Hello Lyndon,
I'm sorry to hear that the size that you've ordered is not the correct size and we'd be more that glad to resolve this situation for you if you contact us. We have multiple sizes available of the t-shirt that you ordered in either smaller or larger than the one you ordered so we'd be able to supply exactly what you need.
At the moment nearly all of our clothing is provided by one supplier. The size guides for each type of clothing available or soon to be available on our website are provided by this supplier. The measurements provided are in a 'half-chest' or 'across chest' method, meaning that measurements are given for the width of the garment when laid flat. As an example an X-Large T-shirt given measurement is 22" so the T-shirt would provide a skin tight fit on someone with a 44" chest measurement. Depending on how you would like a garment to fit, you should select the size using this information in the size guide page on our website.
However, as some musicians/brands use or request specific clothing manufacturers (Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, etc.) even though most measure the same, there can be slight variations of up to 2cm in the measurements. This is stated in the size guides to make everyone aware before a purchase as we want to be as clear and transparent as possible.
