We had tried several local opticians over the years, and came late to Rawlings after some disappointing experiences.
I could not be more complimentary of my consulation. the testing was thorough, each stage explained and Helen was very patient and expathetic in her conduct of the examination: very different to what I received elsewhere. Consequently I have more confidence in the prescription I received this time, and buying new glasses on the back of it.

Eye examination was very thorough and in no way rushed. I also ordered new glasses and the measurements taken to endure a good fit were more thorough than I've experienced before. All of this in a professional and friendly atmosphere.

I was given a same day appointment as I was concerned about some symptoms I was having. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Helen the optician was, as ever, welcoming and reassuring, listened carefully to my concerns and was thorough and professional in her examination.
