I spent $476 on king size linen bedding and it all fell apart within two years. The bottom sheet has several holes. The flat sheet has holes and two of the four pillow cases are coming apart at the se... See more

I am writing a negative review about…
I am writing a negative review about Parachute Home because they left me in the lurch. I bought a set of towels in October 2022, a year and three months ago. I contacted the company because the towels have shredded severely along the edges - definitely a product failure. They said sorry, we can’t do anything about that since it’s been over a year but we will forward your complaint to our product quality team. I had bought several things from parachute over the years, but I will no longer be supporting the company. I have a set of Target towels that I bought five or six years ago that are still holding up nicely, I am just really upset that Parachute didn’t take responsibility for their product quality. After my towels started shredding in November, I bought organic towels from Coyuchi during their holiday sale and the towels are more substantial and better quality. Bye Parachute, you lost a customer.

5 stars for awesome customer service & linen!
UPDATE: 5 stars for customer service, 1 star still on whatever happened to the percale sheets I received, BUT Sarah from customer service reached out and offered to swap our percale sheets for the linen. We’ve only had them a week, but slept on them the first time last night and it was blissful & cool. Sarah advised washing a few times in warm water before first use. We did a cycle with a cup of baking soda, then a cycle with 1/2 cup white vinegar per other suggestions, then two delicate cycles with gentle detergent. Fluffed to dry and hung to finish drying. They shed a LOT the first 3 cycles but not so much the last cycle. So, I’m amending my review to reflect the customer service and linen sheets from Parachute, both of which are an easy 5 stars :) (I don’t update reviews often, but I really was that impressed)!
Original review:
I purchased the clay set of percale sheets in July of 2021 and they're still amazing and going strong. I purchased a set of slate percale in May 2022 and figured the color may have made the feel difference (MUCH thinner and scratchier than the clay from the get go).
The clay were comfortable from day one and got better the more we washed them...the slate were so bad after washing them 30+ times over a couple months EXPECTING them to eventually become comfortable that they've sat in the closet unused because they're hot and uncomfortable and we "missed the return window" because we were told to keep washing them/wash them with vinegar to soften them...and this never worked.
My husband and I just got married and, hoping AGAIN that the slate was a one-off, though already frustrated at being out the money, registered for a moss percale sheet set, duvet cover, shams, and a duvet insert on zola, as well as a set of king pillowcases to match our old clay set; we received them all and washed the sheets immediately.
I literally woke up wet. As did my husband. Covered in sweat, and claustrophobic. (This, after desperately trying to fall asleep already too hot from the sheets not breathing AT ALL, which is wild for percale). We took the sheets off the next night and slept with the lightweight down duvet alone over our clay sheet and it was fine, but we'll probably be returning that too now that Parachute's reputation is in question.
I'm now not only frustrated, but embarrassed, because I've given these sheets as gifts and preached about them being amazing, only to now ask for honest feedback from friends and family who received the parachute bedding the last 2 years from me saying they don't use it because it's too thin/scratchy....what on earth.
Whatever Parachute did to change the sheets the last 2ish years...it sucks. I get it, they've got brand recognition now, and stakeholders to impress....but damn guys, they literally just broke my heart after ending my years long hunt for the perfect sheets with that initial clay set.
Off to the citizenry I go, but I would LOVE to come back if Parachute puts quality anywhere near the top of their priorities again...or at the very least acknowledges they messed up something recently.
For the record, I held up the clay pillowcases from 2021 and they're nearly opaque in front of a lamp, the 2023 set I just received are nearly transparent next to them...so it's black & white here that the sheet quality changed, I will not be gaslit about it, because I've worked a lot of customer service and I know how this all goes. Yet I'm frustrated enough that it was worth my time to email them and leave a review here after being told I couldn't directly speak with someone who could answer some questions about quality... ::shrug::
I'm including my original order number and the slate order number to prove timeline below - the others as I said were through Zola registry.

