Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 47 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the products, especially bedding and towels, to be of poor quality, falling apart or fraying within a short period, often less than two years, despite proper care. Reviewers frequently mentioned issues like holes, thinning fabric, and discoloration, which they felt was unacceptable given the premium price point. The customer service also received significant criticism, with many reporting unhelpful responses, difficulty reaching support, and a refusal to honor warranties or address quality concerns. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with their purchases, particularly highlighting the comfort of mattresses and the positive assistance from some customer service representatives. Some also appreciated the aesthetic appeal of certain items like vintage linen and body pillow covers, finding them beautiful and well-made.

I dont know why this site/brand has so…

I dont know why this site/brand has so many negative reviews. I have always had a good experience with the customer care. The product can sometimes be a little lower quality then expected - for example I had pillow cases that sun-bleached after one season of use. I reached out to the company and they worked with me to resolve the issue. Yes, I must admit I have never had anything in my bedroom become sun-bleached BUT they did help replace the item (btw it was a quilt like pillow case in Terra, different from the standard sateen style). As far as quality of sheets, I have been using their sheets for 3 years now (same 2 sets) and I have no issues with holes like some others mention. Possibly its the way people fail to follow care instructions for the product? I don't know. I will say that the care of expensive sheets is def different then cheaper sheets and requires more attention if you want to maintain the fresh "new" look. I like this brand and will continue shopping with them since I feel they have great customer care and respond quickly to inquires.

I purchased Parachute brand pillows of medium firmness and it was a complete waist of money. The pillows were INSTANTLY FLAT and felt CHEAP. There is nothing luxurious about these pillows.

I purchased Parachute brand pillows, duvet, and sheets for over 1k (and this was on sale ha!) and the quality is TERRIBLE. I assumed I was getting quality for the exuberant price because you get what you pay for right, but there is no way this bedding should cost what it does. Biggest red flag: they NEVER followed up via email to assess my experience. Me and my husband chose the medium firmness for the pillows and they were flat instantly; no fluff or luxury feeling what so ever and the bedding was a bit coarse not soft or luxurious at all. This was a complete rip off. I should've searched reviews before. I've had better quality at a far lower price before I could afford to spend so much on bedding. DO NOT PATRONIZE PARACHUTE. THEIR BUSINESS IS A SCAM.

Condescendingly Horrible Customer Service

I would give a zero star if that was possible. I was incredibly SHOCK at the way Parachute handled my request for a replacement towel. I bought a lot from Parachute in years past and prices are not cheap. One of the four Tassel towels I purchased from them pre-pandemic fell apart after 2 washes. I had several deaths in the family and was too busy to notify them right away and then subsequently we were stuck outside of the US for 3 years during the pandemic. So we did not use the towels but for the 2 times that I washed them prior to the pandemic. I thought for sure Parachute will replace my ratty towel because they would stand behind their claim that they make quality products. I went to the store and was told to bring the issue up with someone at the help desk. So I emailed Parachute. The guy, Javier, who responded must have thought I'm one of those people who wanted a free towel because he was condescending with explanations about the normal wear and tear of towels. UNBELIEVABLE! Yes, Javier, if I used the towel all the time, I would not expect it or any other towel to still keep its shape. But after two washes, the towel fell apart?!? My Target towels are still going strong. I will NEVER ever purchase anything else from this place ever again. Parachute has lost me as a customer forever.

awful sheets awful service

my sheets wore holes in them within a year, duvet full of strings and basically unusable. tried to reach out to customer service and they made up a complete lie saying I was already refunded and that I actually never even picked up my order in the first place. how the hell would I have sheets now with holes in them if I never picked them up? absolute trash company, will never support them again

Defective Pillow - Parachute Couldn't Care Less

Purchased the down side sleeper pillow from The Hudsons Bay company in September 2022. Pillow works great except I noticed less than a month ago it's shedding a massive amount of down!

Contacted the company directly and they said they couldn't honour their warranty as it wasn't purchased direct from them. The Hudsons Bay replaces Parachutes 3 year warranty with their own 30 DAY warranty, however on almost every other brand The Hudsons Bay sells they still offer the original company warranty on top of their own.

I feel like Parachute provides The Hudsons Bay with inferior quality products knowing that they won't have to warranty any of these. To me, its like they're just after my money with a very sub-par product. There are no Parachute stores here in Canada so no in-person option other than The Hudsons Bay...lame as basically I spent $200+ CAD on a defective pillow from the start...

They do not guarantee products will last and they WON'T

Spent over $500 for the first time ever for "quality" bedding. We got a whole set and loved it. Followed the care instructions and were pretty gentle with these. After about a year the quilt started to tear- little holes here and there. So I decided to keep it on our bed seasonally to minimize the use (although I've never done this before). We kept using the sheets and after almost 2 years of owning, a large tear showed up on the fitted sheet (not in the seam so NOT fixable). After one more nights sleep, the tear was huge and it had to be tossed.
I contacted customer service and their response was "there is no set amount of time your Quilt should last" and they did not address the sheet.
After running an Airbnb for 2 years- and washing bedding every 2-4 days my Ikea and Target products have held up beautifully!
Horribly ran business in my opinion.

