I had a disappointing experience with…
I had a disappointing experience with Pettable. Nowhere on the website did I see that you must already have your pet before obtaining a letter. In fact, their FAQ specifically states “or a new pet you adopt or rescue" - which directly conflicts with what I was told during my consultation.
The consultation made it clear that the opposite was required, which was frustrating and left me feeling that the information provided on the website was misleading or inconsistent.
On a positive note, the refund process was extremely easy and straightforward, and I appreciate how quickly that was handled.
Overall, I would recommend making the website and consultation requirements consistent so customers know exactly what to expect before paying for a service.

I had such a great experience with this service! My psychiatrist stopped providing ESA letters, and I needed an updated one. I was already extremely stressed about the situation and even tried seeing two different psychiatrists in my area, but neither of them provided ESA documentation.
It was especially frustrating because my mental health struggles are well documented, and my animals genuinely play a huge role in my life. They are one of the reasons I keep trying, take care of myself, and do my best to stay okay.
While looking for a solution, I came across this website. I read through the reviews and decided to give it a try, especially because they offer a full refund if your letter isn’t accepted, so I felt like I really had nothing to lose.
I was completely open and honest with the doctor I worked with about my situation, my mental health, and the role my animals have in my life. She listened to me, and, like other professionals I've worked with in the past, agreed that having my animals with me is genuinely important for my well-being. She provided the documentation I needed without making the process unnecessarily stressful or complicated.
The entire process only took a few days, and most importantly, my letter was accepted! For anyone wondering, my landlord uses PetScreening.com, and everything went through just fine.

I had a very upsetting customer-service…
I had a very upsetting customer-service experience with Pettable today. I missed an ESA consultation because the provider’s call was intercepted by my call-screening service. I contacted customer service within minutes to explain what happened and reschedule.
During that call, the representative told me, in substance, that he had been willing to waive the rescheduling fee but no longer wanted to and that I did not “deserve” to have it waived because of how the conversation was going.
I ultimately paid the $30 fee and rescheduled, so this review is not about getting money back. My concern is how I was spoken to. A customer-service representative should not use a discretionary fee waiver as leverage or make a customer feel punished during a disagreement.
I have asked Pettable management to review the recorded call. I hope they actually listen to it and address how this interaction was handled.

Very satisfied with the service. All my inquiries were responded in a timely manner. When the property management company required extra verification the agent emailed with an explanation noting there was an additional charge and prepared an invoice which I then paid and was approved.

I live in California and my landlord…
I live in California and my landlord said no pets unless it's ESA. My Dr doesn't do ESA letters where I live and gave me info to look online. I came across pettable and saw good reviews. I was a little skeptical not going to lie. I chose my appt time for the following day and spoke with Dianzta and she asked me some questions and got the letter within hours I have a cat. Dogs it does take 30 days for the ESA letter to be sent. I sent the letter in and good to go. I will be using them again in the future.