We purchased Eco Comfort mattress…
We purchased Eco Comfort mattress almost a year ago and overall it’s been the least comfortable mattress we’ve had in a while, and it wasn’t cheap. I contacted customer service to express my concerns and experience and they had nothing to offer us not even a discount or credit for a mattress topper. My wife and I have spent thousands buying towels and sheets and this is the first time we’ve had an issue. Customer service was pretty much dismissive and unhelpful at providing any support. As a loyal customer - I had higher expectations. We won’t be buying anything else from Parachute.

I'm so disappointed in my Parachute…
I'm so disappointed in my Parachute purchase. I bought the linen sheet set in Fog and the fitted sheet only lasted a little over a year before becoming thread-bare and developing a hole! I was delicate with them and followed the care instructions on the website, yet, they are already falling apart. I suspected something was off as an alarming amount of lint comes out after each wash/dry and they are very much thinner after only about 20 washes (I purchased them in Sept. '22). Given the reputation of Parachute products and the cost, I was excited to splurge on the sheet set for my home. The Fog is a lovely color, and they were soft and beautiful but only for a short amount of time and now I'm scared to continue using them for fear the hole will get bigger!

Completely Fell Apart
I purchased a set of expensive linen sheets that completely fell apart after only one year with holes everywhere. The quality of the linen is very thin and terrible, and develops tiny holes all over the fabric making it unusable.

Expensive Sheets that Didn't Last
These sheets are not cheap, but they started to come apart on me in less than a year and a half, with holes in the sheets and pillowcase lining coming undone at the seams.
That being said, Parachute has reached out and been very good about compensating me for the issue, which is a lot more than can be said about many companies these days.
So while I doubt I will be purchasing these particular sheets again in the future, I can get behind a company that tries to create an ultimately positive customer experience.
1 star for my product and five stars for support = 3 stars.

$220 for fitted sheet that fell apart
$220 for fitted sheet and top sheet and both fell apart. There is a reason they don't warranty them. Go to amazon for better quality, less money.

Sheets don't even last one year
I bought a set of linen sheets from them last year. The fitted sheet has already worn down and there are two holes in it. I would not buy sheets from them.

Initially disappointed with quality of sheets, but the customer service was great!
Update ***
Sarah from the Customer Experience team followed up with me after my initial experience. I have since had my fitted sheet replaced. I am very happy with the level of customer service I was provided!! So far the new sheet has been great! Thank you Parachute & Sarah for making this right!
**Original Review
Within the first month of owning the sateen sheets they began piling. Had the sateen sheets for less than a year before they developed holes. They are unwilling to refund me or replace the items.

