wasting peoples time and stealing money from people. I had to monitor my account every month to check for the refund, this is not normal. It's not normal that I have to change my card and now close my bank account because they are incapable or unwilling to fix these issues. A terrible company and this doesn't even begin to describe the experience

Incompetent staff!!!

I have cancelled my contract and my router is still working. Someone said will get in touch with me and no one did! How is that possible? Now I have broadband from two providers despite the fact that I have phoned many times to make sure this won’t happen. When are you going to get in touch with me? When are you going to sort this out?!!!!

Worst wifi I have come across as well…

Worst wifi I have come across as well as the customer service, being given the worst customer service, false promises however one customer service agent (Hassam) from origins broadband customer service team gave me assurance and helped me fix my wifi being on the phone to me for more than an hour trying to work things out without transferring me on to another customer service team/ section. This man deserves a raise because of his dedication and commitment for helping customers who have actual problems with the wifi, thanks again.

Moved from Vodafoney appx 1 month ago, seamless transfer, steady service ever since, solved the awful buffering I used to get.

Why are Origin allowed to have two accounts on here(they may have more but I’ve found two)
It’s a joke as before I joined them I came on here and saw the half decent one not the real one.

They are appalling

They are appalling, slow service, put prices up. I went with them for cheapness, massive mistake as they put my contract up to the same as the proper companies. They have blocked all of my weebly sites and I cant work. .ADHORANT company, useless what else can I say. Dont use them. I am taking them to an ombudsman to get out of this bad company.. NEVER USE THEM

Absolutely fuming

Absolutely fuming, this company have done nothing but misinform me and they take no accountability whatsoever, also not complying with meeting vulnerable customers need expects so much more from an internet provider!! Cant wait to get rid of them.

STAY CLEAR

Took 2 months to connect.
Then when they connected us, it was so slow, could not any think from netflicks, or any downloads. Rang customer services, they said it would settle down after 10 days. Didn't, rang cancelled. Had To another broadband company. Now they want £411.for the contract. Terrible company

This is the worst company I have…

This is the worst company I have experienced! We took out highest speed Broadband fibre with Them, after numerous dates of being told will be connected, finally We got connected, well I say that, We had next to no Broadband speeds, after calling customer services got put through to Technical, said needs to settle down, well that's the normal, but this speed was not even close to expected, so gave it a few days but still no Internet that was any good, called again & went through settings, line test etc to be told no fault found. So said We want to cancel within the 14 day period, was told They'll sort it out & not to cancel, so gave Them benefit of dought, so after few more days now out of 14 day period We requested cancellation as not fit for purpose! To be advised that full 24 month contract payments will now need to be paid to cancel.
We were advised after speaking to numerous people that as We had experienced problems from day 1 They would waiver this! Oh no They didn't! They have now esculated this to say You have 10 days to pay £411, before referring to debt collection agency.
So My advise stay well clear of this rouge company, They don't offer the service You sign up for, then make impossible to leave without bullying tactics. This company only survive by robbing poor vulnerable people to pay full contract fees despite not offering the service promised.
Lets hope Watchdog Rouge traders are going to look into Them & get justice for Their poor service all round.

Had broadband and phone fitted phone you could not ring anyone broadband no signal tried cancelling and told I am 1 day to late so give up after hours on phone trying to talk to them then get message about they cannot get direct debit payment and service will be disrupted it's been disrupted since day one now about 2 months later final bill for £161.50 no need to do anything it will be taken by direct debit this company is a load of thrives keep away from this company

Only given 1star because not given the option of 0 stars this company is to be avoided at all costs wait for ages to get a call answered and then get the call cut off if you try tell them how you feel dont get sucked into their trap off you cannot leave you are in contract well you can and I will be leaving without penalty the law on broadband services is that if your supplier cannot fulfill its obligation to supply what you signed for you can leave with 30 days notice without penalty STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

BRILLIANT INTERNET SERVICE

I never heard of this company but brilliant 6 months I've had with them and never had any connection or download issues and uninterrupted video calls are a must right now and customer services are brilliant clear no nonsense answers finishing the call without doubt. Very happy customer that is very happy to recommend to my friends, family and anyone I talk to about services in the home

Origin I broadband don’t provide a good service you will be pay in return of lots of stress when I challenged them on how bad their service is they just stopped my connection immediately with no noticed and I am still getting charged by direct debit don’t fall into the cheap price tag they lure people with its simple you won’t get the service

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Unfortunately I went with Origin due to be miss informed by the young lady on the phone. I had issues right from the very start and their solution was for me to pay for a full year and go with someone else. It takes forever to get through to customer services. They restricted my service at the beginning of February. I rang them and finally got through and was told I owed £17.99 which I paid. They are now harassing me saying that I owe more money. When the belligerent young man on the phone lied to me I asked him for a transcript or copy of the recording to prove what had been said. He then started arguing with me stating I was being rude to him. When i asked to be put through to his manager or supervisor he put the phone down on me.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

This company is a joke do not use…

This company is a joke do not use them,i ordered internet from them due to start in september 2020 by october still had no internet,they kept saying there was a fault and they would send an engineer out,never happened.I cancelled the contract now have a bill for £192.absolute joke they had 3months money off me for something i wasnt receiving,one tip talk yo them through there chat line then you have it all on record.

Origin broardband

I've been with these for a year coming febuary my internet is always up an down I've asked for call diversion 5 days ago was told it will be on straight away next day called them up to see why my call diversion is not working to then be told to try it while on the phone to her still not working so she said it must take 24 hours so called again 2 days later which was Saturday to be told she had to activate it on her end o she said it will definitely work on Monday 1st she also got me to renew my contract as mine ends febuary another 18 months contract anyway called them again which was monday was on hold through 5 songs to get cut off called them this morning was on hold for a long time while the guy tried to sort it but couldn't he said to leave it with him he will get back to me in a few hours nothing so I called back at 5pm he can't sort it so I've asked them to cancel my new contract and keep me on my old one as it dosnt run out till febuary and they are saying they can't cancel which you have 14 days to cancel so why can't I
These are the worst service I have ever come across none of them know what there doing I don't know how you can run a service when you can't give the service I really do advise no one to ever go with origin broadband

Looking forward to the day the contract with Origin expires. I mean they do not even have an email address you can contact them to. The chat people are so rude and for a technical issue to be handled... forget it
The only email address is "the complaints" email, as described in the chat earlier today.
They cannot even send you an email of the discussion had in the chat - "You can screenshoot it!" she said....
Not sure if there is anyone working at this company. Internet get throttled on a regular basis.
So many FEC on the FTTC two weekends ago. My Broadcomm modem could not even sync for around 8 hours (from 5pm to 1am). It was Sunday no way to contact anyone.
