Terrible user experience. Cannot use gift and no usable customer service to resolve. I don’t want to upset the gifter, so I. Will just let the gift go unclaomwd and unused. Don’t use perfectgift.

The balance on my card does not add up. I've waited over 12 days for transactions to post incase there was a fee I'm not aware of, but the difference is over $20. I've also been charged 2 monthly transaction fees, and when trying to call customer support its only automated, and cannot dispute it. Very poor, not trustworthy, do not recommend

Terrible experience, almost scam-like. Received $25 Visa perfectgiftcard, didn't use it immediately and when I was ready to use a few months later balance was down to $0... you get charged $3.0 every month (for nothing) so either use it immediately or pay huge fees (on my $25 gift car -which is pretty standard- 12.5% per month on fees!) and lose all funds quickly.

I wish I could give this Zero Stars.They are CRIMINALS. I bought these gift cards to gift to my volunteers at my non-profit. They went to use the cards and there is no money left on the cards due to mysterious monthly fees taken even though the volunteers hadn't activated their cards. I wrote them several emails - NO RESPONSE - I waited to speak to someone on the phone - spent an hour on the phone - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO HELP - the company is robbing their customers. NEVER BUY THESE GIFT CARDS. IM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW.

Useless waste of money. The Perfect Gift Card will set you off on a negative to start with monthly $3 charges from the time it is purchased at a store - you are better-off gifting cash. Received the card for a birthday gift and decided to finally use it, opened the packaging and went online to check the balance - 78% of the card has been depleted by $3 monthly charges and the card has never been used! We will NEVER buy these again.

The card carries $3/month service fee from the moment you activate it, and it doesn't matter if you use it or not. So, if you don't use it, the balance will be zero sooner or later.

We got bunch pf gift cards for our engagement party back in 2017 and kept them for a day we move to new house to use them; so, CAD$600 from Vanilla company and they all replaced without any issue, but CAD$300 from the perfect gift , and same as other mentioned, they said the card is 0 balance due to monthly maintenance fee of $3; SCAM, BRIBERY, THEFT.
Get the gift card (Visa or Master) from those marked as Vanilla; they will reactivate for you just with a small activation fee years after expiring

Same as everyone else. I cannot believe they're still in business and/or are still operating this way.
They agreed to put the money back on my card but they wanted my home address and foolishly, I provided them with it. My mistake.
I don't trust these types of scammy organisations. Who knows what they'll do with my data??
And although they agreed to put the money back, I have my doubts.
Ps. Today April 7, I still haven’t received the email confirming they will be adding the money back. A scam, always a scam.

DO NOT BUT THIS CARD!, this company has never heard that the new laws state that there is NO expiry!! What they do is charge a $3 per month penalty FEE, after the original date of expiry on the card. So you end up with Zero balance after a while! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

ZERO stars. I got a gift card, that I kept for a rainy day, that was today. I went to check the balance. Good thing I did before going to buy groceries. The card balance is at 0. I have not used it. I tried to get a human on the phone but they have a terrible system. They are a scam and VISA shouldn't be working with them.

Complete scam. 3 dollar fee PER MONTH after having the card for a year

I would give ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS. They steal your money. Received this card as a gift and saved it to buy something bigger. Went to use it and it had a zero balance because they charge a maintenance fee from when it was purchased/activated after 12 months of not using. Called the call centre and the guy was rude and very unprofessional and just kept repeating it’s the terms and conditions and was explained when purchased. I said who explains at the self checkout. It was a gift. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. Just send an e-transfer from now on instead of buying from this terrible company.

Zero Stars, Don't buy! I received perfect gift visa card as a gift, saved it to use someday. When I went to use it I discovered that they charge monthly maintenance fees till zero balance. A waste of money! Visa should not attach their good name to this product.

This company is stealing peoples money and it should be illegal. Went to use my card to only find out it has a zero balance because every month that it’s not used you lost $3 in fees. Tell EVERYONE one to NEVER buy this CARD!! This is a Scam.

SCAM they took the entire balance of my gift card in fees before I could even use it although the card was still valid. I did not spend a single cent and they took $50 is fees. Never purchase these gift cards. I called customer service and they did nothing but say too bad. This is theft.

the worst experience ever, i never used my card and never activated that online, although it specifically said it should be activated online, it has a 50$ credit, but when i called the customer service regarding the expiry date, he said there is no limit on it!

Attempted to use my card and it's expired. I didn't know there was an expiry date as it was covered with a sticker. Just got off the phone with the call center and even after waiting and speaking with the manager he just continued to repeat the terms and policies. This company is unprofessional and do not care about their customers. I explained that this is unethical and morally wrong. I would not recommend this for anymore. They stated that after expiry date which you could not see because the stickers on it take they off $3 a month from the balance. As well they stated that the store that sold it should have explained the terms and policies and that they are printed on the labeling. I feel like they're trying to put blame on anyone except their self.

I have ever used the card before the expire date, the balance has showed 0, because of the monthly charge, the monthly charge is hidden in the footprint but not on the card, very bad experience with this card,
