Not an easy process.

Don't know what I did wrong but I failed to activate my Reward Card.Ran out of steam and gave up.Don't understand why I need to activate it. My late wife handled all this sort of thing. Out of my depth.Will try again when I I feel able.

My take on this card

The process to get the card was easy enough. My gripe is that it's a virtual card which means it's only usable online or by phone. I ended up adding it my Amazon account as my default payment. Hope this doesn't appear ungrateful for the card, it was much appreciated.

Haven’t used it yet but it seemed to be too complicated for a 77yearold. However I’m grateful for it as I feel by are guilty of serious over charging or miss selling over last 2 years

Update on conduct

UPDATE:

I’ve now spent 2 days trying so sort this money out and have spoken to various people quoting terms and conditions instead of the law. Instead of using legal, payment services regulations and regulation 76, I’m being told their t&c’s don’t cover that. So apparently you can opt out of the lawful regulations. I’ve already made an intention for a complaint to the FOS, and have the call recordings telling me nothing can be done and that managers had left early at 4 yesterday so couldn’t do anything. Waiting for a call back now whilst Peter goes and “gets some guidance” from someone on this. You guys are a financial company, how do managers not know regulations??

I’m writing this review specifically for Faye in the CS team. She’s been empathetic to my fraudulent transactions and although she can’t deal Ruth them directly, I seem to get a reply from the card team very shortly after speaking with her. She’s been very calm, polite and explained things to me (even if I didn’t agree with the process). Good member of staff there!
