We understand the importance of being able to speak to a real-life human at the other end of the phone.
Bizarrely, this seems to be getting rarer nowadays - but fear not - we have no intention of losing our human side.
We can see that Jonathan has helped you recently to release next year's availability and to correctly price Grand Prix dates. Next year's stall is set - watch this space!
We just need to wait for the bookings to trickle through - which they will. We can see you have made great use of our Special Offers software. There is no better way to encourage direct business than a Special Offer - what a great way to incentivise direct guest bookings. At some point, we would like to spend some time with you to help you optimise Q-Book to generate as much direct, commission-free revenue as possible. Thanks for your review - you are a top man and Q-Booker :) In the few weeks since taking over The Watermead Guest House, you have made excellent use of Q-Book's features and automated many processes previously dealt with manually by your predecessors. The Autopayments feature is a game-changer; we hope it's making life easy for you. Plus, it's always good to have any payment niggles sorted beforehand. Especially for a seamless self-catering check-in. Just to let you know, we are looking into the smart locks Channel Manager integration as per your feedback. We have submitted our information and some questions and will look into it. As more properties are heading down the self-catering route, we can see the importance of this.
For now, you can use the Automatic Email Manager. You can build, personalise, schedule and update door code emails. It works really well. If you need a hand building the emails please give us a shout!

I was dreading transferring so many bookings .. I felt sure it would go horribly wrong

I had to transfer a lot of bookings from an existing website booking system and booking.com to QBook. I was dreading it as I was so worried about duplicate bookings or bookings being missed off completely.

The training that I was given, support, plus the brilliant online tutorials was amazing. Since going live, the continued support has been second to none.

Thank you so much for your review. We're absolutely delighted to read your positive feedback. We totally understand the concept of transferring from one system to another is majorly daunting. However, we have done our very best to simplify the process and to ensure it's a walk in the park. We can import bookings, help build room types and rates and basically, take the stress away - phew! There's nout worse than feeling trapped with a booking system due to the fear of change. We see it all too often. It's not good!
To know you can easily make the move and free yourself out of a sticky situation is a game-changer. That's exactly the reason why we don't do contracts. In case it's not for you for whatever reason, or if your circumstances change, if you need to jump ship - that's no problemo! Thank you very much for your kind words about our support service - that really does mean the world to us :)
We put a lot of effort into making sure our customers feel supported from start to finish and everything in between. We understand that you no longer need Q-Book. However, we certainly hope to work with you on your next project should you need our services in the future. Thanks again for your lovely review. Emails, although simply everyday things - can cause havoc when things go wrong - at the end of the day, it's your business communication which is super important! Anyway, we're glad we got you sorted!

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on how well you are doing with direct bookings. Nowadays, it's much harder to generate direct website revenue.
If you think about how easily browsers sleepwalk onto OTA platforms and sometimes don't give individual business websites a second thought.
For you, this is certainly not the case. Wahoo!
Each year, you have many website visitors who book directly with you. It's a win-win! You don't have to give a big chunk of commission away and your guests are happy because they probably got a better deal - what's not to love? Each year we can see your direct bookings are growing. Whatever you are doing, you must be doing something right. Hopefully, Q-Book plays a small part in your success (fingers crossed). Great customer service

I have used Queensborough Group for over 4 years and would not use any other channel manager, their customer service is top quality, my calls are always answered promptly. They have always been so helpful and are always looking at ways of getting the best from our Guest House.

The best customer service in the Uk

We have been with Q book now for just over a year. Not everything goes to plan immediately, but when it doesn’t the whole team at Queensborough Group have been fantastic in sorting it out
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Never fail to answer the phone, never fail to assist you with any enquiries, they are the most efficient company I have ever dealt with 10/10 from me

We're just friendly folk who actually answer the phone, like a good chat and know a thing or two about technology ;) We appreciate that you recognise our efforts.
We agree that Q-Book did get off to a bumpy start :/
However (and thankfully), the teething problems were soon rectified.
You joined during some new OTA partnerships that had a couple of niggly, moments but are all good now :) Thanks for bearing with us and for being super patient. We're glad you did!
It's just over a year since you signed up to Q-Book and commissioned us to create a multi-property booking system and business website for you, and what a lovely year it has been.
We can see that you have a good balance of direct revenue and bookings from OTA's.
Now that everything has stabilised and is working well for you, we would like to spend some time with you to maximise the most of your website and to help you increase direct bookings. More money for your back pocket..where it should be ;)

