Terrible Customer support and Online experience
The customer service and online test platform is a Joke. I spent over an hour trying to get my test up and running. My PC is new and there are no issues with it. The remote access cuts off when you start the secure browser so there's literally nothing they do except waste time. TAKE IT IN PERSON TO AVOID THE HEADACH. Its annoying but at least you wont lose the money and time. I am in the process of disputing the charge. Its hard to believe that states use this platform to manage there exam.

The worst website and customer service. Tried to sign up for the EA exam. Only one location in the entire NYC and NYS area to take a proctored exam.
Contacted customer service with questions regarding the exam location. Initially, the customer service could not even find the exam in their directory but when he finally did find it, he stated thay have no access to information on it until July. On the PSI website you are able to sign up for the exam onlline and proctored but the company themselves have no access to the exam info??!! Seems very ridiculous. The previous company IRS used to proctor the exam was excellent, they should not have changed to PSI!!

Typical exam vendor that makes a profit off of you failing the exam
My experience is through the eyes of my spouse who was taking the broker affiliate "real estate" exam. We are both educated adults, each with several degrees in our field, and my wife recently had the desire to change careers. She is not going to be a realtor but for her position, had to take and pass the real estate exam. When I first Googled it for our state, the first time pass rate was 50%. That in and of itself is a major issue. This wasn't the Bar exam or the NCLEX, this was a test to be a realtor (no offense). I watch my wife painstakingly go through the first 60 hours of the curriculum, take copious notes, take and redo practice exams until she got a 100 on them, I quizzed her over the material and keep in mind, the test is not rote memorization, it's all application (to which a real life realtor wouldn't use 98% of this) from calulating amortization tables without a calculator to knowing under what circumstance is a promissary note released, and by who, and what information appears on a prommisary note, and does it potentially violate the Truth in Lending Act, and blah blah blah. I don't shy away from hard exams but a first time pass rate of 50% on a test for something that only requires 90 hours of prep is fishy. The cut score to pass is also 70, and each question has answers that are intended to trick you and are awarded different point values ranging from 1-4. Again fishy and geared more towards profit for the vendor and not accurately measuring what is needed to become a real estate agent. Needless to say my wife failed the first time around but not totally. She passed the state portion but failed the national portion with a 65. The problem really started when she went back to take the second exam (she only had to take the national portion), and again she failed, and again with a 65...this time though there were major testing irregularities as the WiFi kept shutting down, stopping the test, restarting, stopping, all while the clock was ticking. This was acknlowdged by the proctor and they told the test takers to go ahead and call customer service immediately to submit a test ticket and have the test invalidated so that they could take it again at no cost and it would not count against their failure attempts (a second failure attempt forces you to wait a full 30 days to retake the test, it also means that a third failed attempt results in your entire test being reset and you have to again pass state and national). My wife submits the ticket and they tell her it is a high priority ticket and it has been escalated to their "back door" team (what a name) and she would get a response in 2 to 5 days. She waits a full 7 busniess days after hearing nothing and calls on speaker phone. Clearly the call is fielded somewhere in the land of thick accents and poor english as the representative struggles to understand my wife. He keeps repeating the same line which is that he has "personally" escalated the already escalated ticket and we need to wait another 2-5 business days. She asks to speak to a manager and he put her on hold and every time he returned (it was like scene from Groundhog Day) he would repeat the same line that it has been escalated and we needed to call back in 2-5 business days. This happened three times, three times my wife asked to speak to a manager and all three times he came back and repeated the same line. So now it has already been two weeks of waiting for an "escalated" ticket and she still has not heard back. The whole process from being patted down and turning in phones and purses to take the exam to the poor testing environment and AWFUL customer service, this just feels like a check box money grab with poor test content, worse delivery, and abysmal customer service. Of course my wife is bummed that she failed, and she will continure to study her tail off but PSI Exams is just a bad service plain and simple.

PSI Customer support is beyond terrible. Just to register to take a test I had to call over 5 times and each time was told to continue to wait 2-5 more days. If you have the change, use another company like Pearson, Prometric or ExamSoft. PSI customer support does not care about its clients or their time in the slightest.

PSI Study Guide is NOT State Specific
I would not recommend the PSI Study Guides or Practice Tests to anyone taking an insurance exam. They mislead you by saying they know the exam because they created the exam. Then why don't you have the option to purchase state specific material? There's nothing state specific in any of their study material or practice tests, yet that is what's on the exam. Lastly, there were additional topics never mentioned in any of their material-one in particular that had multiple questions that I knew from experience. It may not be required in PA since 2025, but it's worth it to go through a course online rather than waste money on PSI material.

I would give 0 if it was an option
I would give 0 if it was an option. They require login no earlier than 30 min for remote testing. Then and only then, there is a software check. You now have only until 30 min after exam scheduled start time to find and remove applications. 45 min on Chat Support twice with no resolution, missed 30 min window and exam was cancelled. 2 hrs total with chat support and one person finally knew what they were doing and removed applications. Waste of time that caused me to miss the exam. Customer service just pushed back to vendor.

I have passed this exam twice now but…
I have passed this exam twice now but your services say I haven't. I know I was solid on 70 - 80 out of 90 of those questions but you say I missed many more than that. Bullocks. You don't show what questions a person has missed to them and this feels like a scam. I was told I was one question short of passing the national exam the first time I took it and three questions short of passing it the second time. There's no way I missed that many. The same exact thing happened to my brother in laws daughter just missing by one then three questions on two consecutive national psi exams. What are the chances? I have also heard online about people having to take this test 50 times to pass it or taking up to possibly 5 years to pass it, that's insane and ridiculous. I have been scoring in the mid - upper 90's on the CE Shop's national practice exams for weeks now. I know I passed it the first two times I took it. I have now paid to test for a third time and there will not a forth. This feels like blatant theivery as you have no proof to share with the test taker of which ones they missed, we are at your whim and have to take your word for it. Nonsense.

The male staff who checked my ID…
The male staff who checked my ID documents and took my photograph today was extremely rude. His attitude was quite demeaning when requested to repeat his statement when I did not understand. I am well qualified professional. I am able to understand English well. I just had to double check once or twice. But even at the start his attitude was rude and threatening not allowing me to ask any further questions. I really feel sorry for the other candidates if they were to face such an attitude just for requesting to repeat. I can sense racial discrimination in the way he treated me today. Yes, we are foreigners. But we are not worthless to be treated this way. Please consider this feedback and provide appropriate training for the staff to exhibit professional behaviour without exhibiting racial discrimination. The female staff who assisted me today with security check and logging into the test was very kind and helpful. But she refused to tell her name and the name of the other male staff because the policies doesn't allow this. So I am not able to tell the name male staff who treated me with great disrespect today.