Parachute does not stand behind its products.
I loved the products but they are failing after a couple years. I have other percale sheet sets from other brands on rotation that are 20 years old and still look beautiful. The newest Parachute ones are the only ones failing and tearing. Customer service was not helpful when I reached out for a resolution. After many years of exclusively buying expensive linens from Parachute, I’m done. There are better companies out there that actually stand behind their products.
What a waste of money
What a waste of money. Wanted soft, durable sheets and was willing to pay more for them. I got scratchy, thin sheets instead. Walmart would have been better.
I dont know why this site/brand has so…
I dont know why this site/brand has so many negative reviews. I have always had a good experience with the customer care. The product can sometimes be a little lower quality then expected - for example I had pillow cases that sun-bleached after one season of use. I reached out to the company and they worked with me to resolve the issue. Yes, I must admit I have never had anything in my bedroom become sun-bleached BUT they did help replace the item (btw it was a quilt like pillow case in Terra, different from the standard sateen style). As far as quality of sheets, I have been using their sheets for 3 years now (same 2 sets) and I have no issues with holes like some others mention. Possibly its the way people fail to follow care instructions for the product? I don't know. I will say that the care of expensive sheets is def different then cheaper sheets and requires more attention if you want to maintain the fresh "new" look. I like this brand and will continue shopping with them since I feel they have great customer care and respond quickly to inquires.
Shipped order to old address
They use ShopPay, which shipped my item--which I desperately need--to an old address. I paid extra for expedited shipping!
I purchased Parachute brand pillows of medium firmness and it was a complete waist of money. The pillows were INSTANTLY FLAT and felt CHEAP. There is nothing luxurious about these pillows.
I purchased Parachute brand pillows, duvet, and sheets for over 1k (and this was on sale ha!) and the quality is TERRIBLE. I assumed I was getting quality for the exuberant price because you get what you pay for right, but there is no way this bedding should cost what it does. Biggest red flag: they NEVER followed up via email to assess my experience. Me and my husband chose the medium firmness for the pillows and they were flat instantly; no fluff or luxury feeling what so ever and the bedding was a bit coarse not soft or luxurious at all. This was a complete rip off. I should've searched reviews before. I've had better quality at a far lower price before I could afford to spend so much on bedding. DO NOT PATRONIZE PARACHUTE. THEIR BUSINESS IS A SCAM.
Condescendingly Horrible Customer Service
I would give a zero star if that was possible. I was incredibly SHOCK at the way Parachute handled my request for a replacement towel. I bought a lot from Parachute in years past and prices are not cheap. One of the four Tassel towels I purchased from them pre-pandemic fell apart after 2 washes. I had several deaths in the family and was too busy to notify them right away and then subsequently we were stuck outside of the US for 3 years during the pandemic. So we did not use the towels but for the 2 times that I washed them prior to the pandemic. I thought for sure Parachute will replace my ratty towel because they would stand behind their claim that they make quality products. I went to the store and was told to bring the issue up with someone at the help desk. So I emailed Parachute. The guy, Javier, who responded must have thought I'm one of those people who wanted a free towel because he was condescending with explanations about the normal wear and tear of towels. UNBELIEVABLE! Yes, Javier, if I used the towel all the time, I would not expect it or any other towel to still keep its shape. But after two washes, the towel fell apart?!? My Target towels are still going strong. I will NEVER ever purchase anything else from this place ever again. Parachute has lost me as a customer forever.
Lovely soft sheets and linen duvet
Lovely soft sheets and linen duvet. After two months and some washes, they still look and feel great. Love getting into bed these days!
awful sheets awful service
my sheets wore holes in them within a year, duvet full of strings and basically unusable. tried to reach out to customer service and they made up a complete lie saying I was already refunded and that I actually never even picked up my order in the first place. how the hell would I have sheets now with holes in them if I never picked them up? absolute trash company, will never support them again
Defective Pillow - Parachute Couldn't Care Less
Purchased the down side sleeper pillow from The Hudsons Bay company in September 2022. Pillow works great except I noticed less than a month ago it's shedding a massive amount of down!
Contacted the company directly and they said they couldn't honour their warranty as it wasn't purchased direct from them. The Hudsons Bay replaces Parachutes 3 year warranty with their own 30 DAY warranty, however on almost every other brand The Hudsons Bay sells they still offer the original company warranty on top of their own.
I feel like Parachute provides The Hudsons Bay with inferior quality products knowing that they won't have to warranty any of these. To me, its like they're just after my money with a very sub-par product. There are no Parachute stores here in Canada so no in-person option other than The Hudsons Bay...lame as basically I spent $200+ CAD on a defective pillow from the start...
They do not guarantee products will last and they WON'T
Spent over $500 for the first time ever for "quality" bedding. We got a whole set and loved it. Followed the care instructions and were pretty gentle with these. After about a year the quilt started to tear- little holes here and there. So I decided to keep it on our bed seasonally to minimize the use (although I've never done this before). We kept using the sheets and after almost 2 years of owning, a large tear showed up on the fitted sheet (not in the seam so NOT fixable). After one more nights sleep, the tear was huge and it had to be tossed.
I contacted customer service and their response was "there is no set amount of time your Quilt should last" and they did not address the sheet.
After running an Airbnb for 2 years- and washing bedding every 2-4 days my Ikea and Target products have held up beautifully!
Horribly ran business in my opinion.
Great sheets
I purchased a brushed cotton sheet set and I love them. The shipping was very fast too. Don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I highly recommend them.
