Pure Card is a virtual/digital card loaded with funds to spend and can be used online like any other Mastercard. Where as there are some exceptions, it can generally be used in most places that accept Mastercard.

Simply the best

Had a few problems with setting up the card.
Part old age and an even older PC!!!!
Eventually was assisted by Iulia who it transpired came from Rumania.
What a wonderful experience, patience of a saint, very good listener, and her attention to detail to ensure that I was following her was very much appreciated. Lovely sense of humour without being OTT. Very professional and the delivery of a Customer Service Excellence experience with a WoW factor from start to finish.

I don’t know how or where I can use it

I don’t know how or where I can use it. It won’t save to my wallet so have to go in through the email I was sent. It is a real faff. No instructions given on how to use it. Took ages and loads of messing about to activate it.

Mine took forever to get to me and i didnt even get myself anything with it because i donated the card to a certain invidual thats struggling right now they needed it more than me but other than that all went accordingly.

Spending is difficult

Redeeming / accessing the card is easy, but spending it is almost impossible!
It doesn't work with a paypal account, apple pay and most other payment accounts. since it's digital, I cannot use it to buy anything when out and about as shops doesn't accept payment using a card number. For someone that doesn't make many large online purchases, for all intents and purposes it's essentially dead money.

Taking a look at your account we can see we initially emailed you at the beginning of March, however the card wasn't activated. We then sent out a reminder prompt on the first of May, at which point the card was then activated.

Unfortunately, we cannot see any reason for a delay or that our system malfunctioned, however we are pleased that you have managed to use the funds on the card.

Would be more useful to either credit…

Would be more useful to either credit the account or give a refund… this is not easy to setup for an 88 year old and to then make full use of it.

Useful but a couple of disadvantages.

Used the gift card online.
Disappointed that it couldn't be topped up, nor added to the Google wallet.

This card does work in the same way as a bank card and a lot of retailers will not allow you to use part payment for online transactions. There is an option to use gift cards with this card, just make sure that the remaining balance of the transaction matches the balance of the card, so you can use the whole amount.

If I don’t receive my pure card…

If I don’t receive my pure card tomorrow I’ll be moving back to sky. I upgraded my broadband so I should get a pure card tomorrow as promised, Cause the 14 day mark is today. I never received one when I signed up a year ago so I’ll see what happens tomorrow. I spend a lot on BT and if it’s not received by tomorrow. I’m definitely joining Sky. You don’t get this hassle with them.
