Absolutely appalling, AVOID! Order sent to me in a tiny box, plants were dry as a bone, crushed, soil everywhere and pots bent out of shape. Marika offered me a 20% refund which was never processed.... See more

Fast delivery but poor quality
Fast delivery and reasonable price. The snake plant was pretty, as expected; however, one of the leaves arrived with its tip snapped off and there were brown spots on the leaves indicating it wasnt in the best of conditions. Also I specifically ordered a plant that was 0-30 cm and it was a lot taller! Sadly I wouldn't order from OxyPlants again.
Brilliant healthy plants and very quick…
Brilliant healthy plants and very quick delivery very pleased will buy more.
Bought and paid for some gravel
Bought and paid for some gravel. Simply never delivered!
Plants arrived in a mess and packaging was not fit for purpose
First time shopping at OxyPlant. Experience could not been any worse. I was really disappointed in the product and service provided. Firstly, the plants arrived in a mess with the soil all over the place. The plants almost came out of the pots. The packaging was bad both inside and outer box, and I had to spend time to clean everything up - not what you would expect from online orders nowadays. Second, I was home all day but the door bell did not ring. The box was just left in public area. I had to look for it when I got email that the item was delivered. Overall this is just poor service. I contacted customer service but was unhelpful, instead I was asked for photos of proof. Really annoyed. Won't be shopping here again.
Aspidistra
The aspidistra arrived in good condition and was a good size for the price I paid.
stay well away from these thieves! No help provided!
Bought a plant from this company and to be sent a plant that looked dead. Leaves were brown and seemed lifeless. Contacted the customer service team and was told that the plant is fine and that in few days or week it’ll show signs of life. I was issued a partial refund however, after two months the plant is showing no improvement and leaves are turning all brown and dying. Contacted the team again only to be told “tough”. No replacement or remedy issued. Stay away from this company as clearly they are not here to support their customers but only how to make money from customers.
Not as described & poor quality
Not as described & poor quality. Bought a 150cm plant 6weeks ago and it arrived smaller than expected, with browning leaves and a bug infestation. I understand this happens when you buy plants off the internet, but not had this issue with other purchases before.
Reading reviews, it seems that Oxy have had this issue of sending smaller plants before. Would proceed with caution and only buy cheaper plants from them.
Customer service was not very sympathetic or helpful.
Terrible service
Requested next day delivery. Did not happen. No communication/poor customer service. No sign of a refund or my plant after 5 days.
Very smaller plant than a ordered
Small plant than a ordered. A ordered a Focus Ginseng which stated height 50cm tall and plant pot size is 15cm for £24.99 + delivery charge on thier wed page when ordering.
Plant arrived was 29cm tall and in a plant pot only 9cm. A was confused about this very small plant pot. So a looked at there web page again and they are a smaller plant at 35cm in height and in a 12cm plant pot at £11.99 + delivery charge. Now this is much closer to the plant size to which was delivered. A did not order a smaller plant than the one which a did ordered.
A have contacted this company and all they will say is everything is right and they will only give 10% off my next order.
They are clearly having a laugh. A have started a complaint over my PayPal account for full refund. Clearly they are not interested in helping out of there clearly mistakes.
Have been reading through a lot of things on hear over Oxy-Plants and it seams they do this all the time and a have not come across one person which they have responded from Oxy-Plants on hear.
Excellent plant specimen
Bought a large money tree for a wedding present for daughter and son in law .also bought a pot and stand and it came planted ready in my chosen pot.it was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition.Would highly recommend website gave excellent advice on plant care and revived good communication from company on delivery details.I received plant within 2days .would highly recommend.
Very unprofessional company
Bought a relatively expensive plant and pot (£137) for my son’s birthday and paid £7.99 for next day delivery. He took the day off work but it didn’t arrive. Same story next day. Tracking link didn’t work and no-one at Oxy-plants was answering my phone calls and emails. On the third day I managed to speak to someone who assured me the 6ft plant box would be left in a ‘safe place’. This turned out to be propped up against his front door in full view of a busy London street. Luckily no-one had taken it. No-one contacted me to explain or apologise and when I contacted the company again, their response was to refund me the princely sum of £2:00. The plant is lovely but I definitely would not use this company again.
They are even not deserve for one star
They are even not deserve for one star. They are send me wrong plant, trying to contact with customer service via email, no response, was waiting for couple days. Finally rang them, then they (Cliah) start to response. Her answer was Ihave to to return them back that wrong plant and when they will receive, after that they will send me my Umbrella plant which I ordered and already paid. I told them I want refund because is not my fault they send me wrong plant, so it's again the same- when they will receive wrong plant which they send me , then I will receive my refund. I return via Evri, as per tracking number says :delivered. Tried to contact with oxy-plant they saying they didn't received. So finally I am with out umbrella plant and didn't get my refund, so spend extra 8£ for returning back wrong plant, which they finally saying didn't received. ALSO CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY LIARS AND IGNORING ME when I am trying to sort out about my order AND THEY ARE EVEN NOT BOTHERING TO SORT OUT THEY FAULT. THIS IS LAST TIME WHEN I ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY
Worst online plant company I’ve ever ordered from
UPDATE 06/10/23: My £425 was finally refunded after I chased it up - Cilah apologised for the delay, saying that it was due to (yet another) “technical issue”. In the interim, the diseased palm I was sent, has completely died off. It lasted less than a month.
