Really disappointed

Really disappointed. I used this site to book a lounge. The company has took my payment twice, no email for confirmation and the airport lounge said I wasn’t booked in. Terrible service. Hoping to hear back from the customer service team!

**Update: I got my payment back, didn’t get to use the service I wanted and the customer team replied asking me to take down my review, in a very unique manner. This very much clarifies for me that I am still disappointed with my first encounter of the company. Its a shame.

Dear Courtney,

You contacted customer support on Saturday evening to inform us that you had paid twice for a lounge and had not received a booking confirmation. The only way our payment system would take a payment twice is if a payment was submitted twice and, as I explained, no money was taken from your account - your transaction was put on hold pending authorisation that for some reason, failed. What you didn’t tell us is that you were actually at the airport at the time you tried to book the lounge. Lounges require a minimum 24 hours pre-booking notice in any case.

Priority Booker contacted you back the next morning, approximately 14 hours after your initial enquiry - this was well within our stated response support time. We contacted you on a Sunday morning to try and assist even though this was outside our normal operating hours. We informed you that your payment method had failed twice and so no booking was ever made, and no money was ever taken either, so we released the hold on the payment which simply disappears after a few days (bank dependent); we advised you to use a different payment method to secure your booking as at this point we did not know that you were trying to book from the airport and had already travelled. Had we known that at the time we would not have advised this as you cannot prebook a lounge for the same day.

You state in your review that we never made contact with you and our customer service is “terrible”, yet in subsequent conversations through our customer support desk you say you did receive our reply (but it was obviously too late to assist you as you were trying to book the lounge from the airport).

Priority Booker responded to your enquiry well within our published response time and on a Sunday (outside our customer support hours). We therefore respectfully refute this inaccurate and misleading review.

Terrible company they charge more with discounts than booking direct with airport lounge I don’t recommend and I I could give 0 stars I would do not join

Elise, we are having this review investigated as it doesn't constitute a review of our service. We do not advertise the 'cheapest prices' anywhere in our material, in fact, we do the exact opposite. Our marketing reads, "price isn't everything, service matters". And we do this because we prioritise service over price. It is well documented in the airport parking sector that hundreds of agents/suppliers offer very cheap rates only to provide a diabolical service. Google 'airport parking complaint/disaster/scam' or similar and you will find no shortage of these news articles; people using their backyards as car parks, parking cars on residential roads, leaving windows open, speeding up and down motorways, and worse. The unfortunate and paradoxical reality of this is that airport parking has A) a very poor reputation in general and B) is an almost exclusively price-driven market. It is also entirely unregulated. We at Priority Booker often wonder why a customer with a £150,000 luxury vehicle would choose to go with an obscure airport car park over a verified and approved car park just to save all of £5-10 over a 2 week holiday. But it happens every day. Of course, when it comes to two agents selling the same product, price can also vary depending on several factors. Pricing on parking and lounges is not centrally controlled ie the owner of the car park or lounge can amend their pricing whenever they see fit, with no notice to their agents. In this case, the owner will always be able to instantly undercut their agents, resulting in all agents having a higher price than the product owner. The owner of the product does have the ability to remotely alter the agent pricing but that would defeat the point of their price drop - to channel sales directly to them and not through the agents. Typically a supplier would do this when availability is low, as suppliers tend to use agents to 'back fill' their space when the direct sales are not plentiful. So, it is entirely possible that we will not have the lowest prices at all times, though our VIP members do get the lowest prices *we* can offer (not lowest in *market*, just lowest *we* can offer, meaning we make no profit on the sale). This is the trade off for our membership service which is paid annually, to get a pricing model that passes our profit to you. We do also state in our material that this membership service is ideal for frequent travellers, as candidly it is possible to buy an annual membership, but only use it once and not save money. However this all talks about price, not service. As an agent we are the ONLY one in the UK that is Trading Standards Approved and holds the BUY WITH CONFIDENCE badge, meaning we have been independently vetted and reviewed by multiple people over a period of time in order to gain the accreditation and this is something we must do annually in order to retain it. No agent in the country other than Priority Booker holds this accreditation. We aim to respond to customers within 72 hours in general, but often do so within an hour. When a customer has an issue like a change of vehicle, getting lost, making last minute alterations etc, we do everything we can in our power to negotiate these changes with the suppliers, and more often than not we are able to accommodate last minute changes that would otherwise come with a fee, or a flat no. Not every time, but most of the time. On top of this, we personally assess every product we sell to ensure they are up to standards of 'would I personally use this service for myself?' and if the answer is no, then you will not find this product in our aggregated list of results. Some agents will simply list ALL products available on the market and claim that it is *your* responsibility for making the right choice on which product you choose, as they are 'only an agent' offering you a list, for comparison. In addition to these benefits of using Priority Booker, our prices are also, very often, the best in the market.

