Study Guide Not Usable for NEC‑Referenced Exam

I purchased the PSI study guide expecting material that matched the NEC‑referenced Tennessee exam. Instead, the guide had no code references, no article numbers, and no way to study for an open‑book code exam. I realized within minutes it was unusable and immediately contacted PSI to cancel and request a refund. They refused, even though the product did not match the exam requirements they themselves publish. This material was not as advertised and provided no value for preparing for a code‑book exam.

I accidentally purchased the wrong exam and I was refused an exchange or refund. I then purchased the correct exam but submitted without realizing I couldn’t take the exam again. It’s not user friendly

Customer Service is a dead end.

I was dropped twice from the national portion of my real estate broker test even though my internet connection was fine. I was almost finished and spent time and energy to complete.
I have dealt with technical support with three "tickets" and numerous calls to customer service however they say I cannot complete my test until their "investigation" is done. My client is irate and I am stuck. Last ticket # is POA-73261.

THE WORST - avoid at all costs

WORST. COMPANY. EVER. First, I'm supposed to take a 4 hour exam, I take the day off and prepare for the exam for weeks. At my paid time, I login and start the remote checks (camera and microphone working perfectly, have the software I need downloaded and they're searching my workspace). First check on of my camera says the resolution of the camera is not good enough. I have to download the special browser 3 more times until it magically works. Then I have to show my workspace and my dog is there so I have to move to a new space (thank you by the way for keeping the world safe from cheating dogs). This might be helpful information to have IN ADVANCE OF THE TEST. Alas, no problem I move to a new location where she cannot get in. I now have expired my entire time and CAN NOT TAKE THE TEST TODAY. Of course this isn't realized until 30 MINUTES LATER WHEN I can get someone online. I cannot believe this is how I have to take my test. Buy DON'T WORRY, someone will reach out to me in 2-5 days to reschedule so maybe I can do this all over again. YOU ARE TRULY THE WORST PSI. I wish I never had to deal with you again.

good price, bad execution

The study guide for the master electrician study pack has been mostly helpful, especially for the price. But with that comes some downsides. More that a few NEC questions asked in the study pack are not covered by the NEC or the answers that are given are in contradiction to what the NEC states. On top of that issue, the AI Model they use is all but useless and they do not give references in there explanatory responses to the questions. This would be extremely helpful when reviewing a question that you answered incorrectly. It just worries me that I'm having this type of experience with the same company that actually administers the exam in my state.

I was dissappointed in quality control

I was dissappointed in the quality of the practice exams/questions. I would have thought since you are providing the ACTUAL exams, you would have better quality control on your practice material that you market. I found multiple wrong answers and other mistakes. Your AI support was exterely poor. It could rarely cite SPECIFIC locations in the NEC. Improvement is needed across the board, especially on your calculation questions (probably the most difficult portion of the actual journeyman exam). I barely passed the exam cacluations with just a 70%, but your calculations were of very little help. I found so many better options elsewhere. I know this is overly critical, but you are the ones administering the ACTUAL exams. You should be providing a much better product.

Ordered the cosmo test kit by mistake…

Ordered the cosmo test kit by mistake then ordered the esthetician test kit I needed. Tried to get a refund and was told I could not. I have two daughters in the program and I have ordered this study kit multiple times for each of my daughters. This policy is unacceptable and I should have been refunded my money, not pleased with the process.

Problem Login into my exam

Apparently, I made a mistake and scheduled the exam for 12 a.m. (midnight). Customer service was lackluster to say…

Customer service was lackluster to say the very least. Multiple failed attempts to try to get to the root of an issue. Dismissive and derogatory comments made in follow up emails. Long wait times to speak to someone and then being transferred to multiple different people with no solution or direction or guidance. The test taking portion was OK however technical glitches made it very hard and stressful during an already stressful point. The tech support team was very helpful, but it still was very unnerving that the program itself rebooted it, and then it was concerning to think that it would happen during the test. I would also like to point out that the proctor was very blunt and did not give off a feeling of being supportive. They were appropriate, and I understand that they have to do a job as outlined by their guidance, but I feel that some personalization would make the experience a little bit more comforting to test takers.
