Check-in so slow, 2 h an 20 minutes to get the car. You need to give a deposit of 1.800 euros ou buy an additional insure after I ha paid full coverage already. Never again!

NEW: it was not as transparent as I thought, the security conditions are hidden, so the price is low just because they usually include a not very safety insurance.

Do not rent with them, bad service and poor customer service. I have booked with them, after the rental car reject me to give me the car. Pepecar refuse to refund any kind of money...stay away

Absolute scam. Do not work with this company.

I made a reservation for 88 euros only to find that the actual rental company they reserved with added extra conditions to the rental that I was not informed of before. Cancelled the reservation 10 minutes later, what do you know, the cancellation cost is also 88 euros.

No way to get in touch with them and after a week or so I get an email saying I am entitled to a reimbursement of €0 and it will be processed soon. Companies like these make my blood boil.

Find yourself a good local car company, don't work with these parasites.

Terrible! They withhold 1100 euro from your credit card with the option of giving it back after 30 days, as insurance policy. If you don't want this to happen, you will have to pay 80 euro of insurance of the company from which you rent the car. All this out of 36 euros of rent. Furthermore it is impossible to cancel the reservation on line and once you call they tell you don't have right to any refund. Horrible service.

In december 2019 I paid them a 3 days car in Gran Canarian Island! I got the confirmation, everything OK

I have arrived in Gran Canaria, and whent to pick the car in the airport!
The person from the renting car started to make me the paper work and at the end I had to pay the franchise (no problem, I was prepared: 3 credit cards, 2 from me, 1 my fiancee, the rezervation was on her name)

Only now, the adventure begins, KEEP reading:

But what do you know ? Her credit card wasn't accepted, let's do it with my credit card, this is in the policy that it is not accepted to use other credit card, which is not on the name of the person who booked the car!
Ok....let's find a solution:
- cash: NOT POSSIBLE
- call at the bank to see if the card has any issues: NO PROBLEM WITH THE CREDIT CARD
- call Pepecar: I HAVE FIND A PHONE NUMBER, VERY EXPENSIVE, BUT CALLED ANYWAY, I HAVE BEEN ETERNITY WAITING ON THE CAL ... THE LADY WAS VERY FRIENDLY, I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM, SHE SAID ME TO CHANGE THE BOOKING ON MY NAME (PAYMENT OF THE CAR WAS MADE ON MY CREDIT CARD BY THE BEGINNING, ONLY RESERVATION ON THE NAME OF MY FIANCE), AND NEEDED TO WHAIT A CONFIRMATION FOR THAT
I HAVE EXPECTED A HALF OF DAY AT THE AIRPORT WAITING FOR THE CONFIRMATION MAIL!
After more hours of whaiting, I decided to rent another car, from another car dealer.
- after the city break was finished: MAILED THE PEPCAR COMPANY FOR A FULL RAMBURSEMENT, BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE THEYR SERVICE, BUT DIDN'T GET EVEN 1 €

DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES!

I gave one star because I can’t less, we rented a car with them and when we arrive to took it they didn’t accept American Express, pepecar didn’t inform about it and if we he to take the car we had to pay 3 times the first price. We called to help assistant and they told us that was our fault and problem. Was really upsetting

Good website, very clear

Smooth website, went to Sixt. Easy to pick up/drop off the car. High blocked reservation.

Car was better than expected but we waited over one hour for pick up as there is no office at the airport.

They let me pay the car with a card that's not accepted at the desk, so once at the desk I had to pay the full insurance with my debit card cause amex wasn't accepted. This wasn't advertised on the website, and increased my cost from 16 to 126 euros

Super company. Super people. Friendly. Helpful. Very competitive prices.

very good experience with Pepecar, good value for money

i have used pepecar before and each time they recommend Firefly the service has been excellent. However, do not use Marbesol if that is the cheapest on offer because that company is just a bunch of crooks who will cheat you out of your money.... stick with Firefly wherever possible

The process of renting is very easy. I got the car I was expecting and at a very competitive fare.

For me has been a great experience cheap options and great services.

I didnt have any hidden cost, only thing to consider is that the fee they block on your card was high and i didnt see it until. I finished the resevation.

Other than that i will. Continue using it
