My appointment was for a hearing examination.
I had some ear wax removed and then a full hearing test.
At all times everything was fully explained to me.
The test results were again explained to me in a way I could understand and I was shown the results in image form.
Nothing was rushed and when it came to a suitable hearing aid, there was no hard sell and all options including NHS were discussed.
I can recommend Mr Burrin at Rawlings in Purley.

My annual review - worried about cataract developing. Very efficient visit and reassurance from the optician (Mehdi). Excellent service.

Simon is an exceptional Optometrist, he always goes above and beyond and is happy to answer any questions or concerns. I am very pleased that I can arrange an appointment with him at either of the 2 practices local to me. Dawn at Purley reception is lovely and always willing to help with a friendly smile. My eyes feel like they are in safe hands and I would highly recommend them.

Mike was very knowledgeable which gave me confidence before he dealt with my ears. The technical nature of his explanations was very reassuring. Ear wax removal was successful via micro suction. He didn't need to use irrigation. Surprisingly he didn't try and sell me anything and said there was nothing for me to apply in terms of aftercare. I also use the company for eye care and again I have received the same excellent service. The reception staff are also of a very high calibre.

This was my first visit to Rawlings at Hedge End. From my first visit to book an appointment to my consultation the staff were very friendly and efficient. The eye examination was very thorough and I was very impressed how things were explained to me. Can’t wait to pick up my new spectacles.

On my latest visit, I had my annual eye test, which was extremely thorough and professional. This was followed by a great consultation when choosing new frames — never an easy decision with so much choice! The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and patient throughout the whole process.

Great local opticians. The staff are really friendly and ready to help. I had an issue with one of my lenses and they were really thorough at sorting it out. They take their time and have a good selection of frames too. Highly recommend them.

I suffered a recent fall which broke my spectacles and gave me a black eye. All round the eye and the eye itself was bloodshot. I saw my optician very quickly, and she checked that I had done no internal damage which was a relief. I needed new glasses and had help in selecting an attractive frame. Ver y pleased with the service I received, as always, having been a Rawlings patient since I was a child, over 60 years ago

I received a friendly welcome from all the staff at my annual appointment.
The booking system is easy to use online or a phone call is greeted by Hollie who is reassuring & helpful confirming appointments and procedures.
Service is offered in a warm & efficient way .
The Optician Katie Vince is outstanding , she calmly explains each stage of the eye test with patience & understanding, she listens carefully & concentrates providing the very best outcome .
Becky assisted me with my glasses and is constantly working to provide the
best service for me . The choice she can provide is wonderful & her guidance is genuine.
Sally provides an excellent service her accurate precision when fitting the glasses is exceptional. Sallys expertise is incredible.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Rawlings Caterham. I purchased glasses costing approximately £600 after specifically explaining that I needed a lightweight frame that would sit securely and comfortably without slipping down my nose or causing discomfort behind my ears.

Unfortunately, the glasses have never been comfortable or suitable for me and, as a result, I have been unable to wear them. I returned to the Caterham branch on several occasions and adjustments were attempted, but the underlying problem was never resolved.

What I find particularly disappointing is that, despite repeatedly raising the problem with the branch and giving them several opportunities to resolve it, I have ultimately been told that too much time has passed for the frame to be replaced.

I appreciate that businesses have policies and time limits, but I do not think it is reasonable for the elapsed time to be the determining factor when the problem was raised repeatedly and the glasses have remained effectively unusable.

I have been a loyal Rawlings customer for some years and have also paid for the associated monthly insurance/payment plan, so I expected considerably better customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has left me very disappointed and I will never use Rawlings in the future.

The care, professionalism, clear communications, and attention to detail, to make sure I received the best results, was moving to me, as an elder, in a world where so much is done for expediency and profit. The process, from the eye test to receiving my perfect new specs was more than just a regular duty to be done. It was very uplifting, rekindling my belief in kindness.

I visited the Croydon branch as I had broken my glasses. Unfortunately Anna was unable to find an exact frame that would accept the current lenses after a considerable time checking stock and online, really pleased that all the staff went the extra mile to try and find a resolution.
Long story short, I had an appointment with David then I purchased my glasses, at all times the staff were exceptional.