Whilst we have no control over how others manage their customer service, we're super pleased to be compared to a global organisation and come out top trumps!
We work extremely hard to ensure our Q-Bookers are well looked after, listened to and MOST importantly, dealt with by a human quickly should an issue arise (hopefully not too often.) We have recently advanced Q-Book so that it's more self-catering. We have re-designed the self-catering booking widgets to encourage more direct revenue and are connecting to new OTA's imminently who are geared up to sell self-catering properties. You have been such a help communicating on behalf of the lovely Moseley Village Apartments and helping to get things up and running. After a recent overhaul with Jonathan, we see the apartments have ultimate visibility to attract as many browsers as possible.
For you, this means that your website, Booking.com and Airbnb all receive rates, availability and varying levels of occupancy and apartment configurations - making sure you appeal to all.
We're so glad we managed to get it to where it needs to be - hopefully, this means more bookings for guys :) Now that we have sorted the Channel Manager side of things, we'd like to spend some time with you to focus on direct, commission-free revenue - website bookings! There are lots of tools within Q-Book that you can optimise to tempt browsers to book directly and not wander off to OTA giants.
These include promo codes, special offers, discounts, gift vouchers, additional items etc.
Each is designed to incentivise direct bookers. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
We'll follow up with more information and Q-Book tools to help drive revenue to your website. Thank you once more for the review. We look forward to seeing your apartments go from strength to strength - your success matters to us.

Splendid work by all!

I have been a client of the Queensborough Group for 7+ years now. I rarely need to call but whenever I do, they are unfailingly helpful, polite, enthusiastic and have an ability to make one feel like their favourite client. I dare say they do have one of those but that is certainly not me! I strongly recommend to any business in need of an affordable but expertly run Channel Manager.

Always there when you need them.

We've been with Q-Book for 4 years now. They have provided us with flawless channel management and helped us produce a great website, but more than this, they have always been there for us with a fast, friendly and efficient problem solving service that has given us confidence and reassurance when dealing with issues caused by the big OTAs. We can't recommend them highly enough!

The next part of the puzzle is to revamp the current website to encourage as much organic revenue as possible so that you get the perfect balance between direct and OTA bookings. Your account manager, Amy, is putting together some pub website examples so that you can see how we can tailor our designs to suit your offering. During the revamp, we can look to include new content including menus, pictures, text, Social Media platforms and whatever you like to keep it fresh and current.

The best service - look no further!

Can't fault them on anything and team are quick to resolve any issues. Platform is very simple to use and great for training new staff. Great support team, always pick-up calls, and if the correct team can’t help, then they always follow up with a call back or email.
I would highly recommend and have been using the system since 2011 !

The channel Manager itself is simple to use, and the software team are always developing the system to make it easier and more versatile.

We can see you are making excellent use of the automatic payments - managing auto deposits, balances and extras seamlessly - so happy it's working well for you. It's much easier to use this than faffing about with BACS and chasing payments. It's always good to know what's what, reduce admin time and focus on what you do best - taking good care of your guests :) Speaking of automation, have you considered our automatic emails? These work seamlessly when communicating with guests and auto-generate at a time that suits you keeping all your upcoming guests informed. For instance, if you want to schedule emails such as directions, access codes, local attractions and specific instructions for specific units, this can be pre-set within Q-Book. We'll have your Account Manager send you some info about it. Of course, there is no charge to use it. It's included in the commission-free package that you have already. Pretty sure you'll love it :)
Your comments about self-catering have most certainly been taken on board. (thanks for all your feedback). We're just about to launch new booking widgets specifically for our self-catering properties that will make the bookings process much more straightforward. We've enhanced the customer-facing side so that restrictions are more explanatory and different lengths of stays - 2, 3,4 nights etc. are advertised as soon a guest clicks their dates.
It's designed with the sole intention of boosting your direct bookings - happy days! Anyway, all will be revealed soon - we'll look forward to showing you around. Many thanks again for your review. Happy Q-Booking :)

Queensborough Group Booking system top notch

Since joining the Queensborough Group for our Campsite booking system I can say that it has reduced the time spent checking arrivals information and collating bookings from different booking sites. Now everything arrives into the one calendar and gives me the ability to adjust pitch placement when necessary.

Contact with the guys at QB has always been easy by phone or email with responses and actions quickly acted on in a friendly, professional and knowledgable manner.

I have been with Queensborough Group for over 10 glorious years

I have been with Queensborough Group (Q-Book), for just over 10 years. Throughout this time Ive seen the company grow and grow, with constant improvement to the Booking System and each one making the system unbelievably user friendly. We also use Queensborough, for our Website, which is so simple to manage in the background.
To top this all off, their customer service is nothing short of BRILLIANT and second to none.
It has been an absolute pleasure and would HIGHLY recommend Queensborough Group (Q-Book), to ALL that are wishing a booking system and/or Website that is managed so professionally and at an unbeatable price too.

Jonathan in the customer service team responded very quickly to my request for help. Kindly talked me through the adjustments we needed to make to our pricing structure, fixed any errors and stayed with me until the job was complete.
