I was supported by Elise

I was supported by Elise, she was a great support and help and found me a school to work at within the first week of contacting her, she was able to get me in as quickly as possible and ensured I was happy with everything, she always communicated with me well and any questions I had she was always able to communicate with me and reassured me. Overall I recommend contacting Elise in regards of a job as she was such a great help and a lovely individual.

Oh my god where to start

Oh my god where to start! I’ve had the most amazing experience with Parker smith inclusion. Both harry and Nicola are absolutely amazing and so helpful and understanding. I had a little issue with my proof of address document as I have recently moved house and I had to wait for a letter to be sent. And they was both so understanding about the matter and recognised it would take time to come. Also such a quick and easy process to get into a very fulfilling and passionate career. I would recommend Parker smith inclusion to absolutely anyone looking for their dream career roll! I am beyond happy with my experience

Fantastic Support and a Smooth Start with Parker Smith Inclusion

Elise and Luke were incredibly helpful in guiding me through the registration process. Everything was smooth and completed quickly after I signed up. I was matched with a role that suits me really well, and it’s been a pleasure to join Parker Smith Inclusion , I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.

Ridha from the compliance team was also very supportive, making sure everything was in place so I could start work without any issues. Overall, I’ve had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend joining if you’re looking for an agency that genuinely supports

Great Agency

Faye and Elise from the agency have been extremely helpful and supportive, from the onboarding process to the placement working with a school they've been collaborative and very friendly. The process did not take long and they were able to get me a full time teaching assistant placement with little experience working with schools. As it's my first time working with an agency I'd definitely recommend this agency to others.

Excessive Documentation Requests and Patronizing Questions

I recently attempted to register with Parker Smith Inclusion for a SENCO role, and the experience was frustrating. Despite having over 25 years of experience as a qualified teacher, I was asked patronising questions, such as whether I was qualified. I confirmed that I held an up-to-date Enhanced DBS, yet I was repeatedly asked if I had any convictions or grievances, which felt redundant. I was also queried about my eligibility to work in the UK, despite my long work history here. The most frustrating part was being told I needed additional documents to prove my name change after a divorce, even though my official government-issued DBS reflected my current name. Overall, the process felt overly bureaucratic and dismissive of my experience. Parker Smith Inclusion could improve by better training their staff to tailor questions to candidates’ backgrounds, streamlining the registration process by reducing unnecessary queries, and accepting official documents without excessive additional requirements. With these improvements, they could offer a much more respectful and efficient experience for experienced professionals like myself.

Reply from Parker Smith Inclusion

Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback, Isabel. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the registration process felt frustrating and dismissive of your experience, that is certainly not the impression we aim to give.

We would like to clarify that the questions you reference are not a reflection of doubt in a candidate’s credibility or career history. As a specialist SEND recruitment agency, we are required to carry out the same safeguarding, right-to-work, DBS, and identity checks for every applicant, regardless of role, seniority, or length of experience. These checks are mandated by safeguarding legislation and by the standards required by schools, local authorities, and regulatory bodies we work with.

This includes confirming qualification status, eligibility to work in the UK, declarations relating to convictions or grievances, and ensuring that all identity documentation aligns correctly, including name changes. While an Enhanced DBS is an essential document, it does not replace the requirement for us to verify identity and name history separately, which is a compliance requirement rather than an administrative preference.

That said, we do take on board your feedback around how this process felt, and we recognise the importance of explaining why these questions are asked, particularly when working with experienced professionals. We are continually reviewing our processes and training to ensure that compliance is handled with clarity, respect, and empathy, and your comments will feed into that work.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. We appreciate your professionalism in doing so and wish you every success in your career.

Parker Smith Inclusion is so efficient and they are genuinely so lovely to work with

Parker Smith is so efficient with finding their staff placements. I had been struggling to find a new job and get out of the job I had been at a dead end in for over a year. Less than 2 months with Parker Smith and I had been signed on, had an Enhanced DBS applied for, had 2 trials at 2 schools and received an offer for a 1:1 SEND LSA position. Elisha Read and Harry Owen were handling my case and they are both very helpful and lovely people to work with. Highly recommend Parker Smith to anybody trying to get into a role in education especially within the SEND system

AVOID the worst agency in UK

After the long registration process, they gave me the worst job possible. I accepted because I needed to work.
They bullied me and complained about me to the agency, and they never called me back. I've sent them messages, applied for countless jobs, and they ignore me. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

WOW.

