NO DELIVERY, NO REFUND!!

Ordered my daughters stocking fillers on 27th November and still have not received my order. I have tried to communicate with the company several ways but get nowhere, seems as though they have ceased trading? I have asked for a refund which is being ignored and now its too late to order anything else in time for Christmas. The company is citing delivery courier problems yet at no point was any potential delay communicated to me until I chased where my order was. I have used this company previously and had no issue so didn't think to look at reviews, I really wish I had done. AVOID POUNDTOY AT ALL COSTS!

EDIT ADD- (Look at your original email! They attached a tracking number! If u track the code it states this was delivered beginning of December!!! Which it wasn’t !!

Came here to review you but see many others have same problem! Email states UPTO 10 days for dispatch due to warehouse move - this is lies!!! I ordered 26/11 and it’s nearly been a month and it still hasn’t even been dispatched yet. I had one response that wasn’t a generic response and quite frankly it was rude. “We have already answered this, it will be dispatched within 10 days” not paying ANY attention to the fact the 10 days were up. From then, they just keep sending out generic ones….
Ordered here for past two years as they have been great previously. Perfect place for stocking fillers but the service is shocking

Same as everyone else

Same as everyone else. Got a message about Black Friday so ordered all my stocking fillers from them, emailed a few times trying to find out if they will be here for Christmas or do I have to sort something else out. The email you get back says anything ordered after the 12th of December won’t get here in time. I ordered 24th of November and still not sent. Disgraceful. Just tell people it’s not coming and refund them instead of emailing them trying to sell more stuff that won’t come.

Ordered 23/11. Told 10 working days due to a warehouse move.
06/12 emailed, no response. Tried to contact via Facebook and phone call. Nothing. No response, no goods and no communication. AWFUL just before Xmas.

Shocking!!

Absolutely gutted, ordered stocking fillers on the 25th of November, 5-7 day delivery guarantee, still no update, tracking or communication even though I've sent numerous emails! I won't be spending any more of my money at Poundtoy!

Terrible Company. Do not order!

Placed my order on the 8th of a November and I’ve still not received it 6 weeks later! Have tried phoning, emailing and online chat but no response other than an automatic reply. I understand things can happen and wouldn’t mind waiting if I had any confirmation that they were actually going to eventually dispatch it but to have no customer service is terrible! They’re still sending out emails to make purchases too which is even worse!! No idea if I’ll ever get a refund now either! I’ll never place another order with them!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! Ordered placed on 26.11.2022 for stocking fillers and have had no delivery, the only communication has been once I chased the order but they can’t give a dispatch date or guarantee Christmas delivery now, such a sham! Who knows when I’ll be likely to receive a refund and due to the poor service it’s too late to order from anywhere else! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

5 star to 1 star for the…

Have ordered from Pound Toy for the last three years in a row with no issues at all... until this year! Made an order in November with the promise of a 5-7 day delivery timescale with no sign of my order and absolutely zero contact from the company except one automated email which requested customers not to chase up their missing orders and to only email unless they wanted a refund. Completely unacceptable way to treat customers and I certainly will never buy from this company again and will discourage others as much as possible.

They do not fulfill in chronological order!

I am still waiting on my order! It has been nearly a month and it still is ‘unfulfilled’. I don't know how they are working out their orders because my sister and friend placed an order after me and at least theirs is in transit. But you would think they would fulfil the orders that were placed first.

I have reached out several times but every time I get an automated email saying “we are trying to get it out to you and you will only know when we send an email”. I have all my kids stocking fillers and a couple of gifts in my order so Christmas may be ruined if it doesn't come. And it would be completely pointless if it comes after Christmas. I’m sure trying to return them will be as shambolic as getting them delivered has been.

It’s a shame because I have ordered with them before and even though it took a little long (2weeks) to come I was satisfied with the items I ordered.

Avoid!

Ordered stocking fillers for Christmas on 30/11 and they have still not arrived!! It was stated in the confirmation email they could be a delay of up to 10 days, but this is shambolic. Wish I had seen the reviews before ordering. As many other families, I am not in a position to throw money down the drain!

Unfulfilled order for over two months…

I have ordered from PoundToy for the last couple of Christmases with no issues and I have also previously recommended this website to family members to use because of their value for money and decent service. However, I placed an order on 10th October for Christmas stocking fillers and only followed up on 10th November (as I ordered in good time for Christmas) but received a generic reply about an issue with a new warehouse although my order had now “been released” into said new warehouse. Come 10th December, still no order, so I emailed again and explained that I had been patient but would appreciate some transparency as it’s been two months that they’ve been sat on my money; not fulfilled the order and made no effort to contact me directly to explain the situation. Part of their response this time was (copied from their email): “Please understand this of course not the Customer Service we would like to provide or the overall level of service we expect PoundToy customers to receive, this is purely a reflection of the situation we are in due to our warehouse move let down.” Now, don’t get me wrong, that is unfortunate but from a customer’s perspective, there is nothing on the website to stop people buying or to alert them to any issues so they continue to trade (or pretend to) while they are not fulfilling orders that are months old. I am now in the predicament of thinking, should I cancel and find my children’s stocking fillers elsewhere at this late date when there are strikes and delays with a lot of couriers or do I hold out until the final moment to see if it will in fact arrive before Christmas Day? So disappointed and really poorly handled by a company I have previously recommended and bought from (at least!) every Christmas and would have continued to do so but all confidence has been lost at this point.

Absolute cowboys, lies, lies, lies

Absolute cowboys, blaming evri for moving stock from one warehouse to the new premesis,
Excuse after excuse, no tracking available, stock levels, lost orders, just take a look at their Facebook page, every post reply from customers is angry ones, i have been waiting for my order since October, for haliween no less, bloody cowboys.

Zero customer service and communication

This probably my 7+ order and I am the same as everyone else. Almost a month since ordering and zero communication. Asked for an update or refund and eventually received a generic response.
Can’t get my items and can’t get my money. Getting very close for what should be sticking fillers 🤬
