Prentice is An Excellent Local Company
Prentice was recommended to us and they have been excellent. Anna who runs the business was lovely to deal with over the phone and via emails. The whole process was very smooth and the day of the installation went very well. Jamie and the other men were all very polite and professional and our new woodburner is fabulous. We would highly recommend Prentice!

Great company to deal with.
Prentice Stove Installation have been a great company to deal with right from the beginning. From the initial survey through to installation I can't praise them enough. Great advice on where to site our stove; great communication regarding the installation; a clean, tidy job completed by their lovely staff followed by a guide on using the stove. I highly recommend them.

Stove and tiled fire place with floating slate mantlepiece and slate hearth
From initial enquiry to install, Dougie was really helpful and took time to explain the benefits of different stoves, surrounds etc.
The price was very competitive, and the team kept us well informed. We couldn't be present during the installation due to the Covid pandemic, but Dougie sent many photographs as the work progressed, and are delighted with the finished job.
The house was left clean and tidy.

Perhaps premature, as we haven’t lit it yet ! They did a great looking job , took care of floors etc , and all finished off nicely. Work is of great quality . A complete installation of flu liner , opening up a boarded up fireplace , enlarging the opening , tiling, plastering and fitting the stove .
