During the time I wanted to purchase either silver or gold I reviewed companies that offered silver or gold 401(K)s or directly sold precious metals. During my search I came across "Red Rock Secured." Not really having the knowledge of opening a silver or gold 401(K) or directly purchasing precious metals, I first checked with the Better Business Bureau's web site. Red Rock Secured was and still is rated "A+" and customer reviews have rated Red Rock Secured with a 5-star rating. I called Red Rock Secured to find out the benefits of opening a silver or gold 401(K) or directly purchasing silver or gold. I explained to Mr. John Healy, Account Executive, I was thinking of opening a silver or gold 401(K) with a competitor company. Mr. Healy explained that most companies charge an annual fee to maintain your silver or gold 401(K). I did not know that. I also stated I was interested in purchasing gold, but Mr. Healy stated silver would be better to own especially during sever economic down turns. Plus, I would actually have silver coins in my possession and not tied up in a 401(K) being managed by a company. During severe economic times silver could pay or be traded for everyday necessities. Gold, on the hand was for larger purchases or investments. I purchased the silver and glad I did at the time since silver prices have risen. During the purchase I received a transaction agreement listing in detail full disclosures, disclaimers, and risks associated with purchasing precious metals. So having read the transaction agreement I knew the pros and cons purchasing silver coins. I highly recommend Red Rock Secured to anyone that is interested in purchasing or investing in precious metals. Red Rock Secured always followed up even after delivery of the silver coins. Great staff and great company. Again, I highly recommend Red Rock Secured to anyone seriously wanting to purchase or invest in precious metals.

I have received a call from RRS to provide me with the information that I requested and they honored that request. I appreciate the transparency they shared with me on the fees associated with the rollover to the precious metals IRA and they appeared reasonable. It was also communicated that RRS would purchase my existing metals for an increase over my purchase that satisfied me. I had an extensive conversation with Tony and he was extremely helpful and further educated me on what future rollovers would look like for me.

I will consider rolling over another $ amount to a precious metals with RRS in the future.

I rolled a traditional IRA to a precious metals IRA with Red Rock Secured. My initial experience was positive as I worked with Jeff Ward and he is a pleasant person, but he is basically a sales rep, his job is to convince you the need to invest in gold/silver. All was fine until I cashed out my coins and received them with a market value of less than my original purchase. I was considering another precious metals IRA purchase and called Jeff and asked him two things. One - what would the fee be for another precious metals IRA for a specific $ amount and how much would RRS buy my current metals back for? He told me he would call me back but never did. Come to find out through some research that most of these companies are charging high fees to covert your standard IRA to a precious metals IRA. It’s important for these types of companies to be transparent with their fee structure and how these precious metals IRAs work. Trying to sell them on the open market will only lose you money. That information was not originally communicated.

I would highly recommend this company to use for your IRA or to just have a better nest egg.
