The delays have been frustrating for everyone involved, and we appreciate your patience. Unfortunately, this situation has been shaped by ongoing legal and regulatory developments that are outside of our control. While the FCA has developed a compensation scheme, it is currently facing legal challenges from a small number of lenders, who argue the scheme goes too far, and from Consumer Voice, who argue it does not go far enough for consumers. These competing challenges have created further uncertainty and delayed progress for everyone involved.
Regarding any compensation, we want to reassure you that we only apply the deductions clearly set out in our agreement with clients. We do not make arbitrary reductions, and any applicable taxes or agreed fees will always be explained transparently.
We appreciate that words alone won't ease your concerns after such a long wait. Like you, we want to see this matter resolved as quickly as possible and remain committed to progressing your claim as soon as the regulatory and legal process allows.

Communication has been spot on after the first initial phone call and emails gaining information to start the claim. I have been very satisfied with all aspects of the claims procedure.

I was pestered by PCP to make a claim
I was pestered by PCP to make a claim, then I was pestered even more, about 2 months ago I told them I was not pursuing any claim, didn't want to make a claim, to delete me completely and never call me again. Since then I have received one sometimes two calls a day, from PCP, I repeated the above every time, and blocked the number. I still get a call everyday, sick to death of it. How do I get deleted, who can I make a complaint to ? Worse thing I ever did, get involved with PCP, absolute bunch of cowboys who cannot understand a simple instruction, avoid like the plague.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the length of time these claims have been ongoing. Unfortunately, all discretionary commission (mis-sold car finance) complaints remain subject to the FCA's temporary pause while it reviews the wider industry position and awaits the outcome of ongoing legal proceedings.
The FCA has indicated that it expects to provide further clarity during 2026, with firms then being given timescales to review affected agreements and process any eligible claims. While we appreciate this is not the update customers are hoping for, the delays are unfortunately outside our control.
We continue to monitor developments closely and will contact all customers as soon as we receive further guidance regarding their claim.
