Once upon a time...
... some russian lady promised you a world to use their services. You will become rich and everything will be as she claimed. Than you figured out that there is no such thing as fairly tales and that lady is a guy. Only good thing here is that I somehow got all of my pending money. Everything else is a big scheme. Fees are false, promises are also, and so on and so forth. Super easy integration it was, but everything else is one false story. Once you are a little bit more with them you can see that behind the scene this can not be legit business. You got payments from company which is selling playstation accounts??? Cmon. One company for taking, one company for converting money, one company God knows where for giving money, if they have it, because many times I waited weeks for it. There is no way you can contact them over fake phone, see them on Skype, know anything deep about them. All locations are fake, in UK my friend is living couple streets away from their location and there is no company like that, my other friend is in Hong Kong, I asked him to go and check, and again nothing there. I guess for smart people this will be enough. And I am really curious will they try to block this review.
Update 13-08: They do still pay out withdrawals, but expect them to take 2-3x as long as otherwise stated.
Started out well, but for some reason everything turned bad. I had been using Payop for about 3-4 months without any issues, then around end May, I lost $1000 from my total balance, on my account with them.
It took me a while to get any usable answer as to why this happened, later they told me it was because they use RUB as their primary bank currency, and it had suffered a loss earlier around the year. Not enough with that, I agreed to a 7.5% fee, that they charge per transaction, now that fee is 11.5%.! When you want to convert USD to EUR, to pay out to your EU bank, you will lose 100EUR compared to normal market rate (You can't pay out as USD anymore..). Before it would take 5-7 days for a withdrawal to be paid, now it takes much longer..
Payop was good in the beginning.. right now, not so good. Hopefully they will come back, and offer competitive services again. They should process payments as USD, so merchants don't lose money whenever RUB currency is sanctioned, or loses value.
Also not a big fan of them removing reviews here on their Trustpilot. Appreciate the feedback from your customers, and use it to improve your services.
For now, I would recommend staying away from their services, there's other similar payment processors out there, who can process as USD, and give you more rest. Good luck
Good service. Excellent manager. I am very glad to cooperate with PayOp
Very useful payment getaway for freelancers
We have been part of Payop for the last two months and they have been okay so far. The customer service is fantastic and that’s due to us having one of the best kind and a helpful account manager Vlad Liskov. He has made our lives easy. But the concern we have is the high exchange rate that we are charged. If we can be offered a USD channel for processing and withdrawal Payop would go a long way, especially with Account managers like Vlad Liskov. One of the main reason to partner with Payop is Vlad.
I bought 3 games and all service and support are good i had a problem with one purchase and they solved me
On 23.05 around 2000 euros was taken from my payop reserve, contacted support multiple times via skype and email, got no answer what happened. Currently, I have 1 refund issued in the last 6 months and 0 chargebacks.
A ticket is still marked as, In progress, here is the last message I have received of support (Hello there,Sorry for delays. We have forwarded your request to the relevant department, kindly wait for an update.Best regards ) on 01 June, but by this date, I got no updates regarding my issue from anyone at PayOp.
Posting this review to get the attention of payop support team.
On 13.07 support told me that money is not missing. That is lie, and they are trying to take money of me for themself.I have cimplained to MAS and to UK financial authority, also filling up reports to visa and mastercard, i suggest you to do same, if your rolling reserve is taken away.
On 22.07 i have recived half of my money, after staff accused me first that i am liar, and after they blackmailed me with giving me either half of my stolen money,or not giving me anything. Everyone should avoid this service, they are terrible.
I was looking for a Payment processor like PayOp for almost a year and when I wanted to quit I finally found the perfect one for my business. They were quick to accept and verify my Business and Project.
Skype support is amazing, Anastasia always helps me up with anything related to my account and make sure everything is resolved quickly.
Withdrawals are very fast, it takes only 1-2 days for the funds to arrive on my bank account. Also, they've added Payoneer recently which helps even more with withdrawals.
Overall I am very satisfied with PayOp. If you struggle with payment processors i can only recommend!
Good place for high-risk industries.
Their decisions sometimes are just a little bit odd, however, they are constantly improving (which is good). There is a lot of areas for improvement, although I like their commitment and how they are trying to actually help their customers.
Thanks for your commitment, Ana.
My project was approved very quickly (2-3 days) and PayOp (Anastasia specifically) have helped me set up and enable new payment methods.
They have been responsive when it comes to support (Skype).
I was a bit skeptical about my customers adoption rate for the new payment methods but apparently the additional payment methods are used by my clients.
UPDATE 06.07.2020:
Recently something changed with PayOp. They are asking for absurd things like adding their logo in my website footer, even though their logo is already in the checkout. They're the only payment processor that asked for it. Feels like they just want to squeeze in a footer backlink from their merchants. They say its due to bank requirements, but when I asked for written proof that requires me to put the logo, they blanked me and suddenly im no longer required to add the logo, apparently.