Great sheets

I purchased a brushed cotton sheet set and I love them. The shipping was very fast too. Don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I highly recommend them.

Same issues as everyone else!

Same issues as everyone else. Lint bunnies flying all over our bedroom floor daily. I didn't sweep for a couple of days and ended up with a full dust pan of linen. Going on 8 months now and it continues. I honestly don't know how anything left. They encouraged me the lint will go away after a few more washes and over a few months. The pillow cases twist and come off half way every night. The measurements are incorrect for each product I've purchased from them. I have a full inch of linen in my lint trap after drying the duvet cover and fitted sheet. Don't buy from them.

Really disappointed!

Really disappointed. It sheds like crazy and after only 6 months, it’s full of holes! Spent $1200 on a full King Size set and the fitted sheet is now full of holes and the material is see through. The duvet cover never actually fit the duvet correctly so it’s constantly bunching up. The pillow covers barely fit the king size pillows. The whole thing is just a disappointment. Was excited to splurge on fancy sheets but nope, it ended up being a waste of money. I’m sticking with IKEA from now on.

Garbage Sheets, Even Worse Customer Service

I purchased a whole set of the Percale sheets around July of 2021. I used them that summer for a couple of months, put them away for the winter, and started using them again this summer. Around June I noticed the thread on one of the corners on the fitted sheet started coming loose. It was very minor so I didn’t think much of it. By the end of summer it had completely unraveled (see photo).

I emailed them on Oct 18 to ask what their warranty period was but never got a response. So I went into a local store to ask the same question and was basically treated like a delinquent with the cs resp asking if I did the unraveling myself. Any idiot could tell the problem was not caused by use but by poor craftsmanship...threads in sheet corners don’t just unravel after a year of infrequent use.

While the percale material does feel good, Parachute’s quality control sucks and the customer service is even worse. Needless to say I will NEVER buy from them again.

Btw, I tried to post my review on their website but it never showed. Stay away from this sketchy company!

I wanted to love the Percale sheets

I wanted to love the Percale sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover that I bought from Parachute, but after 4 years of wear, I'm quite disappointed with the quality. My fitted sheet starting ripping, the pillowcases have sweat stains that I cant get out (they have been washed and cared for regularly) and the duvet cover has discoloration in one area. The colors of my linens along with parachute's marketing are beautiful and aspirational, but if I'm being honest, quality is most important, and it's simply not there.

There are much nicer sheets available!

I gave Parachute linen sheets a try based on a personal recommendation. I have linen sheets from Restoration Hardware, The Company Store and Pottery Barn, but I would like to find nice linen sheets not made in China. The top sheet I purchased cost as much or more than what I already had, but it was the kind of linen sheet I imagined I might get at IKEA, at half the price, lol. Very thin and the stitching looked so cheap! My Company Store sheets are the thinnest I have, but they also have lovely hem stitching on the top sheet and just generally look much better constructed. So I’m still on the hunt for linen sheets not made in China. I have read that there are Etsy sellers in Eastern Europe that make really nice linen sheets, so I guess that will be my next stop.

Worst . Bedding. Ever

Worst. Bedding. Ever. Just don't do it. I ordered a set of linen sheets for my sons full size bed and we were SO excited to receive them. The fitted sheet was so flimsy and scratchy that there was a hole in the corner. The fitted sheet was 5 1/2 inches LONGER then the actual bed. I don't know who does the sizing for parachute, but it's way off. My son has a $1,200 full size Hybrid Casper bed. I also ordered a pair of non returnable Pj's for myself in a large... I"m usually a small/medium, but like my loungewear to be big. It barely covers my stomach. Going to cut the pj's up and make a shirt for my dog. I hate this company. Horrible products. All of the reviews on other sites are negative with 5 stars, so someone is doing something dodgy to change the reviews.

Bad reviews be damned

I have no idea where these bad reviews came from. I've been buying parachute stuff for years now and have never had the kinds of experiences other people have complained about. A few specifics I will call out though:
1. I was told you should change your pillows every 1-2 years. I had used the same pillow for 4 years and was annoyed with how flat it had gotten. I did my own research and that 1-2 years number is accurate based on industry standards. Honestly wish i had known this earlier. probably would have saved me some neck pain.
2. the linen does shed. I only have a duvet cover so my experience is limited to that, but I'm pretty sure the shedding is what helps the linen continue to soften over time. Would be great if there was a bit less shedding, but overall I think their linen is the softest I've used.
3. the brushed cotton sheets are my favorite of all time. highly recommend.
4. The soft-rib towels are an underrated star. The softest towels I've ever used and have bought them for many a house-warming over the past couple of years.

To be fair I haven't had to deal much with their customer service, so I can't speak on that. But I've been to the soho store many times and my experience has always been lovely.

DONT DO IT!!

DONT DO IT!!! What a terrible mistake and a waste of $1500+ this purchase was. The linen sheets are scratchy, uncomfortable and shedded all over the room! The pillows went flat after two months and the customer service is the worst! They are always right and the customer is always wrong!! Big PASS on this company
