It was not difficult except I do not know how to upload pictures and the first picture was unacceptable even though it meant the standard for passport pictures.

Not an efficient process
The website which was supposed to keep me updated on the status of the visa was not updated. My application needed a revised document that was never communicated so the process stalled a few days until I called and discovered the problem.

The Chat feature was very helpful
The Chat feature was very helpful and I used it several times to help navigate through the process of getting a tourist visa to China. I also appreciated the ability to send my passports in via FedEx and receive them back that way - saving two trips to the city for two of us; this was very convenient.
