The information is suited to those who have no idea of the biological aspect of pain. For those of us who know that pain does not mean damage, and also that hurt does not mean harm, most of the course is patronising and pointless.

CONFIDENCE AND CALM RESTORED!
CONFIDENCE AND CALM RESTORED!
I am ninety and was thinking maybe, I would never be pain free and flexible again. I was not in seriously debilitating pain! But was hurting when I did most things. After doing “pathway through pain” I feel much calmer and more relaxed and can think myself out of many of my aches and pains, not to mention the fact that the brilliant exercises have made me much more supple and I think improved my overall posture. .
I found all the tutorials friendly and most of them helpfuL

Remember Knowledge is Power!
Although I'm am still yet to find the cause of my chronic pain, this course was insightful and reminded me that the road to recovery isn't always straight forward. I would recommend giving this a go, even if at times it may feel tedious, you will definitely come away with something you didn't know. Remember knowledge is power and you're better off knowing more about your own condition so you don't get overwhelmed with doctor jargon or sent down a path that does nothing for you.
Excellent pain management app.
Using the app gave me the focus I needed to help me see a way forward in dealing with both the psychological and the physical effects of pain.
As someone who was very physically active before my accident, I found benefit in the relaxation techniques and the advice on pacing yourself.
It’s very easy to become overwhelmed and feel like you’re never going to get better, especially during a long period of recovery, but the app was a helpful reminder that recovering from a serious injury takes time and to be gentle with yourself.
Would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with pain management and the frustrations, anxiety, feelings of hopelessness and depression that long term pain can cause.
Really great app. Glad I was given access to it.

This programme has made a huge difference in how I manage my pain. I have learnt how pain does not mean harm, how to pace myself and how to be kinder to myself.
Highly recommended for people suffering from persistent pain.
Lots of useful information, presented in a way that enables you to digest it properly. Learnt some new things and it reinforced others that I already knew/did. Highly recommended for people suffering from persistent pain. It’s not a cure all program but I feel it’s designed to help you understand pain and give you ways to manage your pain and to avoid a build up of stress mentally and physically that can add to your pain levels. For example, If you learn how to relax/meditate then you mentally often have more ability to deal with pain. If you condition your body/muscles then you won’t be so tense which will lessen some pain. If you have a ‘bad’ day with your pain, I feel you learn the mindset that it’s ok, take a break, do a little, try again tomorrow. I think it holds a good philosophy that has changed my outlook of living with persistent pain.

I’m afraid that although the relaxation helps short term, the long term pain is still there and impacting on my everyday life.