Was connected with a absolutely genuine lady called Jamie, who helped me secure a role and was very supportive throughout the whole process. She took the time out to ensure that even when my role was secured that I am all good and gave helpful tips. So so grateful.

Highly recommend Jamie at PSI

I turned to Parker Smith Inclusion to help me find my first role in SEND after coming from a mainstream teaching background. Jamie, my consultant, was kind, informative, honest, and attentive in supporting me on this new path. She asked perceptive questions to understand more about me and truly listened to what I had to say, helping to secure a role for me that aligns well with my values and aspirations. She kept in close contact with me throughout the process which I found incredibly reassuring, and her knowledge of SEND not only meant I was in very good hands, but also provided me with valuable insights into the sector. I can't recommend Jamie and PSI enough for anyone looking for their next role in SEND!

Why Parker Smith Inclusion stands out

After speaking to other agencies who advertised that they had roles and then could only offer roles hours away, Parker Smith Inclusion discussed nearby roles with me very quickly and ensured that the process of getting placed was as quick and as smooth as possible. Elisha helped from the moment I applied for roles, through my inductions and after I was placed at a school. This help through every step of the way has made it such a great experience and one in which I have felt supported every step of the way.

Amazing agency

I have been with Parker Smith Inclusion for almost 6 months now and and have had a brilliant experience!
My agent Elisha has been so supportive and helpful from the beginning, I truly cannot praise her enough, it’s honestly like working for one of your friends, nothing is too much trouble.

Parker Smith Inclusion has been amazing at matching me with a suitable placement and truly care about having the right people in the right places, they are not happy unless everyone is and go above and beyond to make this happen.
Elisha in my case really listened to what I was looking for and found me a role that fits perfectly, the whole process was stress-free and she was always on hand to help, I could not be happier!

I could not be any happier in my experience with Parker Smith Inclusion and would recommend them to anyone, fantastic agency!

Kind and Efficient Service, Yet Partnerships Undermine Their Values

The team at this recruitment company are engaging, kind, and efficient — they communicate well and genuinely seek to make the process smooth and professional, often going the extra mile. However, there is a significant mismatch between their stated ethical values and the types of clients they represent.

One of the organisations they recruit heavily for — known for its revolving door of staff — seems to lack basic respect for employees and operates in ways that are highly disorganised and transactional.A truly toxic organisation. PS is totally aware of this but continues to work with them, with money seemingly trumping ethics. This raises questions about how deeply ethics truly guide their business decisions.

If you choose to work with them, ask about the culture of the organisations that seek to place you directly. Then consider what is not said. Read between the lines. Here is where the struggle between ethical or unethical can be located for PS.

With their talent and strong communication skills, they have the potential to be genuine leaders in ethical recruitment — but at present, their client choices undermine that message.

AVOID THEM! Misleading and camouflaged ads!

AVOID THEM! This is a Carer employment agency for schools. They are recruiting Carers but in their ads they write: Teaching assistant positions.
Misleading and camouflaged ads, also known as disguised ads ! They do not deserve a star not even half a star on TRUST PILOT !

Thank you for your feedback Valenko. I can’t see you on our system and have reached out to you to provide further information as I’d be happy to discuss. We are a SEND specialist recruitment consultancy supporting many settings. This includes schools for children with very severe and multiple needs. Many of our schools still use the formal job title Teaching Assistant and therefore those roles are advertised as such. You will see many other roles and jobs advertised on our website too. Although care is heavily part of the role, these are school based roles where education and learning is the objective, therefore they are not considered carer roles by title. When we speak with applicants, we use this initial call to assess whether the roles we have are suitable and vice versa. If the consultant and applicant feel there is a match, we move the process to a full interview to further assess suitable settings. You are correct that our roles are not general class assistants and perhaps that is where the confusion lies. Please take a look at our website which highlights we are SEND specialists. Good luck in your job search! Emilie
