Quick and Reliable Service

I've placed numerous orders with A1 Equipment over the past two years and am delighted with both the products and the service received. On one occasion, an item from my order was omitted in error but they quickly rectified the issue and my missing item was with me the very next day. As a candy floss and popcorn machine owner, A1 have products I haven't seen elsewhere and have the best prices around. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Late delivery disappointing

Paid for next day delivery and only part of my order came next day with no correspondence from the seller then just an apology with no resolution offered until I had to tell them to refund my delivery charge which they did do after me contacting them.

Not next day delivery

Placed order for popcorn and marshmallows first thing Monday morning. The booking confirmation stated next day delivery. Nothing arrived on Tuesday. Only the marshmallows arrived on Wednesday. Finally the popcorn was delivered on Thursday. When I contacted the company on Tuesday and Wednesday about the missing items, they just replied that the order was out for delivery. There was no acknowledgment that it was not next day delivery or that the order would come in multiple deliveries.

A pretty diabolical experience

My initial review is below:

After getting no reply on email or phone I left the below review, A1 then replied and it’s been all smooth sailing from there.

They replaced the entire order, which came 24 hours later, I now have a receptive email I can use when I need to.

Rather than re-writing my review, I am leaving the below, so others can see the issue and outcome.

I would 100% use A1 again.

A pretty diabolical experience, ordered nachos and popcorn on Monday for delivery Tuesday.

Nachos arrived, out of date, popcorn we are still waiting on nearly a week later.

But you think, I’ll contact them to get things put right, no answer to emails, nobody answers the phone whether it’s 9 in the morning, 1pm in the afternoon or 5 at night.

Would never use again.

Had the strangest experience with these…

Had the strangest experience with these guys, placed an order, only for it to be cancelled without any explanation. When I followed up, I was told they don't sell to businesses, despite the fact that they are a wholesaler for businesses.... Its confusing and frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't seem to follow its own business model. Poor communication and lack of clarity made this a very disappointing experience!

Slow delivery and customer relations

Ordered before dinner time and the "superfast next day" delivery took 2 days.... and that was only half the order. Still waiting to recieve gaint bag of popcorn kernals and all the wooden knoves, forks and spoons. Do not use or relie on there commitment to a quick next day delivery. I would allow atleast 7 days. Now having to go buy the missing items from makro.
