As usual Mr. Barker was very thorough and explained everything most lucidly

Magen, optician and other staffs were profession and nice to help me check the vision. I really appreciated their immediately help.

Excellent service, the staff, are efficient, caring, helpful. That is why I stay with Rawlings.

The moment you enter the premises you are met by friendly and professional staff. The person taking the test always explains everything so clearly and shows me the photographs etc and shows what is what. I feel really confident I am treated to the best

I've been a patient at Rawlings Opticians since i moved to Croydon in 1994. All the staff have always been friendly and very knowledgeable and they care about their clients . Throughout my years with them with a few prescription changes on the way,they've helped me choose suitable replacement glasses very successfully. One year i chose a pale green armed rimless pair for just normal lenses,which were put aside once I'd changed too Lindberg transition frame less glasses. then about 2 years ago i had my old green frames update with my new prescription with transition lenses which include a multicoloured shimmer coating on them. lovely! i accidently dropped them and the screw holding the right lenses fell out. .gone. . i thought that would be the end of them due to their age and parts no longer being readily available .. but no . . my glasses went from my Croydon branch to a brilliant technician at their Purley branch who said he would take a look at them for me.
last Wednesday i received a call to say they had them back at Croydon and they were ready for collection. WOW i couldn't believe they had done what i thought was impossible. the nurses i work with ask me why i go to rawlings and not Spec savers etc . . my answer. . Rawlings have looked after me/my eyes for 20+years and have always been there when I've needed help with eye problems ,scratched lenses,missing bits from frames etc and have always dealt with the problems in a friendly professional manner. I would recommend them to anyone in need of eye care. . even my ex in-laws go there!

Ive had a few appointments at the Croydon branch of Rawlings Opticians and have always had a great experience. The team, especially the receptionists are friendly, professional, and really take the time to make sure everything is right. As a plan member, I appreciate the ease and clarity of the plan details and feel well looked after and supported with my eye care.

The only downside for me is the pricing — I do find the frames and products quite expensive, even for a private optician. That said, the quality of service and comprehensive tests is excellent overall and keeps me coming back even though I travel quite a distance to get there. Very satisfied

Been with the Croydon branch of Rawlings for over 30 years and have seen the same optometrist for the majority of this time.
Always easy to get an appointment and I always feel welcomed and well cared for.

I have always found the staff very helpful, polite and indeed very approachable.
No hidden costs, I have full trust in the advices given. Their driving principle I believe is safeguarding their customers best interests.

I visited the Croydon branch on 12th March for my routine scans, eye examination and sight test, and to choose two new pairs of glasses. I've been going to this store for a couple of years, and highly recommend them. My optometrist Francesca was very thorough, friendly and answered all my questions. The various staff who helped me choose and order glasses were all friendly and helpful (I'm sorry I didn't remember your names). I find it a real challenge to find frames that comfortably fit my wide face, so I was there for ages trying on various frames and getting them comprehensively adjusted multiple times until we had two suitable pairs. One will be my first pair of varifocals and I was very grateful for all the explanations about the lenses and tips on getting used to them. Overall a great customer experience, thank you.

Fantastic highly skilled and pleasant staff

The staff always give their time. Never rushing, making sure that the whole experience is of the highest standard.Iam really grateful for that. I took my eyes for granted until at sixty I had two retinal detachments.Rawlings give me peace of mind if I have any concerns.

I have been a Rawlings patient for 57 years and have always found the staff to be empathetic and polite, rigorous in their sight testing using the most-up-to-date diagnostic tools, and scrupulous in what they can offer to patients in some cases who need corrective measures to assist and/or improve their eyesight capability. Because I have always been extremely satisfied with the service that Rawlings offer, even though I moved to Brighton five years ago from Croydon, I remain one of their patents because I am confident and happy with the service that their staff provide.

Space, seating, lighting, calm, location all welcoming. Most importantly, i never feel rushed. No question is too silly. And privacy means not having to listen to others going through the same process. Professional to a T !

A personalised service; you see the same person each time, which I appreciate. Very efficient and competent staff, who are always polite and friendly, and give advice based on knowledge and experience. They are very thorough, and don’t cut corners.

I was advised by urgent care at hospital to seek an emergency eye assessment following a period of some alarming visual disturbances. The ophthalmologist who carried out the assessment could not have been more thorough, competent, kind, patient and reassuring. She carried out a range of examinations on my eyes, explaining simply and clearly what she was doing and what the results of each examination were. She followed up , as she promised, by sending me written information about the visual migraine I had experienced, and when to seek further follow up, together with a copy of her formal assessment. I was really impressed by her level of expertise and sensitive patient manner.
