My external audit was carried out by David Beddoes and it was a fantastic experience. David was very knowledgeable and patient answering my questions and sending over supporting Citation templates. David provided excellent constructive feedback with a desire to see us improve to be the best we can be and I have taken this onboard and implemented into our organisation.
Happy to recommend Citation as we have had nothing but a good experience from David and all the team. There is an extensive library of useful templates and documents that can support your organisation.

Smooth and enjoyable (not the thing you might expect to say about an audit!) experience with Annya Poole who was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly throughout.

Sam Barnes was our ISO consultant. She made us feel at ease straight away and explained the process clearly so we knew what to expect. It was a long day, but Sam's friendly, professional and knowledgeable approach made the experience of making our business ISO compliant really valuable. Working through the Management System together was helpful to familiarise ourselves with the various processes and documents - rather than just being left to it. Looking forward to becoming ISO accredited in the near future with the help of the ISO consultants at ISO Citation.

Needed the accreditation for an unknown length of time. Was told by the sales person we could cancel at any time, so signed up.

Turns out the contract was for 10 years! and there are penalty fee's for cancelling that were not disclosed but we have now been told are in the terms and conditions. They were not disclosed, highlighted, shown in the fee's section on the signature section of the contract - hidden charges and mis-selling!!!

Be careful as they want half of any remaining contract fees and invoices for services not provided!

We have reported to the CMA and are currently taking legal and consumer advice.

ISO 27001:2022 Reaccreditation Review

Another great review with Wynn Walker, one of the most experienced of the Citation team. Her advice and friendly manner is always welcome and makes what can be a nerve wracking day go smoothly with a positive outcome.

Our audit was conducted by Simon Langston and was carried out in a respectful and professional manner. Simon was helpful whilst never undermining the value of the standards expected to achieve 9001 compliance. Although we needed areas of improvement, this was relayed clearly and thoroughly to allow us to improve in future.

Karen Knaggs carried out the audit creating a relaxed environment which made the 2 day audit more of a pleasure than a chore. So a big shout out for her.

Robert was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He guided me clearly through the ISO requirements and helped SLS Groundworks and Civils Ltd understand what was needed to meet the relevant ISO criteria and standards for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Robert took the time to explain the key stages of the process, including the use of the Atlas ISO Certification platform, how the consultancy documents are reviewed and released, what is required for the Stage 2 Certification Audit, and how we can complete final changes, comments and feedback through Atlas. This matched the process set out in the consultancy sign-off form, including the gap analysis, agreement of the management system scope, and preparation for the Stage 2 Audit.

He also helped explain the documentation we needed to have in place, including key registers, audit documents, policies, objectives, interested parties, legal requirements, nonconformance records, management review documents, environmental assessments and internal audit planning. This has given SLS Groundworks and Civils a much clearer understanding of how to manage our ISO system properly going forward, rather than just treating it as a paperwork exercise.

Robert explained everything in a practical and easy to understand way, which was particularly useful for a working groundworks and civil engineering business. He clearly understood the type of work we carry out and helped relate the ISO requirements back to our actual operations, including groundworks, civil engineering, drainage, reinforced concrete, external works, landscaping and setting-out so it was easy to understand.

Overall, I found the consultancy extremely valuable. Robert made what felt like a complicated process feel clear, structured and achievable. I now feel much more confident that SLS Groundworks and Civils Ltd is in a strong position moving towards certification.

I would be very happy to recommend Robert and Citation ISO based on the service provided.

Caitlin Wevill conducted the ISO audit with exceptional professionalism and clarity throughout the process. She was extremely detailed in her approach and clearly communicated what was required and expected at each stage, which made the audit process smooth and well organised.

We are extremely pleased that our Stage 1 audit was completed successfully with no major issues identified, and we are now confidently progressing toward our Stage 2 audit for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification. This is a significant milestone for Agnews Wind Services Ltd and reflects the quality of support provided by Kathryn and the wider Citation team.

When facing an external audit, there are always a few nerves but our external auditor, Robert Crosby, immediately put me at ease with his friendly and professional manner. Robert was thorough, explaining the process and guiding me through the evidence he required, clearly explaining what was needed and why.

I can't recommend working with Citation highly enough and with Robert specifically for ISO 27001 external audits.

Karen Knaggs recently undertook my ISO 27001 annual audit and then the upgrade to the newest version. I found Karen to be extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in drilling into some of the sections to really help with understanding and how to approach section where I have potentially overengineered an internal process.