To reiterate: WORST ONLINE PLANT COMPANY EVER!!!!
————————————————-
Having over 80 indoor plants, all ordered via online companies, I can safely say that this is the worst one I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with.
I purchased a large Kentia palm and a small Peace Lilly totalling £63. Due to a bizarre technical glitch on their system, I instead unknowingly bought 3 large Rubber plants and 3 Areca palms for £425! This only became apparent when the confirmation email came through, much to my shock and disbelief. The system had also added in a random line of somebody else’s address! I phoned immediately, advising Cilah of the faulty website and requested that the order be cancelled and a refund issued.
Nearly 10 days later I have in my possession an extremely sickly looking Kentia palm and spindly little Peace Lilly - according to Cilah, the “best of the bunch” were especially picked for me (I shudder to think what the worst of the bunch looks like then!)….and still NO refund.
Customer service has been absolutely horrendous throughout. One would think that after an error like this a company would go out of their way to make amends and at the very least, process my refund immediately - £425 is a lot of money, especially when it was taken from my account unexpectedly and through no fault of my own. Utterly disgraceful, and I shall be seeking legal advice.
Wish I'd looked at reviews before…
Wish I'd looked at reviews before purchasing.. Awful customer service, clearly sent a smaller than ordered plant, refusing to take any responsibility and I'm having to argue to get a refund or exchange. The plant is not very good condition either, 3 big dead leaves and a lot of pale unhealthy ones! Really disappointed. Will continue to push for refund or go to trading standards as they are in breach of contract based on their terms and conditions.... Do better!!!
I had the same bad experience as everyone..
I had the exact same experience as the other person who bought the birds of paradise plant! Seems there is only 1 person working for this CRAP company. Never buy from here again. Nearly 2 weeks later still haven’t sorted the mess out
zero review .
zero review .. came with barely any leaves .. customer service appalling .. no response .. they dont seem to care once receive the money .. stay clear of them .. very disappointed the pant is going in the bin now .. dont waste ur money
Would not recommend
I ordered two fishbone cacti. Neither of the plants were as full or as tall as the ones pictured on the website, but the main issue I have is with the packaging. My plants were in a large box with no padding or tape to hold the plants in place. Both plants were out of their nursery pots just shaking around in the box with loads of loose soil. The plants were a bit limp but looked okay at a glance, so I repotted and watered them. However, they started to show signs of serious root rot within a few days. I can only assume that the roots were damaged while being thrown around in the shipping box.
When I contacted oxy-plant, I was offered a refund and although a little bit bummed that I'd have to spend my time replacing the plants, I accepted. However, when the money came through I noticed that I was not refunded for the shipping, which I don't think is fair. It would be understandable if there was some kind of error on my part, but there wasn't.
I explained this but was told "Unfortunately, I am unable to refund the shipping due to our terms and conditions as the refund was for the two plants" and then ended the email with a condescending "Hope this clears up any confusion. Have a lovely day." It sounds to me like they wrote their terms and conditions specifically so they wouldn't have to refund shipping on their poorly packaged plants! Now I'm £5.99 out of pocket with 2 dead plants to show for it.
I have ordered loads of plants over the years from different websites and never had a problem, especailly with succulants which tend to do quite well in the post when properly packaged. I thought it would be nice to give oxy-plant a try but will not be shopping there again. I would recommend House of Kojo as an alternative. They're a little more expensive but their plants are beautiful, they do a great job with packaging and their customer service is very good.
Very annoyed with Oxy-plants
First time I order from Oxy-plants, and the birds of paradise plant arrived with all the leaves brown and curled at the tip. When I contacted Oxy-plants, a lady said she sees no issues with plant and that it was stressed from journey and to cut off thr dry leaves, there are five leaves and they are all dry! This is untrue and I have ordered many plants from Patch and they arrive in perfect condition and just need a little watering. After two weeks the leaves are getting worse and worse and I will go back again to complain. So annoyed that I did not stick to companies I trust.
Overpriced bad quality plants
Having paid nearly £60 for 4 plants i would expect them to arrive as described on website however they are tiny( not the sizes specified) and one is full of rot. After an email to customer service a reply from Cliah apologised for “my confusion” and that the plants are in her option healthy. I attached multiple photos to show this is not the case. Beyond disappointed with this business. Lesson learned, do not buy from here, go buy your plants in person.
Heed the negative reviews!!
Heed the negative reviews!!! I bought a large and mature money tree from Oxy-Plants which arrived with over a third of the leaf stems snapped due to poor packaging and mishandling. I exchanged several emails in which I attached photos but was repeatedly told the plants were ‘climatising’ (I think they meant acclimatising) and to be ‘patient’! The response given was that I should just water the tree as the leaves often drop when the plant is moved! I tried to reiterate that the issue was NOT due to the tree acclimatising and that it had arrived very damaged. I then sent a photo as evidence of how many would-have-been perfectly healthy leaves that I had had to remove due to the broken stems, and another photo of how sparse the tree was following this. They continued to say it was just due to the tree ‘climatising’ and sent the same email as they had at the beginning. They refused to issue a refund or replacement and eventually after many emails only gave me 30% back. They asked me to send it back in ‘resellable condition’ in order to get a full refund, but the whole problem is that it was never in sellable condition! Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. Unfortunately their customer service agent, Cliah, is not in the right role. I will NOT be shopping with them again.