Priority Booker for lounges…

I have used Priority Booker for lounges several times with no problems. I booked lounges for 6 people for a birthday trip and forgot to log in to my account to maximise the discount. Sent customer service an email said it was my mistake at 1103; by 1250 I had a reply and they had fixed my error. Great service, well done John and the team.

Do not use for parking

I will certainly not use priority booker for parking again.

When we called as instructed prior to arrival at Heathrow there was no record of our booking. We the waited 25 mins from arrival at Heathrow for the company to arrive to get the car. This 25 minute had a big impact on our journey through the airport.
Having confirmed the new time of arrival with the driver we called once our luggage was collected exactly as asked. We were told there were no drivers, as soon as they have one that they will get to us. No time scale given but told it usually takes 25 mins from calling to getting our car and there was no time scale on the drivers arrival.

Firstly this is not what we purchased. We purchased priority parking… and frankly this is anything but. We also booked with priority booker and not with “happy days meet and greet” who have the most terrible google reviews.
This means that after a transatlantic night flight we are unable to get back to our children.
25 min delay on arrival 40 mins so far on collection. Oh and I just got a notification that the driver is speeding! Priority? I don’t feel that way!

I will use purple parking in future.

Dear Sarah. You booked to arrive at the airport at 6am, with instructions to call when you are 30 minutes away. We have checked with the car park and you called at 7am and the car was collected at 7.25. If you had followed the procedure, the driver would have been there to meet you on your arrival.

Your return was booked for 12, but you called to have your car returned at 10am and the car was returned to 10.25. The instructions were to call when you have collected your baggage leaving you time to get to the meeting point and meet driver with your car.

Instructions for changing booking details are to email support at Priority Booker or to email the car park directly, neither of which happened.

Based on your experience, you demanded a full refund as a minimum even though the car park have responded to your call in a timely manner and your car has been parked for a week!

Why go anywhere else

John was so helpful when I needed to cancel my booking. I only started using PB two months ago and have found it so easy and always cheaper than anywhere else.

Great customer service and very helpful. I had a problem with my flight and I was not able to use the lounge that I booked. John was very helpful and gave me a credit, so I can enjoy a new lounge. Highly recommend this service

Highly recommend this company all the…

Highly recommend this company all the way through they have been 💯 satisfaction I didn’t book the cancellation cover so when my daughter’s wedding was cancelled I asked for a credit note and this was given straight away. I have emailed a number of times and they respond straight away their customer service is excellent. I keep changing the times and straight away fine all done. Excellent customer service well done

Terrible service and definitely won’t…

Terrible service and definitely won’t be using these again. Due to traffic and having travelled for hours, I was 40 minutes late dropping off the car on departure. The staff made me feel like I have done wrong and charged me £20 fee. On return, I called them at the exact time we had planned but they were 55 minutes late bringing the car back to me. I wanted to charge them £20 but they said no. They then gave me a ticket to get out of the car park which cost me another £5.30. So what seems to be cheap and efficient is the total opposite. I tried these for the first time and can honestly say I will never use again. Stick with what you know it’s safer.

Flight cancellation

Our flight got cancelled last minute and priority booker were able to get a voucher from the VIP lounge despite being within the 24 hr cancellation period. We are very grateful

Be careful what you purchase

I purchased a discount code with Groupon, which was upto 35% discount for airport parking. I completed the details for the car park and entered my code then went on to completed the payment method....only to find NO DISCOUNT was given. Then on checking the airport prices I find Priority Booker charging more for the parking. I've had no satisfaction back from Priority Booker or Groupon regarding this matter so I'm very disappointed to say the least. I can't understand why they put these offers out there when it seems they don't want to follow through with them. Be careful who you book with.

Great customer service

Booked airport lounge through priority booker. Flight time changed so emailed priority booker who dealt with the change easily and efficiently, also I was kept updated by their customer services ( John ), excellent service, will use again.

Having had my return flight home…

Having had my return flight home changed by the airline I needed to extend my parking by 24 hours. Could not do this online but emailed and had a quick reply and made it easy to change.

Bad Experience. Priority ooker confirmed then…

Priority booker confirmed then cancelled my car park booking, refunding part of the payment. I discovered after checking my bank statement and calling Bournemouth airport car parking who informed me ithe booking had been cancelled. Advise go direct book with airport, feels like a third party scam.
