IKEA customer refused delivery by Postnord

I made an order with IKEA.se and they sent it via "varubrev" to my post box in Hammarby Sjöstad 12066. Instead Postnord sent it to Nacka at 13139. I am mobility limited and cannot go to Nacka. I asked Postnord to send it to COOP Hammarby 12065, my nearest Postnord ombud but they refused. Postnord doesn't care at all about customers.

This is the worst postal service ever

This is the worst postal service ever! Never on time, only delivers to private address's in town every other day. Tracking numbers never work and are inaccurate. Shame you are forced to use such a horrible postal service sometimes.

Useless

As per usual, when you've paid for home delivery, they pretend that they couldn't deliver the parcel and that they were unable to contact me. I was at home and had no missed calls or notifications. Now I have to collect my heavy parcel at a service point instead. Assholes.

Why is it that they can keep getting away with this?

Unfair charges despite clear customs declaration


I was asked to pay 175 SEK for a declaration fee even though the package clearly had a CN22 customs form attached, marked as a gift with a value of 30 British pounds. Everything was properly declared, yet I was still charged. This feels completely unjustified.

It’s incredibly frustrating and makes it unnecessarily difficult to send something simple to a relative. The handling feels incompetent at best. If you can avoid dealing with them—do.

Postnord pretends I'm not home so they can skip delivery

Once again, like many times before, I am home waiting for a parcel because I have to show ID; and instead of ringing my doorbell I get a notification that package couldn't be delivered. Now I'm going to have to go to some ställe and pick up the heavy package.

Worthless company ever... it happened 3 times in a row now, I have paid for my parcels to be delivered home, but they're not bothered to do their job... when I called the post nord customer service to ask about this situation, a guy picked up the phone, he didn't sound very interested and bacicaly sounded like he was picking his nose and yawning.

Either won't let you choose delivery. Or won't tell that you have a delivery.

First order I could not choose a delivery date because a server error was being returned. By the time customer service replied it was too late and the parcel was "sent back" to the sender. Which they did not receive. At least not within 5 months.

Sender sent a new parcel. PostNord did not send me any notification of the parcel needing a delivery date until 40 days after wanting it (can see this from the tracking history). Guess what happens? Yes. The parcel is being sent back.

Been waiting for my parcel since July 2024. Here's a tip: Don't wait for me to choose when for it to be delivered, just deliver my €200 parcel.

Completely unprofessional! They lost my package!

PostNord is unreliable – poor service and no accountability!

I ordered a valuable package from the USA via FedEx International Connect, but unfortunately, PostNord seems to be involved in handling and tracking the shipment—at least here in the Netherlands.

For over a month, there was no tracking update on my package. I contacted both FedEx and PostNord via email twice, yet neither company bothered to respond. Eventually, my package was lost.

This is completely unprofessional! On top of their already high shipping fees, they impose unexpected charges and taxes, yet fail to provide the basic service of delivering packages. I cannot recommend PostNord to anyone looking for a reliable shipping company.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Impossible to navigate. Support is useless. And they can't even deliver packages to the right address, and then don't help to sort out their mistake. I hope I never have to use this incompetent post service ever again in my life.

PostNord is simply lying

For the second time this month, I’ve received a message saying that my package won’t be delivered because Postnord doesn’t know the "portkod" and couldn’t contact me. This is a blatant lie— the "portkod" is clearly provided in the app, no one has called me, and the service I paid for has not been fulfilled. An unreliable company.

If you have the option to choose a different courier for your package, do it. Don’t choose Postnord.

I was tracking a package all the way to…

I was tracking a package all the way to my mailbox and even got the notification to say it had been delivered, I was home, so I happily went out to fetch the package. It was not there so I searched around and did not see it by the front door so. what should I do I contact Post Nord this was not easy. they then tell to wait two business days and if it still does not show up, I need to contact the sender they can complain. absolute rubbish Post Nord lost my parcel at the door, but they take no responsibility for it, because my package came from overseas, I am sure the sender probably does not really care that I did not receive it when Post Nord has it registered as delivered. As far as I am concerned it has been stolen by somebody at Post Nord, and they will not even investigate.

Postnord is the worst company ever!

Postnord is the worst company ever. Everytime I call them I get really badly met. Also when they have been acting wrongly they cannot excuse themselves and meet the poor client well and solve the situation! Instead they said you talk badly and hang up and tell you that you lie ti them when telling them about previous communication with them! Worst communication and worst help to the client! No servicemind at all. So when you send something do not ever ever send through Postnord!!!! Catastrofic company!

unacceptable service

the service of this delivery company is unacceptable. Once more i’ve been all afternoon at home waiting to receive my package and they finally send a note saying it couldn’t be delivered as they could not reach me. They did it even come to my place

I have used Postnord alot to I trusted…

I have used Postnord alot to I trusted them to send my passport internationally. They lost it, put it me on the complaint queue even from customer service you can get false reponse, one said your complaint under investigation the other after some days said no it is just on the queue. I am so frustrated, I need to travel but they behave toward me as I lost my Amazon parcel!!!

PostNord is getting worse

PostNord is getting worse, in recent months, our mail has been put in someone else's mail box, and we get other people mail in our mail box, this has caused a problem for which I want PotNord to pay. I got a letter from Kronafogden because of an unpaid bill, I never got this bill because PostNord sent it to another address, this has happened 3 times now!