In addition, they are denying withdrawals and are asking for information that's not even related to my operations. To quote:
"Kindly describe:
- What the product/service has been purchased. Please, provide invoices (if there are any);"
But I have not purchased anything? I am trying to withdraw money for the payments I received from my own customers on my website.
Good methods, pretty smooth settlement flow.
APS choice is key for us, so 5*
At first our 100% verified and approved project got rejected by their freaking compliance team after 1 month. Then after few days, I got an email saying your account is blocked. When asked for the reason and if the email was sent in error, below is how they treated a UK registered legal company:
"Hello,
It's not an error.
Please, be informed has been terminated. We ask you to do not open new accounts with PayOp in the future.
Best regards,
Risk team PayOp"
I mean do you really understand what you people are doing actually? Are you out of your minds or what? First you approve a project, then you reject it, then you close the account, and when asked for the reason, you become so much UN-PROFESSIONAL and afraid that you send these kinds of filthy emails to your clients.
100% UNETHICAL and UN-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY!
This is a good company with decent support who'll do their best to assist.
With plenty of methods, you'll have what to choose from.
Any problem can be discussed and solved in due course.
I'm happy my company works with PayOp, all in all.
Have been scammed by them. Had around 4000$ on my account from software sales. My account was blocked and fined because they think i used a not registered website in their system to proceed payments which clearly a lie. My account is fully blocked and my emails get ignored. I cant get my money back because they are located in Singapore so good luck with that.
Small information about me:
I got a small online presence where i sell softwares and licenses. I got one worker which handles the support. My whole sales volume is not high but considerable. (GmbH in Germany -> Ltd. with 25000€ start capital)
It took me quit a while to program a plugin for my webshop to handle payments through PayOp. Especially adding a security check on every payment was hard work. Unfortunately this work was just waste of them as i realized that PayOp is just eating fees over and over.
The main problem i got is that with all the fees of the payment, bank withdrawl etc. in total the fees are over 15%. I dont know why but the customers pay 5% fees for the credit card payment and of the order amount of 100€ for example i only receive 90-95€ on my wallet.
Also most banks dont trust their card handler so a huge portion of transactions get blocked by the payers bank. Instead of showing the customer a clear error they just provide a message that i has failed. With this you are losing a portion of potential customers, Who would make the work to write the support, ask why the credit card gets declined, wait for the reply, and then maybe buy with a other option? In the real world if you dont have a unique niche people will just get to the next site.
Ticket support ist bad. Their support staff on skype is more capable, maybe because they cant dodge questions like they do on the tickets.
I moved one, withdrawled all balance without the rolling reserve (which is locked for 180 days). If you look on the internet for a alternative, trust me you will find a lot of services which are much cheaper. It took me 30 minutes to implement a new better payment processor.
//edit: I saw they you have been reporting all negative reviews around 20% of all reviews in total. Feel free to report my one to so i can provide Trustpilot proof of usage.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for best support and everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They onboarded me with no site checks, no real KYC requirements and no contract signing which is already a weird thing but ok.
I started using Payop and after some months they started asking for proof of delivery of some bigger payments. After only sending them proof of one transaction i got told my account would be locked and funds would be frozen for 6 months (half a year). All the customers paid using Bancontact and iDEAL and thus they cannot chargeback. Payop is thus not at risk and has to pay me my money sooner or later anyways. But no, they're just holding it for 6 months because these not possible, never will existing chargebacks will happen.
Anyhow, i reached out to them again pleading to just release my funds and they still wanted proof of delivery for some transactions. So i spent 4 hours collecting evidence and sent it to them. With after 2 weeks just the same generic answer that they can't work with me and they are holding my funds for chargeback prevention for atleast 6 months. OH! Fun fact! They will actual email your customers and ask what they bought, how much they bought and a confirmation if they received the product.
Further red lights to stay away from them :
1. They assign Paysafecard acceptance abilities to private accounts which is against Paysafecard terms of use. This is actually illegal
2. Their bank Paysera blocked their account which explains the "bank problems".
3. If you have a European registered company Payop account and you people pay via your Payop plugin, they will see that payments are sent to "KOGROUP SAS". Which is a company in no way linked to Payop?
A purely racist compliance team
They verified all my details and when project details were sent to them, the declined it but the fact is that there are other similar businesses like mine whom they are catering their services.
The only difference is that they have a problem with my religion and believe that every muslim is a terrorist.
They just unprofessionally replied to me that due to some "inner policies" they have declined the project!
A real shame for such company with such racist thoughts!
Before wasting people's time, they should make it clear that they have their Inner Policies (based on what religion you are)
Like this, we would not have wasted out time with them by waiting which indeed caused us a huge loss by trusting such bunch of racists.
Will make sure they hear from my Lawyers and will update the same on trustpilot
Thank you so much PayOp team ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.I am happy to work with your company. Thanks !
