It marks nearly 18 months since you joined the Q-Book gang! All we can say is how utterly impressed we are with your direct booking stats - just wow!!!! In an industry submissive to OTA big boys - your results are amazing! A 90% direct booking rate - you go, girl!!! We can't say we're surprised. Your lovely, vintage-style pods and bell tents are sure to get browsers' attention. However, we hope that Q-Book and our software are helping to promote your business and ease/encourage the direct booking process. Thanks for your comments about our pricing structure. We think just £9.99+VAT PCM and 20pence a booking is fair. Before we remodelled Q-Book to suit our happy campers, we spent ages researching who was charging what. We were surprised that some platforms charge campsites the same (if not more) than if you were 200 room hotel - seems a bit nuts, but each to their own :/ Anyway, that's not our beef! In an industry dominated by OTA giants and in a busy area of Llandudno, it's fair to say you have done an excellent job. We constantly adapt Q-Book so that you can remain competitive and take advantage of new features that will help encourage commission-free revenue - we got you!

You can rely on the fact that we're constantly developing Q-Book to keep you ahead of the competition and help protect yourself from the elements of stingy/ouchy unnecessary commission fees. You are a glowing example of how to incentivise direct bookers and drive commission-free revenue directly to your website. Well done - no easy task in this day and age. We note that you are using Gift Voucher software separate from Q-Book. Not sure if you are aware, but we include this free of charge in your Q-Book package. Our team are always tinkering away in the background to ensure that Q-Book fiercely adapts to the demands of the industry.
Even though we're feature-rich, we haven't forgotten the art of human customer service and practise a strict no-chatbot/robot policy.

The integrations enable all bookings, from whichever source, to populate the Q-Book calendar, seamlessly freeing up time to maintain those gorgeous properties and look after your lovely guests :) As all our connections are free of charge, why not take advantage of Google, VRBO, Cottages.com, Expedia and many more? Of course, we'll help you to get them linked up - creating a Q-Book hub buzzing with bookings!
While you are fairly new to us, we want to let you know that we'll keep you updated with our technological advances. Keep your eyes peeled in our 'New Features' section of Q-Book, where our latest updates will drop. We have lots planned and new stuff coming your way - a sure way to manage your properties, bookings and availability easily - like a pro! We are currently redesigning our self-catering booking process for a customer-facing viewpoint. While we work so hard to take super good care of our Q-Bookers, in the same breath, we find it effortless to build a great rapport with our friendly clientele - thank you so much for being so easy to get along with :) In the eighteen months you've been on board, it's clear you are making excellent use of the automatic deposit and outstanding balance payments that work seamlessly with your existing merchant. It's refreshing to know that all your guests have made payment before arrival. Or, if there is a problem, it's way in advance with simple payment links to fall back on;
meaning you can act quickly without losing out on potential revenue. Phew! After chatting with Sophie earlier in the week and building a website promo, we hope your customers take advantage. For you, this means extra rewards in the shape of commission-free bookings :) You can create all types of promos. For instance, returning guest promotions, mid-week stays etc. Each is designed to help rival OTA bookings and encourage folk to book direct, direct, direct! In addition, you can sell Gift Vouchers, create Special Offers and do all manner of things within Q-Book to help sell your rooms like a pro! Remember! We hope that Q-Book plays a part in your success :) At the end of the day, we understand that the OTA's generate bookings for Foundry 34 - sign of the times, booking trends/apps etc. But you're certainly getting your piece of the action in terms of website bookings. We are good value - thanks for pointing this out to any potential readers :) We don't believe in a ridiculous price tag. We operate a fair and transparent pricing structure that reflects property size, doesn't cost the earth or compromises the quality of our product - Q-Book. We are so pleased that we have been able to rearrange Q-Book to support you migrating from guest rooms to a whole house offering, which all seems to be going brilliantly :) The Channel Manager links in Airbnb and Booking.com and you have a good flow of direct commission-free bookings - always good to see :) If you fancy more online visibility, we can link your account to Google, VRBO and Cottages.com and many more. It's completely free of charge to do so. If you are keen, please let us know - we'll get the ball rolling for you.
Regarding the out-of-hours support - you are right things do operate a little differently. We provide a ticketing system where you can send a query ready for one of our booking advisors to respond as swiftly as possible. Even though we're not on the phone, the support is still second to none. We aim to get any query resolved ASAP. But, if you believe things are taking too long, we take on board your comments and we're happy to address them at this end. We can see that whilst using Q-Book, you have reaped the rewards of direct bookings and been a glowing example of how to drive direct traffic to your website! Now that you are hanging up your hospitality boots for good, you really will be missed by the Q-Book team :( However, from speaking to you, your next chapter takes you to sunny skies in Moraira, Spain - how beautiful! What a fantastic place to enjoy your retirement after all these years working hard at Lingwood Lodge. It's not easy, is it!? Up at the crack of dawn, making breakfast, changing over rooms, staying up for late arrivals - it's a lot! It's about time you had a lie-in and enjoyed some well-deserved chill time! It is so satisfying to see how brilliantly your Hotel, The Cornmill Lodge, is doing for direct commission-free online bookings. In fact, it makes us giddy!! Whatever you are doing to drive revenue, it's definitely working! Eeek! Obviously, some trade secrets play a big part and hopefully, your Queensborough group Website and Q-Book software contribute too :) Nowadays, we understand that it is no easy task to attract website visitors as it once was. As OTA's continue to dominate the internet and browsers look to apps to book, the struggle for direct rev is real. However, with Q-Book in your armoury, you are living proof that it can work! It seems you are optimising Q-Book's features which, in turn, are proving to deliver some pretty impressive results.
