Worth the Wait
There was a long wait for a large (collective) consignment of plants to reach Northern Ireland, but the condition of the two peonies that I ordered was better than that from local nurseries - healthy plants in strong and well protected pots. Happy and will return for more in due course.

The phone number doesn't work.
Contact via the website (reply time stated at 7 days at peak times) acknowledged I'd get a reply within 10 days. After 2 weeks still heard nothing.
Direct emails to company bounce back as Undeliverable.
Totally unacceptable.

I can’t fault the customer service from Primrose Hall Peonies. They went the extra mile to ensure all the EU regulations were met and made the trip to NI to deliver the plants to me in person. Fantastic Customer Service!

A delightful purchase.
The plant was packed very well in a sturdy box, but it would have been helpful if the opening instructions were on the out side of the box, not inside. (bit point less)
It took a long time from placing the order to receiving it.
The plant was very healthy, now we look forward to next year to see if the colour of the bloom is as good as the picture.

A lovely plant & good service
Peony took a little while to arrive, but it showed up in a huge box, with good supports, and excellent instructions for planting. The plant itself was in good condition, and has taken well to where it's been planted in my garden! I'd absolutely order from here again.

We choose 4 plants, but only two of the original ones were delivered, there were two others sent out, but they rectified this with sending out one of the missing plants (other not available), and did a partial refund for missing plant.

The peonie was not as large as expected and one of the branches were broken, thought it would be twice the size and have more than 2 branches.It would have cost more in postage than what was paid for plant.

We apologize if DPD broke one of the branches in transit, please be assured though that the plant will not be affected by this as Peony season is over from end of June but it will establish well in your garden. Regarding the size, we hard-prune the plants every year to deliberately keep them small. This means that the plant is stronger, has better shape and (importantly) is easier to ship! This is why we give out plants a 2 year guarantee as it can take a year for the plants to establish in a garden and usually produce flowers the following year.

The plant was great quality although a little smaller than expected. Unfortunately the website was not great and despite many attempts failed to reset the pass word.
Also bought the special peony fertilizer but to early to tell if there are any benefits.

Thank you for your review. Some plants can be a little smaller but the 5 year growth is there and is has all the nutrients to then establish in your daughters garden ready for next flowering peony season. The password rest email that is automatically sent can end up in junk mail unfortunately.

However I wasn't notified of the delivery date in advance. The only communication from Primrose Hall, save for an automatic reply after sale, was after the plant had actually been delivered. It was a good job I was actually at home - some notice of the delivery would have been helpful.
